This initial report is being posted at the time of cutting & hanging, I'm unable to comment on a smoke report. It was by far the easiest plant I have grown in 30 years. Absolutely no problems occurred throughout the entire grow. I just started growing Autoflower strains & the previous two strains did need attention to nutrients & PH. I'm unsure if I have just been lucky or the amount of Lighting I supply has allowed all my Autoflowers to grow above 32" and produce a few ounces of dried/cured buds. I've noticed other Autoflower growers who didn't fare as well and the one constant was the amount of lighting. I'm also very cautious with feeding nutrients while I've noticed others with a dozen or so nutrient products being used. They all seem to have problems with a nutrient burn so, perhaps that is something to consider? I will be updating this diary entry throughout the drying & curing process. Then I will be able to provide a smoke report.

To begin, I do not own a weight scale to measure the Wet weight or Dry weight so, I am unable to fill out those entries. Also, I am unable at this time to provide the flavor, potency since she was just cut & hung to dry. I will be updating this diary as those steps are completed. For now, all I am able to provide are some photos of the plant as she is hung up to begin drying. If I were to hazard a guess, I believe I should end up with at least a few ounces of smokable buds. I will be updating with new photos at each stage. Only then will I have a better estimate of the outcome. Today is March 21, 2019, so, in a few days, I should be able to show the cut & trimmed buds. In a few weeks, I will post up the final cured Buds and a smoke report. Until then, thanks for following along during this grow. Oh BTW, the last photo is of seeds which formed at the base of the Buds. There might be more inside the buds but, I don't expect there to be many more. As I mentioned in week 4, I found the second 'Feminized' plants turned out to be a true male. I thought I was able to remove him in time where no pollen sacs had opened yet but, obviously one had spilled it's pollen without my noticing. Should be interesting to see what these seeds produce. I only found one breeder which was providing these Autoflower 'Feminized' Hindu Glue & it is no longer available. These seeds may be the only ones left of this strain. Come to think of it, there may be a valid reason it's no longer available, at least not as 'feminized' seeds. UPDATE: After 3 days of hanging inside the tent with a small fan blowing, I checked the buds & since they are fluffy they were drying too quickly so I trimmed them off the stalks & placed them inside the jars. I filled two 16 ounce wide-mouth canning jars, one with the large buds & the other with the popcorn buds. I have added 5 new photos, one in a 12" bowl, the others are showing the jars & some closeup shots of the buds. They are extremely frosty! I can't quite put my finger on how to describe the smell. Sort of a mixture of Pine & Fruit. UPDATE - 7 day cure/taste test. It has been 3 days hanging in a dark tent, 4 days in mason jars. It could be due to only hanging for 3 days/4 jar & even with 3x burping/airing the buds are still spongy. I cut up a bud & let it sit for 15-20 minutes before rolling a joint. I then let the joint sit for about 4 hours before lighting it up. The smoke was very light, almost equal to a vaporizer (which I normally use), the flavors are as close as I could select, as described above. I took 4 nice puffs after lighting it up just before I began this Update and as I'm typing now it's getting harder to concentrate & type. It's still wintering here in Montana & we've had a few spring-like days & right now all I would like to do it lay-out on a lawn chair in the yard ;>} Definitely not a strain I would take Hiking up in the mountains unless you're sitting on the peak & only need to go downwards. As for the entry: "Up to 3 negative effects". Neither of the 4 selections is noticeable so, I left that section blank. I posted about 1 dozen photos of a few buds in their current state towards being cured. I will complete this diary with a final cured Harvest as the looks, flavor & effect will be most accurate for a harvest report. Until then...! UPDATE 03/29/19 Added new Photos of Buds which spent 7 days in jars. FINAL UPDATE April 4, 2019 I believe the buds have cured to a point where they are ready for steady use. They have definitely tightened up into some really nice firm buds. I ended up with one loosely packed 16 oz. wide-mouth jar of large buds and one densely packed 16oz. wide-mouth jar of popcorn buds. While I still don't have a scale with which I can provide an accurate weight, I would guess there are about 3 ounces from the one plant now that most of the moisture has evaporated. Quite enough to last me a good long while. I have two other jars, one each of different strains so, I don't imagine I will be growing any more for a while. In fact, I think I will be storing my tents and lights for the summer. I do have plenty of (auto) seeds so, I will probably select a few spots and plant some outdoors. I will probably germinate them & after two weeks, plant them directly in the ground. If I do, I will start another diary for them depending on how well they do. Probably around mid-June, I can safely plant them outdoors for a mid-September Harvest. Well, it's been fun! Until next time, take care.

Has anyone ever heard of a strain that gets stuck on Cloudy Trichs? I'm just a few days past the proposed harvest date yet, 1 & 1/2 weeks ago I noticed 10% Trichs turned amber but, all the rest seem stuck on cloudy. 95% of the pistols have turned red, fan leaves are dying/dead

hey R_Owl , yeah I even had one that stayed stuck on cloudy trichs lol, really frustrating, but I'll tell you something, it's actually a good thing. Cloudy means the triches are filled with THC so 100% cloudy means that it's 100% max THC potency. amber trichs means they oxidised and produce CBN or CBD even which is not necessarily a bad thing, depends on taste. So when mine was all cloudy i left it a few more weeks then took it down, and after the cure it ended up being one of the stronger strains i harvested. Different strains rippen differently, maybe you just got one of the stronger phenos, so don't worry look at it like it's a good thing.

@The_Projexx, Thanks! I started out with two (fem seeds) but, one was a male! I think I pulled him before any pods popped but, can't be certain. Once I saw the pods, I pulled it and set it to the side for another day. Once I got back to him, I did notice one pod had spilled its pollen. Not sure if it happened in the tent or after I pulled him. This is called Hindu Glue, which appears to be rare as I could only find one breeder who offered it. They were Gifted to me. It's no longer available so a few seeds might be welcomed, depending on the outcome & potency. I'm uncertain if the Auto genes will transfer to any seeds but, they were siblings so who knows?

“I trimmed off all the large fan leaves so the light would read [reach] every bud, leaving none under shade.” & “The directions on the packaging said 9-10 weeks ...” Switching to Daylight savings time makes me irritable, and I’ve had quite a bit to drink, so please don’t take great offense at my candor. It’s more me than you, most likely. Defoliating during flower is a no no because it adds stress. Further, and more to the point, it doesn’t deliver the result everyone believes it does. Buds don’t need light. Say that aloud so it sinks in. BUDS DONT NEED LIGHT. They do need air and room to grow. This is the very reason plants naturally stretch when they go into flower. A dense under canopy is to be avoided because it can harbor humidity and encourage mold. That is why we defoliate when growing indoors under artificial light. Outdoors the sun is strong enough to nourish every leaf - no need to defoliate outdoors. Here’s a novel method I’ve played with: After growing a healthy bush, induce stretch by moving your light higher 1-2 weeks prior to flower, then flip (I prefer transition) to 12/12. (Induce autos also by moving light) Defoliate only the layered leaves touching each other, and dead leaves. Instructions on packaging? HA!!

". I was told by someone that if two Autoflowers were bred, their offspring would be regular photoperiod plants & not carry the Autoflower gene over to the resultant seeds." .... well "someone" doesnt know the first thing about plants let alone genetics lol

@CRiSPrGrow, so if seeds are produced, I should grow them as I would an autoflower? That info came from someone on a Facebook Autogrower page.
