It's time to start the next growing season, and this round, I am to make my life as difficult as possible by growing five different cultivars in the same tent. I'm sure it will be a struggle to maintain an even canopy, but hey, we improve as growers by facing challenges and (hopefully) overcoming them.
I will keep a separate diary for each cultivar, and this diary will feature Amulet OG from Dark Owl Seeds.

Dark Owl Seeds - Amulet OG
Lineage: Sour Stomper x Marathon OG Auto F3
Genetics : Hybrid
Flowering Time: 75 Days from Sprout
Yield: 2-4 ounces
Amulet OG by Dark Owl Seeds / Night Owl Seeds is the latest OG hybrid that builds on the exciting legacy that the Marathon OG created; this is part of the untested limited range of crosses from J and Daz!
The Amulet OG is Dark Owl Seeds attempt at producing an auto-flowering seed version of that Grape Stomper that Daz from Night Owl Seeds fell in love with when she first started making waves. Amulet OG's mother is the Sour Stomper, which helped rekindle the love he initially had for all types of Grape Stomper crosses; the Sour Stomper was an exact dead ringer for the Sour Stomper used in the 91 Grapes. Sour Somper was bred for funk and her potent greasy, grape-tinged resin.
The mother has crazy deep hues of purple that accentuate and emphasise the frost with added visual appeal to compliment her intense aromas optimally. The pollen donor is the Marathon OG Auto F3, which was a selection taken from 12 seeds, selected for her sensational gassy OG Lemon funk with incredible structure and super high resin production, in general, but especially for a reversal.
Dark Owl Seeds suggests that you should find medium to large plants covered in loud OG Grape resin that would make excellent extracts and finish after around 75 days from the initial sprout.
Dark Owl Seeds is a Co-Op effort between Night Owl Seeds and Dark Horse Genetics, making for a legendary fusion of genetics that leads to some of the best autoflowering strains ever bred.

I started, as I usually do, by soaking the seed overnight in a glass of water with mycorrhiza, kelp powder, and fulvic acid.
The next day, the seed was planted in a Root Riot plug.
Forty-eight hours later, we had germination.
Boom! We are on the way :)
The first week is done without much to report.
I was busy with work this week, so I waited longer before transplanting her into her final pot. Because she had stretched a bit, I planted her deeper than usual.
I left her alone for the rest of the week and let her do her thing.
The week has been uneventful, but she looks great—strong, vibrant, and healthy.
Earlier this week, I prepared some sprouted seed tea (SST) by sprouting 10 grams of barley seeds, 10 grams of corn, and 5 grams of alfalfa seed. I blitzed everything together in a blender with fulvic acid and some kelp meal. I then gave her one liter of SST.
That's all I did this week.
VPD: 0.8
DLI: 22
We're at the end of the third week, and she looks great and is starting to show signs of pre-flower
I had COVID this week, so I more or less ignored the grow the entire week, but I had to start training her.
I should have started a few days earlier as she had grown quite a bit, but hey, better late than never.
VPD: 0.8-1.0
DLI: 30
She is looking fantastic - genetics going brrrrrrr!
The final week of vegetation has passed, and she is now truly in flower.
I continued doing LST and added a watering system and a camera in the tent, as I'm off on vacation tomorrow.
I returned home a few days ago after a ten-day vacation trip and found that she had increased a lot in size and bulk.
She has some yellow leaf tips, which I suspect may be because of a high pH in the water reservoir. I know many people say that you don't need to care about pH in soil, but I've found that it can become an issue when you grow in lower soil volumes. I'll keep my eyes on her while paying attention to the pH.
I did some additional LST, which is late considering she is well into flower, but I wanted to open her up a bit more. I also did a very slight defoliation.
The DLI is around 45, so she is getting plenty of light to help her stack her colas.
I'm excited to see how she will develop, considering her sugar leaves are already getting coated with trichomes.
Another week has passed in the tent.
Earlier in the week, I brewed and fed her a compost tea from worm castings, insect frass, basalt, lime, kelp, dolomite, molasses, epsom salt, fulvic acid, and malted barley.
She looks great, and I have already started seeing some senescence in some lower leaves. If I were to guess, I'd say she should be done in about three weeks.
I removed a few leaves to increase light penetration and airflow.
Senescence is in full swing! Her leaves are yellowing and shriveling at a surprising speed.
Her buds are still relatively skinny, but we still have two-three weeks to go. So we'll see. In any case, there's less risk of botrytis with less chonky buds.
We're on the homestretch, and all I do is to give her water. She is now drinking less, which makes sense as she is losing biomass and transpiring less.
She smells sweet citrus and fuel. If you want to be poetic about it, it's like a small diesel spill in the middle of an Orange orchard. There's also some pear smell, way in the background.
Another uneventful week has passed.
I water every few days whenever the soil moisture drops low and remove leaves as they fade. That's it.
It's only a waiting game at this point.
She has lost almost all fan leaves, and we're approaching the end.
I had a first peak at the trichomes; most are milky, although there are a few amber here and there.
I'll let her go for another week before the chop.
Boom! Touchdown.
After 11 weeks, I decided enough was enough and chopped her. I removed a few fan leaves before hanging her to dry, but most were already gone. It'll be a breeze to trim her.
I converted my small tent into a drying tent as I didn't want to hang her together with the CBD girl due to her budrot.
The Inkbird controller in the tent will maintain around 60% humidity and temps should be low due to the time of year.
Now we wait.
I left her drying for 12 days. Unfortunately, her terps lost their orange (pure Sunkist) terps and she now has a more general citrus/fruitness aroma. It's still nice, but not as unique.
The trim was a piece of cake since most fan leaves were already gone.
Her buds are on the smaller side but rock-hard and dry to the touch.
She dumps! I had a good pile of kief at the bottom of the trim bin. She probably does great for washing or dry-sifting. I only pressed some flower so far, but the rosin was terrific.
Overall, this was a smooth grow. Besides a bit of training, I didn't do much. Perfect for a lazy stoner like me.
