We're around Day 60 of veg on the bigger Johnny Dang (Ethos) and Blueberry (Dutch Passion) but I'm not flipping to flowering until the two smaller Blueberry (also Dutch Passion) catch up and I did just top them and since we just recently transplanted the bigger blueberry into 10g containers, the first thing I gave em was 1 teaspoon of Recharge (Real Growers) and 1 teaspoon of Fish Sh!t (Fish Head Farms), plants REALLY love it when that's the FIRST thing you give em mixed with water AFTER either a transplant or high stress training maneuver.
PPFD has a bigger range because of the different size of plants. The bigger ones are sitting at 500-545 PPFD, a little higher than I would like but I've had a lot of experience with the ES300's sitting at 28 inches so I put them a bit further away. It's always better to keep your lights FURTHER than closer. The smaller Blueberry are sitting around 400-435 PPFD since they're in the first half of veg, and they seem to like the environment they're sitting in. I will be making some tent adjustments, just to make a little more room for the plants. I took out the tower fan and I'll be taking out the floor fan and replacing them with AC Infinity pole-mounted fans. I'm gonna get 2x for the floor to keep aerating the root system, and gonna have two oscillating overhead fans providing air circulation up top and of course the inline fan to keep cycling air to maintain fresh air.
These plants got defoliated again just a few days ago so all the growth is right at the tops. I won't be doing anymore bending on the bigger ladies, just gonna let em grow tall the way the Cheddar Cheeze did from the last run. Also, the Blueberry in the back right, the incoming growth looks yellow but it will green up as the stomata from the new leaves keeps developing.
"Right now I'm giving about 50 sprays every 1.5 to 2 days. They don't need much water yet, but I upped it from 20 sprays. Next week, I'll be going to 1/4 gallon of water and each week increasing the watering ratio by .25 gallons"... ima have to try something similar. I sux so hard watering seedlings. The plants I'm growing rn have like 0 resistance for over water
@Ninjabuds, if you really want to stop overwatering your seedlings and you like analytics, make sure to get a scale and weigh what you’re container is before you water and after and once you have about 5-10% of water weight left, you can water again. I’ve been doing it that way and it’s been working great for me. Figured I’d pass that on. It seems like something easy, but often overlooked.
@txdiver, Thanks bro. I might just use the 4x8 for flowering in the next run with photos. Oh, and the blueberry bounced back...gonna create a new dairy for the blueberry and replace the purple lemonade with that. I might give the purple lemonade to one of my friends to run.
Hey good luck with Dang! I also just received my order with that strain following to compare yours to mine and see differences and similarities of the phenotypes later on whenever i germinate em probably next week
@Luram, Nice man! Johnny Dang was a new release I heard about and I’ve always liked Ethos Genetics, their dank is always fire. Good luck on your Johnny Dang run as well broski!
Everything is looking good and even if there is a little yellow on the blueberry she still looks healthy and looks like she is going to be big. Its good to see an update and hope all is well. Have a good one!
@txdiver, The bigger blueberry only seems yellow because as mentioned in the description, the stomata hasn't completely formed. By the next update, you'll see what I mean and the leaves will mature enough to start producing chlorophyll. Have a great weekend broski!
@txdiver, I fcked up. I ended up keeping the blueberry after all. And popped 2 more so now I'm stuck with 3 blueberry, good problem. Butt Glitter doesn't seem great but I could only give em the best environment, rest is up to them. Everything else is kicking ass though.
@txdiver, There will be times where I start a new run because I’m either experimenting or I just don’t like how they came out and I respectfully won’t explain myself. My results do speak for themselves. Please don’t take that the wrong way.
