Continuing with the almost same parameters as last week. I switched from watering every 2 days to every 3-4 days. I noticed very little stretch and some deformed leaves.
The GSC is still in vegetation phase and around 25cm tall. The Runtz is in its first week of bloom and around 40cm tall. Both plants got defoliated, but the GSC grew so dense that i had to defoliate a lot more than the Runtz. I've also started using the trellis net, mainly to make both plants share the space better since the GSC is still so tiny.
Finally both plants are in their flowering phase and the GSC starts to stretch a little. The GSC is tall enough to slowly grow through the trellis net too. It's around 40cm tall. It also slowly starts to smell.
The GSC is slowly catching up to the Runtz height wise. The GSC is 55cm tall and the Runtz is 70cm. Since I had sogns of calcium deficency, I started adding BioBizz Calmag to the fertilizer regiment. The smell in the tent gets slowly stronger, but I would still consider it to be a weak smell.
I've started using a cheap dehumidifier to reduce moisture in the tent, especially during the night phase. Let's hope that's enough to keep mold at bay. Seems like the Runtz has reached its final height at 72cm. Not sure about the GSC, its height is 60cm. Defoliation is down to a minimum. I don't know how much the calmag helped, but I'm still using it. The Runtz still seems to have some kind of malnutrition or light burn.
The new small pot is basil. It has nothing to do with the grow, just using the light for some tasty kitchen herbs 😅
The calcium deficiency isn't getting worse anymore but it's still bad. I will just take the hit in yield and keep the grow running, no choice with an automatic. As expected, the height hasn't changed anymore, only the buds are growing now.
It's getting autumny in the tent. The Runtz should be done in a week so I'll start giving it only water. The GSC still takes some more time so I'll continue to feed it fertilizer one more week.
Since the Runtz was ripening very uneven, I harvested the 4 tallest buds to even out the height of the canopy. In total it was 80.23 grams wet (rough trimmed) which I will add to the total sum after the final harvest. Let's see if we can harvest both plants next week.
This was a beautiful plant, I love the purple colors. I made a couple of mistakes this run so there's room to grow. But I'm super happy with the outcome, not the strongest strain but very enjoyable.
This plant was growing slower and more compact than the Runtz in the same tent. But in the last week weeks she still managed to produce more weight than the other plant. This was a nice surprise. The plant smells nice but looks a little boring.
