Hey everyone! Let me tell you about my first grow attempt: Apple Fritter Automatic!
I started with Dope Soil Lite from Flo – the EC value was between 0.4 and 0.6, and when it came to the pH level, I was so relaxed that I thought, "Whatever" (you don't have to worry about that with Living Soil). Sometimes it’s good to keep things casual, especially when you have to garden on a windowsill – it wasn’t exactly the VIP lounge for my plants! But hey, the market was sold out, and I had no choice.
After a few weeks, I was finally ready for the first move: a Spiderfarmer tent with a 100-watt lamp. Mid-bloom came the big upgrade; my Homebox and 2x SANlights Evo4 arrived, which meant the second move – because you also have to find the perfect spot for your plants.
During the flowering phase, I really got into the groove! In the fifth and sixth weeks, I tried the Vegan Booster from the 5-1 fertilizer. It was like a revitalizing smoothie for my plant! However, I cannot recommend the 5-1 fertilizer in combination with Flo – my plant developed unsightly spots and necrosis everywhere. It was as if it had tried a bad skincare routine! So, I added fresh Dope Soil (10%), and guess what? The plant recovered like a phoenix from the ashes, sprouted new leaves, and prepared for the next round of blooms.
The harvest event was a spectacle in itself! I harvested in three parts after 9, 10, and 11 weeks. In total, my little hero weighed about 1200g wet weight – after drying, it came down to 240g.

Ich habe mit Dope Soil Lite vom Flo angefangen – Der EC-Wert lag zwischen 0,4 und 0,6, und beim pH-Wert war ich so entspannt, dass ich dachte: „Egal“ (muss man bei Living Soil nicht beachten). Manchmal ist es gut, die Dinge locker zu sehen, vor allem wenn man auf der Fensterbank gärtnern muss – das war nicht gerade die VIP-Lounge für meine Pflanzen! Aber hey, der Markt war leer gefegt, und ich hatte keine Wahl.
Nach ein paar Wochen war ich dann endlich bereit für den ersten Umzug: ein Spiderfarmer Zelt mit einer 100-Watt Lampe. Mitte der Blüte kam dann das große Update, meine Homebox und 2x SANlights Evo 4 kamen, damit verbunden der zweite Umzug – weil man ja auch für Pflanzen den perfekten Standort finden muss.
In der Blütephase war ich dann richtig in Fahrt! Ich habe in der fünften und sechsten Woche den Vegan Booster aus dem 5-1 Dünger ausprobiert. Das war wie ein vitalisierender Smoothie für meine Pflanze! Allerdings kann ich den 5-1 Dünger in Verbindung mit Flo nicht empfehlen – meine Pflanze bekam überall unschöne Flecken und Nekrosen. Es war, als hätte sie eine schlechte Hautpflege-Routine ausprobiert! Also habe ich frisches Dope Soil (10%) hinzugefügt, und ratet mal? Die Pflanze erholte sich wie ein Phönix aus der Asche, bildete neue Blätter und bereitete sich auf die nächste Runde Blüten vor.
Das Ernte-Event war dann ein Spektakel für sich! Ich habe in drei Teilen nach 9, 10 und 11 Wochen geerntet. Insgesamt brachte meine kleine Heldin etwa 1200g Nassgewicht auf die Waage – nach dem Trocknen waren es dann 240g.
