Metamorph Hello everyone! ๐ We're back in the game, this time with two big hitters: Gorilla Cookies Auto ๐ฆ๐ช and Forbidden Runtz Auto ๐๐ฌ!
Preparation of Coco Coir โ Itโs a Process, But Worth It! ๐ฑ๐ช
Prepping coco coir is always a bit of a labor of love ๐, but it's all part of the game. I started by soaking the coco cubes in water ๐ง, adding a bit of Cal-Mag Xtra to give it that early boost ๐ช.After a good soak, I drained the coco, threw it in the pots and flushed it thoroughly ๐ฟ. The next day, I gave it a final flush and let it rest for 12 hours (hey, that's part of my feng shui ๐). After the 12-hour "zen time" ๐งโโ๏ธ, I prepped my nutrient solution with pH Perfect Sensi Coco Grow A & B, Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra, and my root boosters โ King Crab ๐ฆ, Great White ๐ฆ, Myco Chum and Orca ๐
Once I poured the nutrient-rich solution into the coco, I adjusted the pH to 5.8 ๐ and let it sit for a solid 3 days. Time to get those seeds ready! ๐ฑ๐
Seed Germination โ Let's Get This Show Started ๐
The seeds went into 6.2 pH water ๐ง, where they had their little soak overnight. By morning, the seeds sank, which is always a good sign ๐. I then transferred them to a small container where I placed them between two damp sponges . I made sure the container was humid ๐ฆ and sealed it up, keeping it in a spot with a steady 23-25ยฐC temperature ๐ก๏ธ.
The next morning, both seeds showed me a tiny 1-2 mm taproot ๐ฑ. No time to waste โ they were telling me theyโre ready! ๐
Final Coco Prep & Planting ๐ฑ
I drained the coco once again and mixed it with 20% perlite to give those roots some room to breathe. Filled up the pots and made a 1 cm deep hole for each seed, placing them root down into the coco. After planting, I gave them a light mist with a spray bottle and covered each with a cut-off plastic bottle cap for humidity ๐ซ๏ธ, making sure to poke holes for air circulation ๐ฌ๏ธ.
Tent Environment ๐ก๏ธ
The current tent temperature is sitting at 24ยฐC during the day ๐, and I havenโt hit the night cycle yet ๐, but weโre set for smooth sailing ๐. The Quantum Board 240W is doing its job perfectly ๐, and the coco is holding steady.
Letโs see what magic these two strains have in store! Stay tuned for more updates as we head into the next stage of this grow journey ๐ฑ๐ชโจ.

Metamorph Day 1.
๐ฑ๐ฟ After moving the seeds to coco, it took about 48 hours for both to pop their heads out! Runtz made it look easy ๐, but Gorilla struggled a bit with shedding its seed shell. I kept misting the top to help soften the dried membrane, but in the end, I had to step in with a little help from two needle tips. Now theyโre both standing strong and happy ๐ช๐ฑ. The tent is sitting at 20-24ยฐC with 60% humidity. Iโm keeping things moist by misting the area around the roots. Exciting times ahead! ๐๐
Day 2.
Gorilla had a bit of stress from the seed shell, but in my experience, a little stress at this stage often leads to a stronger plant ๐ช. Letโs see how it goes, but so far everything seems alright! Iโve been lightly misting around to keep the coco moist and give it about 50ml of clean water at the base to maintain hydration. ๐ฑ๐ฟ

