Week Nine, March 3, 2019 - The plant is still growing without any troubles. As mentioned before, the package statement regarding the number of days calculated a Harvest date of March 7, 2019. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that she will be ready on that date, as of right now only about 30% of the pistols have turned color and only about 10-15% of the Trichomes have turned dark. If she continues along this path, I believe she won't be ready for Harvest for another 2-weeks. I may include Mollassas along with the feeding schedule this next week and see if the additional sugars help her mature. Hopefully next week I will be able to include some magnified photos, showing the Trichomes. Other than that, all I can do is wait until She is ready. That's all until next week! UPDATE - Today is March 7th, the day I calculated from the directions according to a 9-week Harvest date. She isn't ready yet so, it is possible it may take 10 or even 11 weeks for her to finish. I gave her a dose of Mollassas with her watering, we'll see if that helps her along. Beginning with Photo 15 I added some new photos I took today to show up close where she is at today. The Cola is beginning to get top-heavy & leaning over. I will need to watch & possibly tie her upright if she goes into the 11th week. I hope you enjoy the new pics!

Has anyone ever heard of a strain that gets stuck on Cloudy Trichs? I'm just a few days past the proposed harvest date yet, 1 & 1/2 weeks ago I noticed 10% Trichs turned amber but, all the rest seem stuck on cloudy. 95% of the pistols have turned red, fan leaves are dying/dead

hey R_Owl , yeah I even had one that stayed stuck on cloudy trichs lol, really frustrating, but I'll tell you something, it's actually a good thing. Cloudy means the triches are filled with THC so 100% cloudy means that it's 100% max THC potency. amber trichs means they oxidised and produce CBN or CBD even which is not necessarily a bad thing, depends on taste. So when mine was all cloudy i left it a few more weeks then took it down, and after the cure it ended up being one of the stronger strains i harvested. Different strains rippen differently, maybe you just got one of the stronger phenos, so don't worry look at it like it's a good thing.

@The_Projexx, Thanks! I started out with two (fem seeds) but, one was a male! I think I pulled him before any pods popped but, can't be certain. Once I saw the pods, I pulled it and set it to the side for another day. Once I got back to him, I did notice one pod had spilled its pollen. Not sure if it happened in the tent or after I pulled him. This is called Hindu Glue, which appears to be rare as I could only find one breeder who offered it. They were Gifted to me. It's no longer available so a few seeds might be welcomed, depending on the outcome & potency. I'm uncertain if the Auto genes will transfer to any seeds but, they were siblings so who knows?

“I trimmed off all the large fan leaves so the light would read [reach] every bud, leaving none under shade.” & “The directions on the packaging said 9-10 weeks ...” Switching to Daylight savings time makes me irritable, and I’ve had quite a bit to drink, so please don’t take great offense at my candor. It’s more me than you, most likely. Defoliating during flower is a no no because it adds stress. Further, and more to the point, it doesn’t deliver the result everyone believes it does. Buds don’t need light. Say that aloud so it sinks in. BUDS DONT NEED LIGHT. They do need air and room to grow. This is the very reason plants naturally stretch when they go into flower. A dense under canopy is to be avoided because it can harbor humidity and encourage mold. That is why we defoliate when growing indoors under artificial light. Outdoors the sun is strong enough to nourish every leaf - no need to defoliate outdoors. Here’s a novel method I’ve played with: After growing a healthy bush, induce stretch by moving your light higher 1-2 weeks prior to flower, then flip (I prefer transition) to 12/12. (Induce autos also by moving light) Defoliate only the layered leaves touching each other, and dead leaves. Instructions on packaging? HA!!

". I was told by someone that if two Autoflowers were bred, their offspring would be regular photoperiod plants & not carry the Autoflower gene over to the resultant seeds." .... well "someone" doesnt know the first thing about plants let alone genetics lol

@CRiSPrGrow, so if seeds are produced, I should grow them as I would an autoflower? That info came from someone on a Facebook Autogrower page.
