Hello everyone,
this week was nice for my Tropicana Cookies, but not the best ever. Inflorescences are shaping with beautiful pistils, her potassium deficiency reduce, probably thanks to my banana Fermented Fruit Juice which provide vitality and macro/micronutrients. Unfortunately, I noticed the presence of thrips, which develop very fast. I used soft soap at 1.5ml/L and Neem Oil at 2ml/L by spraying on leaves. I tried to avoid any bad taste to the harverst by dodging buds with my sprayer. I also add a few drops of PeperMinth essential oil to disturb these damn thrips. I removed all atacked leaves and I tried to kill some of them (not an easy task). It going better as i already note a decrease. I finally change my lamp from a SP1000 to a TSW2000 made by MarsHydro. I set it on 50% power at 35cm to provide a ppfd around 800µmol.m²/s. Climat was at 24°C and 50%RH on average.
I can't wait to see how she could be in a few weeks.