Metamorph ๐ฑ๐ง The first week went really well! I gave them a few light waterings with a mix of Grow A 1ml/L + Grow B 1ml/L, Cal-Mag 1ml/L, and some root boosters according to the dosagesโabout 0.5-1 liter each time. Afterward, I topped off the coco since it settled a bit after watering. Gorilla is finally bouncing back, and looks pretty good considering all the birth stress it went through! ๐ช๐ Meanwhile, Runtz is growing like CRAZYโseriously, itโs unstoppable! ๐๐ฟ
โ By the way, hereโs a little tip! When youโre buying seeds, always go for the bigger ones! After tons of testing, Iโve noticed the bigger the seed, the bigger and healthier the plant grows! ๐ฟ๐ช
๐ I know not many people might be following this journal right now, but hey, letโs keep pushing and see where this goes! ๐ฅโจ
๐ฑ Week 2 is almost done, and the girls are looking great! ๐ฟ
Runtz is the bigger one so far, while Gorilla is still catching up. Iโve been careful not to overwaterโjust keeping it light with 1ml/L of A and B, Micro Chum 1ml/L, and water at 140 PPM, which brings the total to 300-350 PPM. The max water given has been around 1 liter per plant.
Temperature during the day is sitting comfortably at 25ยฐC, dropping to 19-20ยฐC at night, with humidity between 55-80%. ๐ก๏ธ๐ง
Everything interesting is still ahead! ๐

Iโve slightly increased the nutrients and gave each plant 1.5 liters of water with:
โข A: 2ml/L
โข B: 2ml/L
โข Micro Chum: 0.8ml/L
โข CalMag: 0.5ml/L
โข Orca: 0.5ml/3L
โข King Crab: 0.5ml/3L

Metamorph ๐ฑ Week 4 has kicked off, and the plants are stretching out nicely!
Iโve started using LST (low-stress training) to spread them out as much as possible. ๐ฟ So far, everything looks good, but I noticed that the runoff pH is at 6.5, which seems a bit high for a coco substrate. To adjust, Iโve been watering with a pH of 5.5 to bring it down. Letโs see how things develop over the week. ๐ค
Looking forward to seeing how they react! ๐ช๐ฑ
๐ฑ Week 4 Update!
Yesterday, I did some defoliation, removing extra leavesโmostly from Runtz, but only three from Gorilla. For watering, I gave Runtz a tea mix with A+B 3ml/L, PPM 600 at pH 5.5. The runoff came out at PPM 300 and pH 6.7. Gorillaโs tea mix had A+B 2ml/L, PPM 400, and pH 5.5, and the runoff showed PPM 300 and pH 6.5.
Iโm stretching them daily with LSTโRuntz is looking great and responding well to the training. Gorilla, on the other hand, has had issues from the start and seems like itโs growing with some mutant traits this cycle. But hey, letโs see how it goes! ๐ฟ๐ช

Metamorph ๐ฑ Hey friends! Continuing the grow report, and weโre now in Week 5!
Runtz has revealed her true colorsโsheโs a girl! ๐ Gorilla is still focusing on growth, but both plants have had LST training and defoliation.
Iโve been watering with a tea mix at PPM 600 and pH 5.8. The runoff shows:
โข Runtz: PPM 350, pH 6.4
โข Gorilla: PPM 200, pH 6.3
Right now, Iโm watering every other day but expect to switch to daily soon. Both plants are growing strong, and Iโm hoping theyโll start flowering this week. ๐ธ The real beauty is about to begin as they enter the bloom phase!
Letโs keep an eye on these girls and see what they bring! ๐ฟโจ
๐ฑ Defoliation Day!
Up until now, Iโve only been removing a leaf or two here and there, but today I went in for a full defoliation session. ๐ฟ It was a bit intense, but Iโm hoping the girls handle the stress and bounce back stronger! ๐ช
Keeping a close eye on them over the next few daysโletโs see how they respond! ๐ Fingers crossed for a good recovery and growth boost. ๐
Week 6 Update
Week 6 is complete! I did another round of defoliation at the end of the week and stretched the plants nicely. Iโve started feeding bloom nutrients to the Runtz, hoping the Gorilla will begin flowering soon as well. Fingers crossed for a December harvest!
On to Week 7!

