I must say I have this system sussed out...i absolutely love it....all I need to buy each time is a roll of spreader Matt and rockwool blocks....the running cost is nothing apart from the lights....no lugging soil about which I cant do because of serious back problems...the heaviest thing I lift is a rockwool block lol.... This way to grow is so easy

I always love seeing NFT grows! I feel that people who do NFT systems love contemplating variables and getting a system to work together. They are always interesting to me.

Finally I found someone on GD that’s doing what I plan to do after this run. I’ve got a friend doing it with outstanding results. Do you use clips and drop feeding trays through the top of the rock wool or drip onto the matt? what is your feeding schedule and times per day?

@@hydrohippy, part of my reset is switching over to the LED HLG 600v2. Check out their comparisons to HID. Secondly I live in Alaska it does get warm here but not like everywhere else and I’m in a basement where the ambient temp right now is 52°f. My average RH under current conditions without a humidifier is 32% with the intake and dump. Sorry I don’t know the Celsius conversion lol

@ThatoneAKguy, lol no worries...I'm a wealth of knowledge with nft 😜.. With nft its about the flow rate of water if you're making home made stands and using one rez. If flow is to slow you'll get water pooling and going stagnant! To fast and the roots wont take up the nutrients. With growing autos you'll find you will be warming up the water to much with the light on for 18hrs a day...now the weather warming up will be even worse!! I've only done autos once on nft and never again because of water temps!! Unless you are using led which temps should be okay

Just waiting on This SSH to finish up so I can get the main room all cleaned up and on to big and better yields! Since I’m limited on height my plan was to ad a central reservoir on the floor, and I already built two racks that are raised about 8” to hold two plastic totes and I cut the lids out to the size of the cube as it will keep the lights off the roots? Might take me a couple runs to get her dialed but I’m rubbing autos for a while so this should shorten the learning curve for any late adjustments to the system between.

Ok so its LESS THEN 30%....with only 1.5% DELTA 9 THC.....you know that doesn't mean anything.... IF YOU DONT HAVE A LAB TEST IT AND PAY FOR IT WEB PAGES DONT MEAN POOP... 95% of growers DO NOT HIT 22%....as a matter of fact 17% is probably a more reasonable target..... like 3 Blue Kings 32% potential....But the average grower gets about 22%.... IF IT DIDNT WIN A CONTEST PROVING THEY CAN GROW IT WHAT THEY SAY...ITS ALL HORSE POOP......REAL INDEPENDENT LAB RESULTS....like dispensaries dnt lie to people????? YEAH RIGHT....

Hello mate, just one question on this NFT. Is your NFT desk ( the one with drainage) perfectly flat? I mean absolutely narrow? I'm asking because I have NFT as well but in my case, the drainage desk is little bit convex, which results in creating a shallow pool at beginning of water flow. And when you have a pool, you don't have a thin film, as it is supposed to be and I think it affects the health of rootsystem of first plant in the row. Have you encountered something like this?
