Yooooo! Trying something new. Saw these testers from Dirty Bird Genetics and since I like Sticky Fingers Genetics and really wanted to run the Maui Wowie but didn’t want to hunt for a female these S1 seeds were perfect for me to try out. Let’s goooooo!
Week 2
-Yo! Just starting out week 2 lady is looking good was worried a bit about the true leaves as one looks a lil stunted but I let it grow out anyway.
-Will be transplanting at around 10 days tryna decide what size tho 🧐
Week 4
October 16
-This lil lady is looking good wasn’t growing much last week but I’m starting to see the secondary growth
-Nothing crazy just a half gallon of water with recharge at about 6.5 pH. Bottom watered.
Week 5
October 23
-Looking good she’s really in veg and I should be able to top her either this week or next
-Steam run gave up fruity musty stank so looking forward to what she’s like in flower
Week 6
October 30
- another week she’s doing great. Smelling up the tent and she’s not in flower yet
-Might top a lil later this week after her watering and it’s just been pH’d water and recharge in re amended soil
Week 7
November 6
-She is looking good. Responded well to topping and seeing her branch out laterally
-she still smelly just that old school funk mixed with a sweet tropical fruit. I love opening the tent
-Been watering 6.5pH with recharge also added some diluted flower power for the P and K prolly 1/8 the regular strength let’s see if it makes a difference as we will be flipping to flower next week or later this week
Week 8
November 13
-another week and we have flipped to flower about 5 days ago no sign of pistils but the bud sites are starting to lighten up in color
-got some nutrient water on some of the leaves last watering so that’s not good
-also top watered to get the bloom nutrients to break down for the coming weeks
-also rigged this card board cut out to keep the top soil dry so the amendments stay moist enough to break down as I bottom
water all the established plants
Week 9
November 20
-she’s still stretching im seeing the pistols so we shall see how she is these coming weeks but looking great
-still a faint smell but its been mostly gone since I topped her
Week 12
December 11
-just another week just watering and keeping things dialed in
-pollinated a branch so monitoring that but yeah will keep yall updated
Week 13
December 18
-coming along nicely. Smelling of new rubber, underarm funk and tropical fruit sometimes
-very frosty I see the start of some tacos possibly forming
Week 17
January 15
- pistils taking their time changing but still ripening
- prolly going to week 12 as expected but smelling good
-last two weeks so just alternating between recharge and plain water
Wooo been a long one but had to cut her to make room for my other ladies she’s loud guess the carbon filter works cause I had no idea it was this funky. Gonna let her dry for about 10-14 got a couple seeds I wanna make sure ripen up. Be back with a update in a few weeks!
