Hello 1st Grow. 4 plants all auto. 3 Critical purple and one tangerine dream. I only used fox farm big grow and altho they are auto, One or two of them sretched big time and I switched to 12/12. And trellis netting for even canopy.

If you are growing all autos your plants should do better under a 18/6 or 20/4 light cycle. I do have some autos under 12/12 at the moment but that’s only because I’m also growing photos. Before adding photos to the mix I ran my autos under a 20/4 light cycle from seed to harvest. They loved it! Also, regarding nutrients... Autos are a bit sensitive to nutrients. My autos ran into some nutrient burn issues when feeding nutrients at full strength, they seem to like 1/2 strengh much more. But overall i think your girls look well loved, keep it up!
Hello all, some pistils are turning brown, a quick google search tells me it could be 3 things
1-Light heat
2-Herm
3-Nutrient burn
I would appreciate any opinions

Hello all! This plant looks mature and I have a microscope but the thing is I thing it has over ripened and, some trichomes fell off? Or let me tell you my trichomes never turned MILKY OR WHITE. Some of them are amber tho. Anyways, on growweedeasy.com there is a guide that says : Harvest even if your trichomes are not ready. I guess it will be more a gut feeling to chop or not chop. Any input greatly appreciated.
And yes, I have chopped down the main cola and dried and smoked it. I guess it gets me high but I smoke all the time so it's hard to evaluate because I have also bought quality weed to smoke
So guys, only from the photos, what do you think?
My trichomes looks like half clear %10 amber. Do you think it could go to amber without stopping at milky? Or milky trichomes fell of but there was new growth and I could never see clear trichomes?

That's very odd that they didn't go milky at all. Maybe it's the way you are viewing them? Lighting can sometimes make milky and clear trichs look similar. If you are seeing a fair bit of amber then I would go ahead and harvest. The buds look nice and full and dense so they seem mature to me. The longer you let it go the more sleepy the high will be. If you like how the tester smoked then pull and dry it now. If you what you tried didn't give you enough of that couchlock body high then let em go a bit longer.
Nice size cola! I think this is the 87th day getting close to harvest! ;) This is 1 of the Critical Purples and one Tangerine Dream in the same tent! My First grow! I panicked my first ready looking plant didn't show any "CLOUDY" trichomes but now everyday I see "cloudy and white" trichomes on both tangerine dream AND the critical purples.
Still, the most mature plant still not showing what I want BUT : I think I figured out why, I touched them a lot while growing and I damaged them!
I can tell by the amber trichomes which somehow got damaged while touching them :) Because the first mature plant looks super mature (NOT the one in this diary) Moral of story :
Don't touch your buds!
Note to myself : I REPEAT DON'T TOUCH YOUR BUDS, you will damage trichomes, those are your indicators and if you lose your indicators you are flying blind
I had to make a partial harvest and dry and smoke some budz :) its pretty good. I dry them for 20 minutes twice with a little interval. Does not smell great but does not taste bad either. Otherwise I would go and buy weed?! Anyway. It’s all over a good high and if that’s what you want it’s great indica type. I have 3 other plants which I will harvest and dry and cure properly. Happy growing :)
Plant 1/2 Easy strain BUT, because it had some light and hear stress? And made more calyxes and foxtailing so it was hard to find the new trichomes! As new calyxes produced brand new trichomes it was hard to decide. Still curing but tastes like berry-ish besides clrorophyl :)

@souljasam,I am always high so hard to evaluate. Uhm but I can tell you this even I had bought “real” weed but I smoked “mine” all day and did not need to smoke the “real” weed. But it was a small sample so I finished it. But it looks so ripe! Also I think the most popular carson microscope is too much 60-120 I think I need 40x compared to all google trichome images. My theory is they over ripened and original trichomes fell, then because of light stressed it created more calyx and its fresh trichomes so all clear? Does it make any sense
@JohnDee, interesting. I do see some milky, but they aren't super milky. You do have a fair amount of amber though. The tester that you tried, what is close to the high you wanted?
@Gteh420, i dont exactly know how but YEAH! I wish I cloned them too. One person did clone a critical purple auto. He’s on growdiaries. I guess it’s all blurred lines what constitutes “auto” more rudealis? 20%? In either case I wish I cloned. BTW. After 12/12 for a week and preflowering, I went back to 18/6 and 24/0 :)))))
@JohnDee, so they got back to me and explained that the strain is crossed only with 10% ruderalis so as you said I need to flip to trigger flowering.

@JohnDee, Looks right to me! I say harvest at will. Letting more trichomes turn amber will give a more mellow, couch lock, type of high. More white will be more uplifting and energetic. But she’s ready.

Welcome to GrowDiaries @JohnDee! The 12/12 schedule does not make Auto plants go into flowering. Instead you make them stretch for more light. Your Auto-flower will stretch less if increase the light to 18/6 or 24/0! Hope this helps 😎
@HighTV, Ran 2 autos 18/6 sprout to harvest. Lost 1 to light stress new QB. Second turned out good Sour Kush GCS. 7.7 OZ. 93 days from sprout 27 days veg.

Hello and welcome to your very first grow. well i see Droopy Leaves , and Defoilation=? not sure of this. OK lets start.For having good results our plant need min. 18 hours of light. watch your watering its maybe to much. a plant in that size would need around 100-200 ml . For you future grow i would use a blooming fertiliser that is much poorer( 2-4-4) and using the actual one for the lsat feding before flushing. For more information feel free to ask

I see this was 3 weeks ago. I was wondering if you had harvested yet or if yours was still going. I am on week 9 of flower for my CP and still have close to 2 weeks in her as a guess. I see yours here still had a lot of weight to put on. Nice grow though 👍

so the photos are correct, I guess there was a miscommunication. I am not closer to harvest yet (especially when looking at yours)
