Hello mates, this journey started together the Amnesia's and Bruce Banner's seeds, i germinated three seeds that i don't know the provenience, foundlings' seeds. So i didn't know also whether they would be a male or a female, they sure came from a buds of a femizied plant but who remembers which one? Who knows what they'll become? 😇
Two of them germinated without problems but one of them showed some sings on the leaves like a possible fungus so, considering that in my tent i only run 4 plants togher, i take away it from the tent.
I did watering with 700ml [T 22.6°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.34] splitted into three pots in 2 wees then i gave at the survivor 100ml with BioEnhancer (Green House Feeding) [T 22.6°C - 167 ppm - 0.33 ms/cm - pH 6.4].
Light schedule:
1 LED 200W 100% 16Hr on / 8Hr off
Water info:
Base water with 4:1 ratio (demin:tap water) with 0.2g epsom salts added to balance salts on 5L.
pH: 7.25 - ppm: 169 - EC: 0.3 ms/cm
Hello mate, first week of vegetation, i started with the transplant of this little lady. I know that i should have waited she was more grown up but i needed. The soil used for germination in the first pot was my reconditioned soil without any information about the its propriety or pH, so I was afraid this could make her feel bad.
I covered the hole with 5g of Mycrotex (Biotabs) after i added the feeding at the soil, BioGrow (Green House Feeding) 40g (2g/L of soil), i Use the half dosage because the Ligth-mix of biobizz is lightly fertilized.
Looking the others plants in the tent she slowed down after the transplant otherwise she looks good.
Unfortunally i have some little bugs in the tent like fungus gnats or thrips so i put some traps in the vases and to prevent the attack to the plants i nebulized them only one day during the night hours with Neem's Oil and Potassium soap (10ml/L of water each).
I changed the ligth schedule and i add the second Led:
2 Led 200W each dimmered at 75%
I did watering twice in this week: the first time i add Bioenhancer (0.5g/L)
0.5 L of water + bioEnhancer 0.5g/L + pH-down 4 drops/L
T 22.6°C - 167 ppm - 0.33 ms/cm - pH 6.4
0.5 L of water + 2 drops/L pH-down
T 22.6°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.34
Hello mates! The second veg week is here.
There's not too much to add respect the past week, she slow down a lot after the transplant in fact i find the pot very wet during the week so i didn't give water. Furthermore she shows some signs on the lower and older leaves but i don't recognize what was it. Already during the past week i spraied the plants with oil's neem and potassium soap, i love use only bio-product on my plants, because i had the thrips in the tent but in this case i use it for helping the Mimosa to go beyond her difficulties.
Hello mates, the third and last week is here.
The girls don't drink so much also during this week, i gave her only 500ml with BioEnhancer (1g/L - T 21.8°C - 217 ppm - 0.43 ms/cm - pH 6.5) in the middle of the week. The signs of the disease are going better but i don't claim victory.
I did LST to stimulate a bit the growth, we will see.
I increased the led to 85% of power to reach the 100% gradually during flowering phase.
Hello mates, the little one also in flowering.
She is definitely the slowest of the tent, i don't know why, meaby the transplant, meaby some disease from the old soil, meaby the intensity of the led during the veg phase.
Anyway i try to stimulate with the LST techinque and a bit of pruning because is little but very dense.
I feeded each plant with 80g of BioBloom-Green House Feeding ( like 4g / L of soil)
I changed the ligth schedule:
I give at the plant 12Hr ON/ 12Hr OFF of light and i put the leds at the 100% of power
Watering:
0.5 L water + 2 drops pH-down
T 22°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.3
1 L of water + 2 drops/L pH-down (x2)
T 22°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.3
Hello mates, the second week of flowering here.
During this week i let her settle by the training of the past week, in fact she has had a good stretch and the first forming buds.
For now she seem gone further the disease showed in the first vegetative weeks.
I did watering two times in this week, the first day i used Bioenhancer (1 g/L):
1 L of water + bioEnhancer 1g/L + pH-down 5 drops/L
T 22°C - 217 ppm - 0.43 ms/cm - pH 6.5
1 L of water + 2 drops/L pH-down
T 22°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.3
Hello mates, i'm sorry for this long break but i had a problem with my PC and i didn't have it for 3 weeks so i'll try to finished this old diary soon.
