Summertime 2024

~ 11th week ~ Afghan, Melody and Opium are ready for harvest. The buds are huge and heavy, so much so that the stems bend under their weight. Most of the hairs have turned brown, although new flowers are still appearing. All flowers, even the lowest located ones, are covered with a thick layer of shiny resin. The entire main trunk, along with the side stems and the underside of the leaves, are purple. Yesterday i preliminary manicured them to make the harvest easier. Since the day before yesterday i haven't watered them at all, so that they have as little moisture as possible when harvesting. Although i could give them another week to live, but i have the feeling that the plants are calling to me "Cut me down, please cut me down now!". So i'll fulfill their request - harvest tomorrow. Euforia, Overdose and Runtz-F1 grew a few centimeters this week. The flower buds have drastically increased in mass and many new ones have appeared. Also, more and more resin appears. For them it's 8th week. The plants are healthy and look great.