Metamorph ๐ฟHello friends, weโre in week 6.
๐ซRuntz has started flowering, but I canโt say the same for ๐ฆGorilla; itโs still in the vegetative stage. Hopefully, it will start flowering this week as well.
๐ฆFor Runtz, Iโm using Bloom A 4ml/L + Bloom B 4ml/L + CalMag 0.5ml/L + MicoChum 0.8ml/L, with a PPM of 800 and pH of 5.5.
The runoff water is coming out at PPM 500 and pH 6.7.
๐ฆFor Gorilla, Iโm continuing with A+B Grow 4ml/L + MicoChum 0.8ml/L + CalMag 0.5ml/L, PPM 800 and pH 5.5
The runoff water is coming out at PPM 580 and pH 6.8
๐
I flushed my Runtz plant because itโs already in the flowering stage, and the pH level was too high for proper phosphorus absorption. I used 12 liters of water with a pH of 5.5, but the runoff pH stayed min 6.5. After that, I gave it a mix of Bloom A+B 4ml/l + CalMag 0.4ml/l + Myco Chum 0.8ml/l, with a PPM of 800 and pH of 5.5.
For the Gorilla plant, Iโm still using nutrients intended for the grow stage since it hasnโt started flowering yet
A+B Grow 4ml/L + MicoChum 0.8ml/L + CalMag 0.5ml/L, PPM 800 and pH 5.5
The runoff water is coming out at PPM 460 and pH 6.8

Metamorph Hey friends! ๐ฑ Weโre in week seven, and earlier this week, I flushed the Runtz because I noticed a nutrient deficiency on a few leaves. Did a big flush with 15 liters of water at pH 5.5, which brought the pH down from 6.8 to 6.3 โ and it should keep dropping gradually. Now itโs feeding happily with A+B 4ml/l, Myco Chum 0.8 ml/l, and CalMag 0.4 ml/l, with a PPM of 800 and pH 5.5. The runoff is at PPM 450 and pH 6.3. ๐
As for the Gorilla ๐ฆ, its pH also spiked up to 6.9, which caused a bit of burn on 2-3 leaves. So, today, I decided to give it a flush too and switch it over to flowering nutrients. Finally looks like itโs starting to bloom! ๐ธ
On top of that, humidityโs been pretty high ๐ง๏ธ. Itโs cold and damp outside, so tent humidity hits around 60% during the day and can go up to 90% at night! I know thatโs way up there, but I havenโt had a chance to defoliate yet. Most of the moistureโs coming from the leaves, especially the ones overlapping at the bottom โ theyโre constantly wet. Might do one final defoliation in 1-2 weeks.
The uneven flowering also means the Runtz will finish up about two weeks before the Gorilla, which is a bit tricky since Iโll need to dry in the same tent and donโt have another space. ๐
I thought the Gorilla would stay small because it was stressed early on, but itโs really living up to its name โ growing like a true beast! ๐ฆ๐
This week, Gorilla had a flush ๐ฆ due to visible nutrient deficiencies on the leaves ๐. Hereโs the breakdown of the last watering:
Gorilla:
โข Bloom A: 4ml/l
โข Bloom B: 4ml/l
โข CalMag: 0.4ml/l
โข Myco Chum: 0.8ml/l
โข PPM: 800
โข pH: 5.5
Runoff:
โข PPM: 400
โข pH: 6.5
Runtz:
โข Bloom A: 4ml/l
โข Bloom B: 4ml/l
โข Big Bud: 1ml/l
โข Myco Chum: 0.8ml/l
โข PPM: 900
โข pH: 5.5
Runoff:
โข PPM: 500
โข pH: 6.5
Runtz is about 11 days ahead of Gorilla in flowering ๐ธ.
This week, Iโm not planning any major changes. I really wanted to defoliate because humidity levels are reaching 80-90% ๐ง, but Iโll hold off for now. Iโd rather let the plants focus all their energy on developing flowers ๐บ instead of growing new leaves.
Wishing everyone a peaceful and successful grow! ๐ฟ๐

