Week 5 2024-10-29 to 2024-11-04 This past week saw 12.5 inches of rain in my area, bringing the humidity levels and the creeks rising. The grow room and tents had an inch of water in the floor. I have started the application of colloidal silver to one of the Chemdawg plants in the 2x4 tent with 1 gallon cloth pots. My intention is to produce both seed, and gather pollen for later use from this tent. 10-31 Day 45 Veg: Moved 3g (6 plants) and 5g (4 plants) cloth pots to 5x5x6 tent w/ two SF4000 lights. Moved 1g cloth pots to 4x2x5 tent w/ single Viparspecta P2000 light. These plants will be used to produce feminized seed. Moved the Mother and Sister plants to 5x5x6 tent with single SF4000 light. Bottom Feed Bloom Feed mix* at 3q each. 11-01 Day 46 Veg: 2nd topping and LST on 1g/3g/5g pots 11-02 Day: 47 Veg: 5g pots - 1/2 gal Heavy Veg Feed (Top), 1/2 gal Heavy Veg Feed (Bottom) for 1g Heavy Veg Feed 3g pots - 1q Heavy Veg Feed (Top), 1q Heavy Veg Feed (Bottom) Mother & Sister: 1g Bloom Feed* split between top and bottom. *Bloom Feed Mix General Hydroponics MicroFlora Series (3 part nutrient system) with CAL-MAG 6 Gallons Water 30ml CAL-MAG (Botanicare) 60ml FloraMicro 30ml FloraGrow 90ml FloraBloom

@popcornsutton, In hind-sight, I think I should have gone with a couple of 4x8 tents. Most accessories for a 5x5 don't quite fit right, like a trellis net, or (in this case) a good light. I find it funny that SpiderFarmer recommended the SF4000 with the SpiderFarmer 5x5 tent. They were just coming out with their bar-style designs that actually run almost wall-to-wall in a 4x4. I can up the LUX on the SF 4000 by placing it closer to the plants, but I have noticed it tends to create the peaked tops on the buds. I call it pig-tailing. You know, when the top of the bud starts getting long and skinny .

Looking good. What percentage is your lamp at 50% 75% ?

@popcornsutton, Sorry for the late reply. These lamps will max out at around 60k LUX at 100%. I'm actually running two of the SF4000 lights in one of the 5x5 tents. I have also looked at changing my lighting to the Spider Farmer G or SE series bar-style lights. It seems they are more popular among many of the successful growers I follow on social media. The SF4000 lights would be perfect for a 4x4, but not quite good enough (in my opinion) for the 5x5 tents. They will have to do for now, since the upgrade for both tents would be around fifteen hundred.

Great grow! Cover top soil with cutten grass, wood chips, any thing organic to increasy root, maximize the potencial of your soil !! Anyhting that make the top moist, and slow release anything or make a home for the microorganisms....

@Psilocubensis, You would do this with Coco Coir? I try not to add anything that might bring in disease or pests from outside. I also use cloth pots to keep the soil well drained. Coco Coir should be treated as Hydroponic in the sense that you are maintaining the nutrient balance and PPM ratios, testing the excess water/feed that flows through the cloth pots, into the tray.
