Hey gyus, haven't posted in a while this time I'm growing the new SLHxGMO from greenhouse seeds, never had a long flowering strain, so we'll see how this turns out. I left the seeds today in a glass of RO water with some root boster for them to soak, and tommorow I'll plant them directly in small cups. Update: 24 hours later they all have roots, the seeds are indeed very fresh. I've kept them in a fridge for 5-6 months since i bought them pretty much exactly when they were available by Greenhouse seeds. Update 2: Very dissapointed with the seeds, only 3 out of 9 emerged from the soil and i planted them like 0.5mm deep, 3 of them went bad, 2 are ok as you can see but the 3rd one has a strange stem and I don't know if it's gonna make it. I had just 1 seeds left of the lemon haze, which i directly planted into the soil, and added 3 adittional King Juice's that i had which are looking like they will emerge in 1-2 days. 2 of the other lemons had roots at least 2-3 cantimeters so i left them alone. hoping something will emerge out of them also. Not gonna like I was looking forward to one strain grow, but looks like the next time I'll order double the amount of seeds I need, to make sure the tent will be full. 😡

Here we are in day 15 end of week 2, I've repotted them in 20L buckets and it seems it stressed out the lemons a bit, but they will bounce back soon. The yellow line are the lemons and the purple one are the King juice's. I've also swapped the SP3000 with the FC-6500, running it at 40cm height 28-29% power.I'm wondering if I should top this time as I do in every grow, I don't know change it up a bit 😄. what do you guys think?

Day 20 Decided to top them because the Kings are kinda stretchy, didn't want to risk a lot of difference in top height between plants. They are looking better since last week, still not feeding them, only stimulators. I topped above 5th node and got rid of the bottom ones, aiming for 8 tops per plant. The IR is probably responsible for some of the streching. currently watering with 600ml per plant.

A little light burn on 2 of the Kings so I raised the lamp with 10cm, these are the tallest topped plants I've ever had. I don't think I'll wait the full 6 weeks of veg I had planned, since I don't have a lot of space left for the lamp to be raised(about 20 cm), and I don't want to have problems with it later on. We will se what happens next week. Little update: I defoliated a little and super cropped the top nodes so that the lower ones can catch up, but I have to do this everyday because they keep recovering 😆. Even broke one top on the tallest king but it's perfectly fine and keeps growing, I secured it with a little aluminum foil. They are putting on some size now , and I am thinking on switching soon.

Day 35 veg Today is the 1st day of flowering, the light intensity is 60%. I reached the maximum height for my light and I most likely will have to think of a way to raise it, if not, I'm going to mess with the intensity. Today I fed them for the first time and I lollipopped them the other day and that's about it. My water is 75% RO and thats why I upped the silicate dose a bit. Don't want to miss out on any micronutrients.

I continue to water with 1 EC, I will be careful with the food, because they have some claws here and there, and they have a slightly longer flowering so yeah. The long king is showing a slight magnesium deficiency on the lower leaves and I'm thinking of getting Epsom salt to try and see if that works and also maybe raise the PH a little to 6.3-6.4 I feel like they can't absorb it, not that it's not there. In the PK supplement from greenhousefeeding, which I will provide from the 3rd week onwards, there is additionall magnesium. The lamp is at 64% 40-50cm from most of the plants, only from the long king it is around 30cm , but there is not a speck of light stress, so for now they are ok.

The first watering of the week was with a small dose of Greenhouse PK Boost, added to the usual mix, as I put a smaller dose of novamax, and the second watering was a flush with Flora Clean and water with 0.2 EC, to clean the nitrogen a little. From now on, I will put the PK first and then supplement with novamax to the desired EC and I will be careful this time not to overfeed them. Unfortunately, the long king has hermied out, I think it is due to the increase in temperature in the last few days. It has not been more than 27C, but this particular one may have had too much. I went trhough the whole plant and removed the balls and I will observe it for a week if it continues to produce I will remove it. It is interesting that all the balls were right in the middle of the plant, up on the tops and the lowest branches were ok. The important thing is that there were no open balls, so far we are ok.

I found out why the big one hermied, the other day I had to water in the morning around 6am or so, I go in... 30 degrees celsius 😅 , I immediately lowered the lamp so I could reduce the voltage so that it wouldn't heat up so much. Now it's 20cm from the high ones and 35 from the low ones at 65%, it was otherwise at 70%. I think they're ok, because this morning the lemons had stretched towards the light and there's no damage to the high ones for now. I did 2 waterings this week, and on the second one I slightly raised it to 1.8 EC, because some of the big ones lightened in color a little. I put half a dose of Epsom salt in the mix. On the first watering I put more PK, and on the second more novamax. 1.6 EC on the first watering, 1.8 on the second. The lemons started to sugar up early.