Metamorph Hello, friends! ๐
Weโve entered the 8th week of our journey, and Gorilla is finally showing its true potential, stretching up and growing taller! ๐ฆ๐ช Runtz, on the other hand, is now fully focused on powering up those flowers. ๐ธโจ Despite the challenging conditions, everything is going well so far!
Unfortunately, humidity levels are sky-high โ around 70% during the day and up to 90% at night. ๐ซ๏ธ Nighttime temperatures fluctuate between 16-18ยฐC for about 4 hours, which isnโt ideal. ๐ The pH level stubbornly remains at 6.7, so I might flush again todayโฆ if I donโt get too lazy! ๐๐ง
Iโm sticking to the nutrient doses as per the schedule, and Iโll let the pictures do the rest of the talking! ๐ธ Sending you all peace and good vibes! โ๏ธ๐
Hey friends! ๐ฑโจ
This week has been quite an adventure! I flushed โGorillaโ with 25 liters of water (pH 5.5) and finally managed to bring the runoff pH down to 6.5. Hopefully, itโll start dropping further from here. ๐ง
Since โGorillaโ stretched a lot, I had to raise โRuntzโ by 20 cm to even them out under the light. Now theyโre both basking happily in that sweet glow! ๐
Water consumption update:
โข Runtz only needs about 1-1.5 liters per day now, which has reduced noticeably.
โข Gorilla, on the other hand, drinks 2.3-2.5 liters daily to produce proper drainage. A thirsty beast! ๐
Theyโre both eating well and thriving, so no complaints there! ๐
Flowering phase:
โRuntzโ looks like it will finish right on time, but โGorillaโ seems to need a little extra. This might get tricky since I plan to dry both plants together. ๐ค Iโm also slowly defoliating the lower leaves โ humidity is high, so by next week, Iโll probably strip most of the lower and mid-level leaves to improve airflow. ๐จ
Now, about the aromaโฆ WOW. Itโs absolutely out of this world! Every time Iโm home, I canโt resist opening the tent, sticking my nose in, and taking a deep breath. Iโm literally doing this all day! ๐
The smell is so incredible, even a ladybug came to visit! Seeing that little red-and-black beauty on my green canopy was such a magical moment. ๐๐
Another week down, and weโre riding this flowering wave with so much joy! ๐ See you all next time for Week 9 updates โ canโt wait to share whatโs next! ๐คฉ
Happy growing! ๐ฟ

Metamorph Hello, friends! ๐ฑ
Weโre now in week 9! ๐ At the end of week 8, I trimmed the leaves on both plants that were blocking airflow. โ๏ธ I removed about 30-40% of the leaves. Today, the plants show no signs of stress, and I think they handled it well. ๐ฟ๐ช Iโll do another round of defoliation at the end of this week, but itโs still a bit early to disturb them further. โณ
Gorilla is eating well ๐ฆ, but Runtz has stopped feeding. Runtz only needs about 1 liter of water in a 13-liter pot, while Gorilla is taking 2.5 liters. ๐ง
Nothing much new to share for now, but Iโll update you with any news during the week. ๐

Metamorph Hello again, dear growers! ๐ฑ๐
Weโve officially stepped into Week 10 of this wild and fragrant journey! Last week ended with a little makeover for the girlsโI defoliated about 30-40% of the leaves again. โ๏ธ The Gorilla decided to keep me on my toes by showing some nutrient deficiencies on her leavesโguess she didnโt get enough food after the flush. ๐๐ฟ (Lesson learned: donโt keep a Gorilla hungry!)
Now, letโs talk about Runtz! ๐ Sheโs an absolute queenโso photogenic that even my struggling phone canโt capture her real beauty. ๐ธโจ Sheโs forming into one giant, luscious bud, and her fragrance is something else entirely! ๐ต๏ธโโ๏ธ The carbon filter is fighting the good fight, but if the room isnโt aired out every 8-9 hours, a little aroma starts sneaking through.
But opening the tentโฆ oh, my friends, thatโs where the magic happens! ๐ฌ๏ธ๐ซ The aroma is intoxicatingโimagine diving headfirst into a field of flowers while bees whisper secrets in your ears. ๐บ๐ I just sit there, enchanted, savoring the smell, and staring at these beauties like a hypnotized gardener. Honestly, itโs hard to walk away. ๐
Hereโs their menu for the week:
๐ต Feed: A+B 4ml/L, Micro Chum 1ml/L, Big Bud 2ml/L
๐ PPM: 1050 | pH: 5.8
๐ง Runoff: PPM 1000 | pH 6.0-6.3
Now, for the not-so-great newsโฆ
Iโm struggling with humidity levelsโdaytime sits around 65-77%, and at night, it can climb to a stubborn 80%. ๐ซ๏ธ Temperature-wise, itโs 23-25ยฐC during the day and drops to a cool 16-18ยฐC at night. โ๏ธ๐ฅ
Despite the challenges, the endgame is near, and Iโm savoring every moment of this grow! ๐ ๐ Happy growing, everyone! ๐ฑ๐ฅ

