One of them sunk pretty quickly. The other took a few hour longer to get soaked. Both Germinated in under 24h, but I've let them sit in the Water for about 36h longer.
Sadly no. 2 had a rather big transplant shock. Hope it'll bounce back soon. No. 1 still amazes me. Would have loved to see her full potential, but I sadly dropped her in week 1.
After the humidity dropped I had to take action. The towel is very effective. Especially when pointing a fan at it. I put the end of it in a bowl with water. Now humidity is stable at about 55%.
New pots have 3,15l and are mixed with 1,5g/L BioGrow
Dimmed the light from 50% to 40% since no. 2 is still recovering
Had to tranplant them due to rapid growth on 07.10. but both have received it very well
I'll just post the picture now and comment. I think you can see the growth yourself
They seem to be a very different phenotype or something because no. 2 is looking very different under the same conditions
This week is the last of the vegetative growth. I made a mistake in weeks prior and set the light too strong. That is why they didn't bother growing up much. That's why my internode distance's are so short. As a emergency solution I started to ScroG. I will probably not fill the whole net, but that's not the plan anyway. I just want to spread the branches a bit more. Also cut a branch off from the left (not clean at all, because it was too firm) that grew against the tent wall
On the 04.11. I switched to 12/12. So the light turned off at 05:00 instead of 11:00
On day 6 there is pre flowering to be seen. Not sure if I'm bad at it or the net is, but bending them is really hard. Their branches are rather hard. They start to get real thirsty
Sadly I have burned the top a bit. I think the light was set too high and they grew fast. This week the buds started to form. Since I smoke a lot I might not pick it up, but they didn't start to smell yet.
I stopped training them on Day 13. I probably have to cut much when doing defoliation in week 3. Canopy's really dense in some spots
Still no smell, but I think it's just my smell blindness to cannabis at this point.
Beautiful bus site started to from this week. On day 21 the trichome production has started visibly. Still no smell tho.
Did the defoliation and lollipopping on Day 21 as well. At first i was really hesitant, but after a few cuts it started to be fun. Had to cut 2 whole branches off of the left because they've went nowhere. Next time I'll scrog them from the start. People say this training is not for beginners but I disagree since you have so much in control. Really love it.
Have also added 10g of BioBloom per plant like the manufacturer said
Smell started to appear a bit more obvious than before. Trichome production has rapidly increased. I'm certain their color is natural. I've noticed a root sticking out of the soil. But it was the only one so I didn't act
I am hyped on the end product even tho I started to grow a liking to them. Think I'll stick to dry organic fertilizer since it's so easy to dose and maintain
Noticed uneven temperature in the tent. 19° below canopy and less than set on the thermostat above as well. What also happened due to that is an increased rise in humidity by 3-4%. Still ok but not ideal. I decided to build a MacGyver kinda construction to redirect my "growbox air" in the tent but mix a lotta fresh air with it as well to ensure enough C02 and air for growth. To achieve this I faced the air coming out of the box on the ground about 40-50cm away from the fresh air hole. I also placed some stuff around it to kind of encapsulation the old air and a bucket in the direction of airflow.
Long story short: I achieved even temperature through the tent and even an drop of 2% in the "worst" spots and 5% in the best
My microscope finally got delivered, so I can add some photos of that. The smell increased. The Buds got thicker this week and browning pistel appeared
Week was good. Smell has increased and develop. At first it only smelled skunky but this week it started to develop a citrus and/or berry smell as well. I wasn't expecting any change in smell, but this was a welcoming surprise.
Still impressed by the right
I got a dehumidifier because at some days the humidity was way too high. This helped me hold my humidity levels. Week was good so far. The trichome production has gotten a noticable boost. You can see them start dying. Smell has become more defined as well. Really proud of them
