- Summertime 2024 -
This season - six different varieties (all autos) :
· Auto Melonade Runtz - by Dutch Passion - (Melody - for simplicity)
· Auto Euforia - by Dutch Passion - (Euforia - for simplicity)
· Auto Opium - by Divine Seeds - (Opium - for simplicity)
· Auto Overdose - by Divine Seeds - (Overdose - for simplicity)
· Runtz F1 Automatic - by Zamnesia - (Runtz - for simplicity)
· Auto Afghan Kush - by Seeds Mafia - (Afghan - for simplicity)
All seeds were sown directly into soil (in small half-liter pots) on the same day, at the same time - at noon, 2024-08-03.
One of each variety - six in total.
The soil were moistened every day with a small amount of clean water - about 10 ml each.
As the first sprouted Euforia on day five, then Opium a few hours later.
Melody and Afghan - on day six, and also Runtz F1 at the end of a day.
Overdose didn't germinate. After a week i sown the second - also didn't germinate. The third seed finally germinated on the sixth day.
Runtz F1 and Euforia wilted shortly after planting. So i sowed another ones - they both sprouted on the fifth day.
NOTE: I will also make a separate diary for each variety.
~ 1st week ~
Right after germination, they were planted into the target 20-liter breathable pots.
I re-used the substrate from my previous crop (a mixture of soil and coco in equal proportions with a small addition of perlite) by adding a bit of Light-Mix by Biobizz.
As a fertilizer i will use reliable HESI kit.
I also have plenty of natural compost, nettle manure and a PLAGRON set from previous season, so probably i will use them sometimes too.
During the day most plants are outside in the sunlight, but at night (or in bad weather) i usually take them under a lamp.
~ 2nd week ~
The plants are watered twice a week (about one liter).
They developed second deck of true leaves.
At present, the humidity in the room is about 70% and the temperature - around 22°C.
At the end of the week i increased the power of lamps to 40 %.
Plants are doing fine.
~ 3rd week ~
Third week passed without any interruptions.
The plants have developed a third layer of leaves and side shoots are emerging.
The humidity in the room is currently about 60% and the temperature - around 22°C.
The plants are fine.
~ 4th week ~
Another (fourth) week went smoothly.
The plants have already developed five levels of leaves, and the side branches are developing nicely too.
At the end of the week i also increased power of lamps to 60 %.
The humidity in the room is still about 60% and the temperature - around 22°C.
The plants are doing well.

~ 6th week ~
Flowering is in full swing - dense hairs form on the main trunk and on long side branches.
I increased the power of lamps to 100% and changed nutrients to flowering phase.
The plant looks healthy.
~ 7th week ~
Melody is the tallest - 85 cm right now.
Afghan is 81 cm high.
Opium - 66 cm.
They have many long side branches and bloom profusely.
Overdose is 42 cm tall.
Euforia is 38 cm tall.
Runtz F1 is the lowest - 17 cm.
All the plants look beautiful.
~ 8th week ~
Afghan, Melody and Opium bloom profusely - more and more long-haired flowers appear on long branches.
Drops of resin are visible to the naked eye - nice view.
They have a lot of appetite now, so i water them every second day, one liter.
Thay look excellent.
For Euforia, Overdose and Runtz F1 - it is 5th week.
At the beginning of this week, first signs of flowering appears - some hair on top and nodes.
They look nice and healthy.
~ 9th week ~
Afghan, Melody and Opium have stopped growing taller, but are developing wider and sideways.
Some flower hairs started turning red, and new flowers keep coming.
The larger leaves began to turn yellow with the addition of purple - a sign of autumn.
The plants are beautiful and healthy.
For Euforia, Overdose and Runtz F1 - it's 6th week.
They are already in full bloom and have many long side branches.
They also look beautiful.
~ 10th week ~
I used a natural pest control last week (just in case).
Afghan, Melody and Opium are almost ripe.
The buds drastically gained mass, and the half of hair are red, but new flowers still keep coming.
The larger leaves fell off and i picked off the yellowed ones.
The plants are a bit over-fertilized unfortunately, but looks fine.
I stopped fertilizing them, giving only clear water.
Harvest is coming - next week maybe (?)
For Euforia, Overdose and Runtz F1 - it's 7th week.
Runtz F1 is half meter high, but is stocky and very bushy.
Euforia is taller and also bushy.
Overdose is very tall and have very long side branches.
New, abundant flower buds are still arriving.
Drops of resin are visible to the naked eye.
They bloom beautifully and look excellent.
~ 11th week ~
Afghan, Melody and Opium are ready for harvest.
The buds are huge and heavy, so much so that the stems bend under their weight.
Most of the hairs have turned brown, although new flowers are still appearing.
All flowers, even the lowest located ones, are covered with a thick layer of shiny resin.
The entire main trunk, along with the side stems and the underside of the leaves, are purple.
Yesterday i preliminary manicured them to make the harvest easier.
Since the day before yesterday i haven't watered them at all, so that they have as little moisture as possible when harvesting.
Although i could give them another week to live, but i have the feeling that the plants are calling to me "Cut me down, please cut me down now!".
So i'll fulfill their request - harvest tomorrow.
Euforia, Overdose and Runtz-F1 grew a few centimeters this week.
The flower buds have drastically increased in mass and many new ones have appeared.
Also, more and more resin appears.
For them it's 8th week.
The plants are healthy and look great.