This little girl had another normal week in peace. She had a good stretch and the flowers followed the rithm of the other plants in the tent.
In fact she need more water at the end of the week.
I did watering three times in this week:
1 L of water + 2 drops/L pH-down (x3)
T 22°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.3
Hello mates, i'm trying to regain time loading with more frequency this diary. We reached one month of flowering.
During this week I trained again this little one, I cleaned the lower part of the plant, under her 50% height and some leaf that was covering the buds in the centre of the plant.
She had an intense green leaves and she had already a lot of trichomes, at this moment she looked very healty.
I did watering three times in this week, the first day i used Bioenhancer (1 g/L):
1 L of water + bioEnhancer 1g/L + pH-down 5 drops/L
T 22°C - 217 ppm - 0.43 ms/cm - pH 6.5
1 L of water + 2 drops/L pH-down (x2)
T 22°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.3
Hello mates, i'm adding another week knowing it's too early but you could see from the data in the photos that it's becoming too old 😱
During this week she was more thirsty so i raseid a bit the amount of water giving also the BioEnhancer at the beginning of the week.
The buds swelled a lot but the trichomes was the very protagonist here, they was so concentrated in the buds but also in the sugar leaves already.
The only bad news was that the plant showed some little brown spots in the lower leaves but during this week the problem didn't seem so bad.
I did watering four times in this week, the first day i used Bioenhancer (1 g/L):
1 L of water + bioEnhancer 1g/L + pH-down 5 drops/L
T 22°C - 217 ppm - 0.43 ms/cm - pH 6.5
1 L of water + 2 drops/L pH-down
T 22°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.3
2 L of water + 2 drops/L pH-down
T 22°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.3
1 L of water + 2 drops/L pH-down
T 22°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.3
Hello mates, we are in the sisth week of flowering, like in the ohter diaries (Amnesia e Bruce Banner) we have a problem with pH.
I adjusted the pH of the water for all the plants but during this week she had more difficulties, maybe because she remained the smallest throughout the cycle.
It's true that she showed some spots brown but she was still looking so beauty for my eyes, with a lot of trichomes, very dense buds and an intense smell of mimosa and gum, which gave me her name.
I did watering three times in this week, the first day i used Bioenhancer (1 g/L):
2 L of water + bioEnhancer 1g/L + pH-down 6 drops/L
T 22°C - 217 ppm - 0.43 ms/cm - pH 6.38
2 L of water + 3 drops/L pH-down (x2)
T 22°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.1
Hello mates, we are near to the end of this beautiful plant looking the buds.
The buds resumed to swell luckily despite the issue of the past weeks, surely adjusting the pH solution helped. She had the signs only on the leaves but all the buds was save.
I did a little defoliation taking away only the leaves that covered the buds in the centre of the plant.
The smell of mimosa flowers and gum was very strong and the concentration of thrichomes was very high, i think she'll give an intense high 😍
I did watering four times in this week:
2 L of water + 3 drops/L pH-down (x4)
T 22°C - 131 ppm - 0.26 ms/cm - pH 6.1
Hello mates, it's finally the time to share the last week of this little girl.
I checked her trichomes at the beginning of the week, after seeing the trichomes of all the plants in the space, i decided to do the harvest at the end of this week.
This plant wasn't properly syncronized with the others but i could't harvest in a differently time because the only space in which i dry the buds is the same tent.
I gave water two days then i stopped three days before harvest
Anyway this is the concentration i saw:
Mimosa Gum: few amber trichomes but the milky ones were enought, probably the firsts smokes will be more cerebral than i would expect.
tot: 40% transparent - 57% milky - 3% amber
Hello everyone i'm finally finishing this diary 🙌
Surely Mimosa Gum was not the biggest or the tallest but she sorprised me a lot. For first she was a foundling seed so she could be a male, then she could grow with some malfomations or show signs of hermaphroditism but nothing went wrong with her genetics and she came up well, i'm the only one responsable of the issues during her growth.
She produce an incredible amount of trichomes, not only on the buds but also on the sugar leaves that gave me back a lot of matter to do some experiments. The buds were so solid, thick and hard with few sugar leaves compared to the flower.
Mimosa flavour was particular, at first it was pungent then it softened feeling notes of mimosa flower and the smell of a new gum thing.
We will see in the smoke review if they comes out again some day 😂
