As preparation i germinated 4 seeds with paper-towel method. After that I put the seeds to Jiffy-Pots. These pots were put into the final 11L-Grownest Pots.
The Jiffys got some Root Juice and Mykorrhiza and also the final pots once.
So first week is over, I had to hang down the LED because they stretched to the light.
Gave every pot 1L of water.
Beginning of week 4 all ladys got fimmed, I wonder how that will turn out.
They all grow so powerful, got massive leaves. After that week I will send them to flower.
Got an additional far red lightning who will send them to sleep for 15mins when flower begins.
So today I switched to 13/11 lightning, I will try this with my far red expansion light who is able to bring them plants faster sleep so they can get an additional hour of light. Maybe I'll see first flowering in 7 to 10 days.
Started with Bloom nutrition now as they stand now under flowering light cycle for a week and one shows first signs of preflower.
All made a massive stretch. One I fimmed now doesn't show a main stem but that's okay. Smell begins.
Finally the first flowers appear after about 12 days under 13/11 light cycle.
They stretched about 25cm the last 10 days. I defoliated them first time and found some bugs who gonna be treated with neem-oil.
Beginning of week 8, she is still gaining height. Now flowers are developing and one of them four seems to need more nutrients as leaves are switching to yellow. Maybe because of a different phenotype than the other 3 are.
To stop the malnutrition I gave them 4 girls full dosage of BioBizz nutrients.
The 4 ladys are really hungry and build up their buds. Smell is awesome.
Day 68 the got Grow-nutrients again to stop gaining yellow leaves.
Still fighting against the nitrogen problem. It's not getting better but also not getting worse. Trichomes are 80% milky and 20% clear.
She is flowering faster than I thought.
Last weeks are coming. All ladies are in full flower now, smell is now unbelievable strong after opening the tent. Two seems to be nearly ready for harvest, maybe 2 more weeks for them.
So this grow was so much fun. Easy to germinate, easy to handle. They told me when they wanted nutrition, they had a nice and strong fruity smell along the flowering stage. They never had any problems. I tried to hold them small as i didn´t knew how much they will stretch. They ended with an average height about 70cm. For an organic grow i am happy of 1,2g per Watt.
What an amazing grow adventure. The Girls were easy to handle all the way from seed to harvest. I love the beautiful red and orange colors one pheno offered. The smell while harvest is strong. Had to keep the windows closed. They had no problem with the BioBizz nutrition and never had to check the PH.
Under the cree Cob LEDs they had no need for a long stretch and all 4 stayed under 80cm. Far Red led bar worked well, I was able to light them 13/11 and only needed 61 days flowering.
Final weight will be delivered after drying.
Edit: final dry bud weight is 244g out of 4 Plants in a 80x80 tent under a Pro Emit 4 COB cree 3590 LED light.
@MarcXL, be interested in your yield numbers. i was gutted with my hulkberry reaching such a tall height but only have 2oz. was my lowest yielder but tallest /thickest plant ?. Trying to gain faith again with the clones.
Thx. Sure I wait till 5th pair of leaves is grown. As you said I looked at your diary. I wonder why my plants build up much bigger leaves than your Hulkberry. They look so different according to week 3.
looking sweet and ripe now. should be a nice smoke when done. i had the diesel taste strongest of all. have got my clones settled and trying to better their mom .
nice job
i would wait till 5th set of leaves have formed to give them chance to form a rootball. topping is stressful to such young plants too. These grow very tall ,very fast , once settled in . thick stems and chunky bud sets. perfect for a scrog if trained young enough. Although seems an age waiting for them to get a move on , use the pace to your advantage as my single hulkberry has towered past all the others in my crop by a mile , she was the last in the buckets by at least a month and i topped her once too , yet she is still my tallest at well over 1m. come and take a look at my diary and you will see what i mean. beautiful strain and genetics.
could put less in.? lol. it grows amazingly well. my youngest plant yet it towers over everthing in my grow now. Her buds get like fat little golfballs when forming up. sticky lady too. good luck with them ( have 9 clones ready for next run , it is that good !)
When you see the leaves becoming light, you can give some extra grow nutriënts. Do you stick with the lower popcorn buds? Hope to see them dark green next week again!
💪🏻 Green that Hulk! 💪🏻
@MarcXL, yes, it took a bit to long, but i think they be fine! Reducing buds to the sweet spot yields more then lower buds combined, but i'm testing this currently in my grow. Kinda can go two ways, total bust or totally awesome! Let's hope the later...
@Budcrack, last two waterings i gave them an extra dose of BioBizz Grow nutrient. Now the leaves stopped becoming yellow. I won´t cut the popcorn buds, i will turn them into canna-coco-oil.
Well i don´t think they will become green again.
