10/31/24 Short facts:
- Watered: 1 x 1L, 1 x 0.7L, 1 x 0.5L — 2.2L
- VPD @ 1.1 — raised by 0.1
- Light @ 80% ~700 to 1050 PPFD — increased by 10%
- Temperature has increased, dehumidifier and increased light output had their effect
- BioBizz Bio-Bloom increased to 2ml/L
- Deficency in phosphorus and potassium
- Added some Bonemeal
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lessons learned:
- How a phosphorus defficiency is looking
- I need to water her more, than i thought
- I have to improve the soil I'm using with more additional fertilizer, when mixing it in the beginning
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
She doesn’t look good. My first thought was that she was lacking potassium, but thankfully, a user on GrowDiaries named “Dendegrow” commented and pointed out that it looks more like a phosphorus deficiency. A friend and I did some research and agreed that Dendegrow is right. Thank you, Dendegrow! (The cannabis community is really great and helpful, probably the most non-toxic community I know. Sharing knowledge and helping each other out. An awesome community!)
I added some bone meal as a first attempt to help her out. I also gave her some diluted urine from myself 😂. Additionally, I ordered some phosphorus fertilizer.
Her pot is always quite heavy compared to the other pots. Something must have gone wrong when filling the pots with soil. Maybe I compacted the soil more than in the other pots, but I can’t remember. I’m going to try giving her a bit more water in the upcoming week.
Sometime next week, I’m planning to buy supplies for the Blumat drip system. (I’ll be gone for about a week soon, so I need to test the system beforehand.)
You trim nice and tight so stems and sticks aren't getting weighed. Is your limit the harvest limit, or the post-cure limit?
Perhaps stick with Photos so you can flip and harvest as needed without starting over? Or maybe give your extra bud away? Freeze it and send it through bubble bags? The laws here are quite vague on that (can grow 6 plants per person, each up to 6ft tall, with 3 in flower... but only 2oz per person? - dumb-ass politards ruling things need to go back to grade school and pick up some basic math skills.
Funnier yet, a single dwelling is only allowed up to 12 plants no matter the number of legal occupants. Buuuuut... there isn't an associated limit on the number of FLOWERING plants per house, only per person. SO, a residence with 4 adults can have a full *12* plants in flower. Even a crap grower like me would be able to grow out 5oz * 12 plants = 60oz (or 3.75 POUNDS!!) of freshies or about 1LB cured ready to smoke.
MATH!!!
edit: I love those colors, BTW. Hope she smokes as well as she looks!
@DurpDankley, Thank you, trimming seems to be something, I quite like, it is just very chill with some good music and you can get lost while looking at the buds 😂
Yeah, I'm going to try some photos in summer, already know, what two plants I would like to grow.
Having something to smoke is not important to me, I rarely smoke. Last month it was 0.15g 😀 Smoking makes me too chill and I'm not on my game, so I rarely do.
Yes, the here in Germany, you are only allowed to have 50g of cannabis and 3 plants per person per household. Having over 50 and under 60g is a small offense, no problem there, but having more than 60g is a crime. Also giving away weed is considered a crime and gets punished.
Our laws are quite new, they were created, because politicians already knew, that cannabis is getting consumed by a lot of people. (Basically if you live in Berlin, where our parlament is, you can smell it every day. I lived there for some time, and it is basically everywhere.) But the cannabis from the streets is often polluted or unhealthy things are added. So with the new laws, the consumers have a safe way to grow for their own needs. And also the black market takes a dip. It doesn't make any sense to buy on the black market, when you can grow your own weed, when it is stronger and of better quality.
I'll probably try some over the holydays, I'm also curious how it tastes and what the effects are on me.
Your law sounds quite weird. So basically a appartmentbuilding is only allowed to have 12 plants. Funny.
Also, I don't see that you made *any* mistakes whatsoever, considering your legal harvest limits. Who knows, you might have had to throw away 3x more than you could keep 😩 Maybe a fun experiment for ya: Run a grow where you prune off everything except the main cola. 😋
@DurpDankley, That actually sounds funny. 😁
The law is quite weird, because you don't know, how much is left after drying it. But I destroy it, after I know, so I'm not over the legal limit.
The limit is somehow quite random, but you need at least some limit, so you can differ someone from a grower, that only is growing for his own needs, and someone, who is selling stuff on the black market.
@NAS_Garden, Thank you very much!
It really seems, that this is one of these Phenos!
I'll probably going to defoliate her a little bit more in the next week.
@yun23, They are called clover - or Klee in german - they are used as a cover crop. They do help against loosing too much water on the top of the earth. They are also helping in giving the earth around them a little bit of nitrogen. It also helps to establish useful bacteria inside the earth 👍
I also do spray the water my plants are getting, and having them, helps against spraying earth out of the pots 😂
And it also helps the Cannabisplant, when there are fungus gnats, they can eat the roots of the clover😓
