hinterhofgrower 🌱: one of 2 seeds made it, probably treated too roughly and too wet, the second one did it, 2 days in the glas of water, 3 days in soil.
💧 : Start with SIP 4l
💡 : Start with ppfd 280 μmol/m²/s
🤔:
Honestly it looks like it could be just a little stress. Probably from the HST of the topping. Overall, the plant looks very healthy so you shouldn’t worry too much.
Hope this helps.
I dug out my old GoPro Session to make time-lapse videos. Unfortunately, it was only moderately successful. It created flickerbands. Do you have any tips for me?
My GoPro has an anti flicker setting. It’s under settings, general then anti flicker.
You can also try increasing your shutter speed. We had to get high end studio lights at work to avoide having flicker but I doubt our grow lights are as sophisticated.
Hope this helps.
hinterhofgrower 🌱: Little yellow tips and clawing leaves, Defoliation on Day 26
💧 : 2l, 6l SIP
💡 : Dli: 45 mol/m²/d
🤔: The LSD 25 is said to be sensitive to too much nitrogen in the flowering phase, so I reduce the fertilizer dose a little

hinterhofgrower 🌱: started this week with intensive LST and little Defoliation, Day 46 Lollipopping
💧 : 8l, 10l SIP
💡 : Dli: 45 mol/m²/d,
🤔: The plant has a rectangular area in the middle where it is not growing as quickly. The difference is almost 10cm. I suspect the lamp. Could it be that the centrally installed UV LEDs are triggering it? I noticed this in previous grows. There is actually less light outside, which can lead to slower growth or even stretching, right? I taped up the LEDs.
The plant has a rectangular area in the middle where it is not growing as quickly. The difference is almost 10cm. I suspect the lamp. Could it be that the centrally installed UV LEDs are causing this? They should grow more inside because of more light.
Yeah most likely you are correct. Now that I see there is a square area not growing as much with the other parts doing OK. It probably is the spectrum of light and most likely the uv or ir diodes must be in the center. I know my 100w spider farmer light with extra uv diodes. When I compare it to the other light I have if similar strength the spider farmer i always have to give the plants a smaller amount of umols. I was watching a video yesterday that said uv light you should only give you lr plants durrring flower and only for a few hrs a day. I suggest upgrading the light. I know mars hydro has a 150w light with bars it's on sale for less than 1oo I'm sure u ckd grow 2x2 pretty decent with that light
hinterhofgrower 🌱: Again yelow tips and light crawling, some signs of Mg and Ca deficiency.
💧 : 5l, 9l SIP
💡 : Dli: 45 mol/m²/d,
🤔: Does the DIY SIP suck up enough water to provide nutrients? I have optimized it so it wicks more water and hopefully therefore more Ca & Mg

hinterhofgrower 🌱: the mild deficiency symptoms grow out slowly, Trichomes are developping
💧 : 2l, 10l SIP
💡 : Dli: 45 mol/m²/d,

hinterhofgrower 🌱: Partial harvest of the larger buds on day 76, 177 g, Drying @ 15°C, 58 %, 78g on Day 78, 39,8g on Day 79
🌱: Final harvest on day 85, 370 g, Drying @ 15°C, 58 %, 130g on Day 88, 86,6g on day 92
💧 :
💡 : Dli: max 45 mol/m²/d
🤔: CalMag deficiency or nutrient burn and light stress, or a combination next time less Supermix and X-cel
Day 58
🌱: Buds growing dy by day
💧 : 1l, 3l SIP
💡 : Dli: 45 mol/m²/d,
🤔: Still worrying about the signs of Mg and Ca deficiency, but I think I can see improvements.
Day 56
🌱:
💧 : 2l, 3l SIP
💡 : Dli: 45 mol/m²/d,
🤔: Still worrying about the signs of Mg and Ca deficiency. Therefore I did add more Supermix, it has Mg too and Vitasol which has Mg & Ca
Day 54
🌱:
💧 : 1l, 3l SIP, added a lttle Vitasol to the 1l
💡 : Dli: 45 mol/m²/d,
🤔: I think the optimization of the DIY SIP helped. The fabric pot sucks the water much higher into the root ball. I replaced the wicks with sponge cloth strips and the plant granules with a sponge cloth. Now the pot stands directly on the sponge cloth.
