Hey everyone! I'm starting my first grow, so any tips or feedback are more than welcome.
For my debut run, I decided to go with Cinderella Jack Auto from Dutch Passion. The high THC content had me hooked right away. I know there are strains with even crazier THC levels out there, but I wanted to grow something I’ve personally tried before and loved — the effect was just unreal! I’m hoping I can recreate that same level of high with my own harvest.
I’m germinating the seeds using the good old tried-and-true method — between two damp paper towels. One of the seeds showed its taproot after 4 days, and I transplanted it into soil on day 6.
I’m working with an 80x80x160 cm grow tent, where I’ve got two seeds popped, each sitting in a 10L fabric pot. I’m hoping there’s enough room for their roots to spread out and really reach their full potential.
Light setup: Spider Farmer SF1000, 100W. Right now, it’s covering both plants, but by week three, I’ll be adding another SF1000, so each girl will have her own dedicated light. I want to make sure they’re getting the maximum amount of light for strong growth.
As for the medium and nutes, I’m using BioBizz products — Light-Mix soil and their full line of nutrients. I decided to go the organic route to give my plants the most natural environment possible, aiming for a clean, tasty final product.
Super excited to see how this journey turns out! It’s my first time, so I’ll do my best to avoid mistakes, but we’ll see how it goes. Good luck to everyone starting their grow alongside me!
@GanjaChimp, Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words. It's great to hear that you think the plant is looking good. Looking forward to sharing more updates and hearing about your grow too! 😊
Hi there. Good luck for your grow! Like you already said, we started our grows of Cinderella Jack about the same time. If my plgrows well, we can compare our yields in the end😀.
@GanjaChimp, Hey! Thanks, and good luck with your grow as well! Yeah, it’s awesome we’re both growing Cinderella Jack at the same time. Let’s definitely compare yields at the end — it’ll be interesting to see how they turn out! 😄
I'm growing thc-victory from Dutch passion as well. Also 3rd week and it has almost same size of yours. To be honest I was hoping a bit faster development. At current pace I'm not sure they will be ready for flowering around 5th week. Good luck with your plant it is looking very healthy.
Hey dude, really sorry for your plant 😕. I checked your diary quite often last week, to see how far your girl is 😋. At that point I wouldn’t worry too much about it. At day 63 there are only approximately 12 to 14 days left till harvest. The buds look good so far, really juicy. Just carry on 😉
@GanjaChimp, Hey! I'm glad to hear that my reports are being read. I always look forward to updates in your diaries as well 😉. The buds really do look good despite the leaf discoloration. This week, they’ve bulked up quite a bit, and now I’m starting to see not just clear trichomes but more and more milky ones. Yesterday, I even spotted a few amber trichomes. I think in two weeks I’ll start flushing the plant with plain water and getting my Cinderella ready for harvest.
Your plant looks good 👍. I am really curious how long it will take till harvest and whether it will take longer than eleven weeks. Since you are one week ahead I am going to watch you closely 😂
Mate. Plants need rest. 24hrs of light is not good. When they say that. It just means the light timing is irrelevant. But all plants need rest. It's how they build up energy to push through stages of growth
.plants need at least 6hrs rest.
@gottagrowsometime, This seems to be a glitch on the website. Whenever I add a new week, the light cycle automatically changes to 24 hours for some reason. My light cycle is set to 20/4, as recommended by the manufacturer.
