Well mate I hope I'm wrong but it looks to me like it is trying to survive by cutting off the supply of nutrients to that part of the plant, my chilli plants do it. One thing is though, the reason I asked if you split it was because it is a risky things to do as it could introduce infection into the plant. You are into your 4th week of flower now and then maybe 4 weeks to go, you could be ok as the stem is quite thick and I'm sure the inside must still be ok and providing nutrients to the rest of the plant. All I can say is keep an eye on it and let us know how it goes. :)

@Tweak, Cool, I think you will find my diaries interesting, I have been working through some problems with this grow but it looks like I'm on the up side now and back under control thank god.

@TheBudMan, she still gave me about 2oz, but I know from my previous grows they can put on a lot of bulk in the last couple weeks. I just started my 4th grow with atomic bomb, from bomb seeds. I’m really looking forward to this one, as it’s THC bomb crossed with OG Kush and Chemdawg (one of my faves) I’m on my way to your diaries next to check out your grows. Anyway if I run into any troubles this time I’ll be sure to hit you up.

@Tweak, to be honest im not to sure I would use drip of dish soap and some water clean the area , I will look into this for you and get back to you I will call up some of my professor friends .

@Tweak, cant really say but i've seen plants wilt and die overnight for absolutely no reason... sometimes... things just happen

@CRiSPrGrow, it seemed to happen over night and the breach that was affected was all wilted so I cut it off, I’m just praying it doesn’t start to spread.

If you mean that " Old looking" wooden stuff around your stem?. it notheing to be afraid of. Maybe she was hurt on this area. And its normal. Looking like old wood and thats it, she becomes wood, she is 10 weeks old and nearly on the end of her lifecirlce. happy growing. for more feel free to ask Look into other diaries and you will see that " wooden structure" more often
