Can I heavily defoliate and lollipop them in week 3 of flower? Space is a scarce resource for this grow and airflow could be better right now.
Also want to avoid herms.

You only want to defoliate for the 3 reasons as mentioned below.
1. Leaves are stacked on eachother and moist can not escape from between those leaves.
2. Leaves are blocking airflow.
3. Large leaf on top does block a lot of light for the plant below.
Other than these 3 reasons defoliation will always decrease yield.
Just study your plants and check if you got one of the 3 problems listed above. If yes then you should defoliate that leaf.

I would not go heavy on defoliation ever. But you are looking a little bushy in there. I would just remove anything that does not look as healthy and is covering bud sties, But don't go more than like 5-10 percent. week 2 of flower is kind of the latest when you want to do this. I would not lollipop anything with a stem thicker than trellis net at this stage. but removing a fan leaf here and there may be better than going in and cutting a bunch at once. maybe start with a few lollipop and a few days later go up top and remove a few old fan leaves
Needing heavy defoliations are an urban myth.
always have a good reason to remove a leaf. if you constantly have overcrowded areas, then don't overcrowd them in the future. That is a choice.
In week 2 all of them recieved a lollipop. Will be redone end of week 3.
They recieved ~500-600 PPFD for the first two weeks whilst allowing a good dryback each night to increase flower production and allow some stretch.
Stretch is almost done and as height will be a limiting factor i will increase lightintensity to 850-950ish from now.
Stretch really showed difference in height in the plants and the characteristics of each.
Defoliated a third and last time just below the trellis.
RO system had a fault so just added 3,0 EC onto my tap water level of 0,7.
Tops getting around 1100 PPFD, mid 800.
Overall good swelling and no deficiency in sight, could bring EC down a bit.
Seasonal cold temperatures have hit the tent and some strains are already showing signs of purple.
Gush Mints were growing into the lights and had to be cut off at the top for safety reasons.
Occasionally picking 1-2 leaves if they are shading buds.
On day 50 all strains show their genetic traits.
I decreased light hours from 12/12 to 11/13 to speed things up a little bit and to not decrease ppfd. Tops are getting around 1100-1200 and mid canopy 650-850 ppfd. Still watering vegetative as Big League 1 seems to be bulking up .
Will water generatively with Athena Fade from Day 56 on.
My favorite plants:
GRCxBBC 1 leans very much to the Banana Butter Cups Hairless pheno and begins purpling just now. Very beautiful to see and the only clone which survived. Will grow this strain out with more space to see this budstructure with better conditions as she was the smallest from them all.
Big League 2 will be the best yielder. Seems to be leaning heavy on the brisker genetic. All branches had to be hold in place as they started to fall over. Very dense bud and nice nugs from top to bottom. Also very frosty.
French Toast has the biggest buds and the best terpene profile from them all. Very loud fruity terps, bud structure will be more on the loose side. She is also the most mature from them all.
Today we have the last day of flower at day 70.
Aromas are getting real loud.
Most Trichomes are milky on all strains, French Toast and AllGas could’ve been harvested earlier as they are leaning very far to the amber color.
Flushed them for 1 week with tapwater at around 0,3 ec and 5,8 ph.
Some samples have been cut on day 63, which already smell amazing.