Metamorph Hello, friends! ๐ฑโจ Another week has passed, and here we are at the end of week 11! Not much has happened โ Iโve kept things simple, just watering with minimal interference.
Runtz is almost at the finish line ๐ฏ โ most of the trichomes are beautifully white, with a touch of amber shining through here and there. Gorilla, on the other hand, is taking its sweet time ๐ข, but Iโm hopeful itโll catch up in the next two weeks.
Why two weeks, you ask? Because Iโm heading to the mountains ๐๏ธ for a New Yearโs vacation ๐ and need to wrap up the cycle before then. By the time I leave, theyโll be wrapping up their 13th week โ perfect timing, I hope!
For now, itโs all about the wait โ the finish line is so close I can almost see it! ๐๐ฟ

Metamorph Hello Growers! ๐ฑ๐
Weโve officially stepped into the 12th month, and hereโs a little story for you! Yesterday, I accidentally damaged one of the very bottom branches of my Runtz โ the one that barely got any light. Out of curiosity, I decided to dry it quickly in the oven and give it a try. Let me tell youโฆ the name โForbidden Runtzโ isnโt just for show! ๐ฅ Despite my high tolerance, it hit hard, and I can honestly say this strain is not for beginners. Iโm super satisfied! ๐
Now itโs Gorillaโs turn to get a taste test โ canโt wait for that moment. ๐ฆ๐ฟ
Other than that, no big news. Iโm patiently waiting for the end of the month, as I plan to wrap up the cycle around the 13th week. This week, Iโll give them another round of nutrients, and for the final week, Iโll start the flushing process. ๐ฟ
The smell in the grow room? Absolutely unreal. Itโs hard to describe, but it sticks to your brain so much that I sometimes catch myself remembering it while sitting at work! ๐ฌ๏ธ๐ญ
Wishing everyone an amazing holiday season ahead โ letโs keep growing strong! ๐โจ
Cheers! ๐
Metamorph Hello fellow forum members and growers! ๐ฑ๐
My grow journey has come to an end a bit earlier than planned. Why, you ask? Well, humidity decided to play the villain this time! ๐ง๏ธ The big buds started to rot from the inside, and I caught it just in time. Instead of risking more losses, I chose to wrap up the cycle. ๐ฌโ๏ธ
The last three days were spent flushing the plants thoroughly. ๐ฆ๐ง Despite the early harvest, Iโm pretty satisfied with both strains. Now, all thatโs left is to patiently wait for the drying process to finish and welcome the New Year with a stash full of smokable joy! ๐โจ
I donโt usually weigh my harvests (because numbers are boring, right? ๐), but Iโd say itโs a pretty decent yield. Letโs just say this year will definitely end on a high note. ๐๐ฅ
Happy growing to all, and may your buds always be dense and dank! ๐ฟ๐จ

Hey everyone! Guess what? I found a surprise guest in my tent today ๐โa little ladybug has moved in, and I couldnโt be happier ๐. Free pest control, right?!

Hey! Love the grow! Iโm currently micro grow style, i went with LST and minor pruning of the lowest budsites, when it comes to maturity, my plants are at week 9, and keep in mind your plants are way larger than mine, but maturity wise, my girls at week 9 are looking almost identical to yours at week 11. 15 -20% amber pistils, and a negligible amount of amber trichombs, I found 2 after looking at almost all of both plants. I hope mine continue fattening and end up taking 14 - 15 weeks before trichomes start turning! Sick grow mate!!
