This should be the last week of stretching hopefully they've double in size already! All my plants are in full bloom and I still have a pretty much even canopy so topping seems to have worked out this time 😊 I'm gonna leave them alone now, I've lollipopped quite alot but any that survived will be made in to brownies anyway 😊

Does anyone have any experience with the ac infinity self watering bases? Just need to know if I should water them normally before putting the one the bases? And also some reassurance that my roots are touching the bottom of the pot would be great please 🙏

High MrGreen92, You need to use fabric pots for this system. You just water from above till you notice the first roots comming out of the fabric pot at the bottom. Then you can switch to the self watering bases. Happy Growing Buddy! 💚

I was thinking of trying four branches some time. Otherwise I normally top at node 4. However I am quite surprised you kept node 1 and 2 and removed node three which is fully formed. If I were to go with four branches you'd have been better off removing node 1 and leaving nodes 2 and 3 because they are the strongest

@MrGreen92, Yes, I alway top my autos at the fourth not except when I have put more than one in one pot. And after over a hundred autos, I can say that nodes two and three are the strongest. I can understand just using node one and two, because if you have a good strong initial pair, then you might want to give her as much time. However in your case, you've already grown the third node and the fourth is beginning so it would have made sense to use 2 and 3 instead of 1 and 2. After the cotyledon leaves you have a first true leaf with a single finger, it's possible for those two branches to be strong, but this is the exception, mostly they are weak, or one is. I'm currently growing two Mango Isle, they are at week two and you can see that although they are growing well for two weeks, that one has some branches coming off that first node, and the other doesn't. Generally I have found the best way to treat an auto is to top at the fourth node, I assumed that you intended to just have four branches.

@EazyRider, I didn't have a clue what I was doing other than watching some basementganja videos and just copied what he did. Thanks for the info though I'll definitely try that next crop, so you're saying to cutting higher up than what I did and instead remove the lowest nodes?
