NEW! Gelat.OG x2 Seedsman

Hello and welcome. This is Gelato OG by Seedsman. It is mostly indica; mixed with Gelato and OG Kush. I am attempting to grow 3 plants and hoping for a pound. It will be grown in a 4x4x7 tent, 5 gal DWC bucket. Each bucket will have its own 254 gal/hour air pump. It will have 4 x 4 inch air stones. I will use no temperature regulation method but only by using hydroguard and great white. I will be using 4 x 125W viparspectra LEDs. They will be on the WHOLE time. I will keep the lights furthest away and then gradually bring it down, closer to the plants. Currently, my indoor temp is set to 75F but my indoor tent fluctuates between 77-82F.

Unfortunately one of them did not make it 😭😭😭. So now I am working with 2 plants. Right now it is sharing its 2x4x5 growspace with a Critical Orange Punch but it will be transferred to its own 2x4x7 grow tent in a week or two. It will eventually have its own 4x 125W viparspectra LEDs and double scrog nets. I am thinking about adding a Green Gelato by RQS into the grow tent as well. What do you guys think?

Steady growth this week, they’ve adapted to the solution and the roots are developing very nicely. I am not controlling my resolution temperature to remind you. I will change out the res this week and give them fresh nutes. I’ve decided that 2 of Gelat.og, 1 green gelato, and 1 critical orange punch will all share the same tent under 2 x 200 COB/CREE lights.

Hello and welcome. I apologize for the late update. Today is 1/30 and it has been 10 days since the last update. Lot have changed. I had to supplement the solution with some cal mag because it was demanding it. But it was easy to fix and shortly after it started to vegetate better. I may add some B52 in the future. I will have to balance the nutrients. They also love the 400W truewatt CREE/COB lights that I bought recently. I am no longer using Viparspectra at this time. I have topped these girls once so far, slight defoliation, and are getting LST'd. They're very bushy. I will also change the resolution today and give them fresh nutrients.

Hello and welcome. I have started flowering these babies 2/9. I have added a scrog net today to accommodate for the stretch and to even out the canopy during stretch. I have another scrog net which will support the heavy buds in the future. I have been change the resolution every 10 days or so and it has been really really good. Resolution temperature stays around 74F. Hydroguard and Great White are doing its amazing job keeping the infection from happening.

2/17 Gelat.OG girls are doing quite well. Not as growing as fast as my Critical Orange Punch by Dutch Passion. However, they're not complaining about anything yet (fingers crossed). Roots are looking milky and beautiful, no discoloring. I am not controlling my indoor temperature nor my solution temperature. I suppose, I am very blessed. The garden is becoming more full, they're responding very well to defoliation and SCROG technique.

2/24. Amazing growth since last week. The Gelat.Og is so healthy, I can’t say much. From the pictures it looks like one is top of another but that’s really not the cases they’re managed very well in terms of flat canopy. Green Gelato on the south, not so well. And I expected that from her, I’ve topped her too vigorously and few of the main stems broke off her and she’s been depressed ever since. The room looks pretty good. Temperature is well controlled. The only thing is now changing out the water solution on while keeping the plants under trellis net.

3/3 Gelat.OG are doing great. One is a bit taller than the other (which is in the top). Makes sense since the lights are focused in the middle... I will grow only 3 plants next time instead of 4. They’re also drinking about 2.5 gal of water every 5-6 days. They look very healthy and I’ve somewhat defoliated and lollipopped slightly. I do little by little as I go to prevent shock.

Hello and welcome. Week 5 (3/11) of flowering on Gelat.OG by Seedsman. Unlike her Greem Gelato by RQS counterpart, these 2 girls are doing very well. Slower than Critical Orange Punch but oh my they’ve caught up. Definitely a indica dominant and it can clearly be compared from left to right with my Critical Orange Punch. They don’t drink water as fast as COP but as long as they continue with bud making I’ll be satisfied. They also like their PPM around 500 so I’ll keep it at that. Will do water change today.

3/17 hello and welcome! We are going into week6 of flowering. These girls stink man... in the grow tent, these girls are located on west and north. I added a visparspectra 125W because the north girl did not get much light than I wanted it to. I was really worried about raising the temperature any further because of limited vertical space but then I actually thought for once and I folded the grow light steel hangers (all 4) and then hung it. It saved me another 6 inches of space and I’ll take that any day. Because of this quick intervention, my canopy temperature stays between 79-81F during the day. But I added another fan within the lower part of the tent but it’s aimed towards the DWC buckets and the roots. About the girls; they are definitely turning bluish purple color. It is going to be very dense and bushy; classy cookies phenotypes. Smell is reserved but trichomes are as sticky as Gorilla Glue itself. I think each plant will give me about 2-3 OZ. But remember, I added a 125W led light which now my total light output is 525W from 400W. She shows no signs of complications although she is showing some nute burn - I am not too worried as they become more sensitive as they reach the end of their cycle. But if it gets worse than I’ll intervene. Will keep close observation. I am liking Seedsman genetics so far.

3/25 Getting more frosty by the day. Slowly turning into bluish-purple colored buds but I’m am not so sure. However, Gelat.OG are the biggest in this tent now.. I think it’ll need about another 2-3 weeks before I can harvest them. The end is near! Can someone tell me if I am having cal mag deficiency? I always get this kind of symptoms at the end and I am not 💯 sure. Help would be appreciated. On the positive note, I think i May be able to try this by 420 :)

4/1 Hello and welcome! In the States, we call today the April Fools day. I have some good news. They are about 2 weeks out. The one in the back is taking a bit longer to fatten up but the one on the side is the one with the big buds. Notice the bottom popcorn buds are all purple-ish blue but the top buds are not. I believe that is because of their temperature differences. Other than that, I hope to flush them soon. Hopefully by week 9. Thanks for liking and following!

Hello and welcome to our grow diary! This week is an exciting week because we will flush one of the plants today 4/8. I will add FloraKleen and flush for about two days before harvesting. This plant grew so fat, I can't wait to harvest, weight, and smoke. I think I'll yield between 3-3.5 oz. and may be 2-2.5 oz from the other one. One thing that is concerning is why the leaves started to look like that? 4/9 Flush started with FloraKleen, It will be flushed for 30 hours and then harvest. 4/10 Chopped the plant down. I am estimating that it gives me about 3.5 oz. I will update once it dries.

Thank you for your interest in this final journey. I took her down on 4/10 and today, I've trimmed and jarred her. However, this is only 1 out of 2 plants that I've harvested so far. This girl gave me 80.7g of high quality buds and about 20 grams of trim/popcorn buds. Second plant gave me 60 grams and about 40 grams of trim. I will use the trim/popcorn buds for edibles and maybe try to make my first bubble hash. I will harvest the second plant tomorrow as I will flush her today with some FloraKleen. This girl grew wildly, however at the end, she became quite sensitive to the nutrients. I am still trying to figure it out. But I'd like to grow her again in the future as I am hooked on growing Gelato or Girl Scout strains.