The temperatures dropped a little, they are fine, only the big King Juice is turning yellow, but I think it's from magnesium or it's just hungry. I calibrated the EC meter and surprisingly it was up by 0.3 units, so my mix was a little weak and I last watered it once with 1.8 then with 1.9 EC. I increased the PK and slightly reduced the main food and I water it with 6.3-6.4PH. The lemon is sugaring quite well, but the smell from the crystals is still neither lemon, nor mushrooms, onion, garlic from the other GMO parent, but we'll see, there's still a lot of time left. The juice has already released the smell of orange juice and flowers, I remembered why it's my favorite strain 😁, it smells better than my last grow, where the strain was Tahoe OG from Symbiotic with parents- Mimosa X OG. Apparently mixing with kush makes it sweeter ,so good job Greenhouse.😄

Tempetures have been up lately, struggling with that, something around 28-29 celsius, also the plants have been dropping like crazy, most of them I've put againts the wall and the lemons I had to tie up with all kinds of stuff, they are basically all over the place. I had one top almost touch the ground. Regarding food, one or two have had a couple of burnt tips, but nothing crazy as I will flush next watering anyway. The lemons are fattening up nice, and the smell is great, the kings are slowly starting to change into that red purple colour. due to the plants collapsing I've defoliated some of the inner leaves to prevent humidity around the buds, as best as I can.

I have mites on one of the King's I'm starting week 7 of flower now and I don't think spraying is going to be the best decision. I've flushed my plants today, the other ones don't have spots on leaves. The sick plant is moved away form the others. Should I harvest it early or ?

Neem is getting banned in a lot of countries and is in mine. I would not be spraying it on the plants in general and specially in flower. You are going to smoke this yes??? don't add in neem. The active ingredient in neem is a suspected carcinogenic and has other issues with the reproductive system if I'm remembering correctly. Also spraying anything in flower is a no go extra moisture is bad for bud rot. and you want your buds as clean as possible as you will likely ingest some of that stuff you spray on them. I would be more along the line of wiping all the leaves with a bit of soap in water and just psychically removing as many mites as possible. and for next time, just a IPM option like predator bugs. or spray in veg before flip to flower.

Yesterday I flushed them with FlashClean and next time I'm hitting the kings with ripen until flush before harvest. The lemons I'll feed for another two weeks or so before flushing them again. From today I am also leaving the window in the room open to lower the temperatures a bit, hopefully it will help with the mites. I picked whatever leaves I could from the infected king in question, but honestly, it might make it, because the tops that were bad were the bottom 2 tops, the upper tops are ok. Hopefully the mix of UV, wind and low temperatures will help. As a last resort, I wondered if I should just cut off these 2 tops and let the rest ripen. On the infected tops, the crystal smells very strange, slightly like mold, but there is no mold visible, and on the upper tops they smell normal. The lemons have also started to get purple colors, especially the middle one, the tops look exactly like the picture on the website.

Merry Christmas everyone! End of week 7 The kings are on Ripen and this week I'm flushing them and from there on only water, the lemons will soon be on Ripen too. Even though they say 10 weeks for the lemons, they already have completely milky trichomes, I think by the end of week 9, both strains will be ready. The king already has some amber here and there, and I know when it's ready by the look and smell because it's my favourite strain 😁 . The middle lemon, the one that's the most unstable in the middle, will probably be the favorite of the grow. Besides the unique smell, it turned quite purple, it just looks oilier than the others 😁 . The mites are still there, it's not getting any worse, but next time I'll be cleaner and with something preventative for sure. I manage to maintain good humidity and thank God, because with those buds resting on the tent, they could have gotten mould.😅

The end is near, today they were flushed with 50/50 distillate and tap water with 3 ml/l Flash clean. I'll try to water them 1-2 more times with pure distillate and I think after about ten days I'll take them down. The King is ready, I'm just waiting for the Lemon, I smoked a test bud of the lemon the other day and it's some bomb stuff, it's a strong hitter, but with two types of sativas I don't know if I'll be able to chill out sometimes 😂.

Well, that's it, I removed the lamp today and either tomorrow or the day after I will cut them, the mites have spread a lot lately and in one or two places I saw that a slight bud rot was starting, there's no point in waiting anymore. I managed to water them twice with clean water after flushing with the flash clean, their leaves turned yellow after that. We will stick to the 60/60 rule of course, for those who don't know - we dry at 60% humidity with a temperature of 15-16 degrees. I know that I will achieve the temperature with an open window, but I don't know how the humidity will be, we'll see. We are aiming for at least 12 days of drying, I will hang the plants straight up and remove only the largest leaves and then dry trim. Edit 01.13 Everything is drying and I'll post the result later on. Last two pics are of recent tested buds.

Great smell and taste, lets say you can taste an artificial lime flavour, but definately wasn't garlic/onion/mushroom.
