Wow I can't believe we are at Day 61 from seed already! The girls are coming along very nicely, good size buds and a nice aroma already. The front two are ahead of the back two by 5-7 days it seems, already heavily frosted while back two are still fattening up. Might mean a bigger harvest off the back two with the longer flowering time 🤞. I notice that with autos, sometimes one or two out of four will finish 5 days ahead of the others. One of the reasons I'm glad to have a seperate drying tent.
Lowered the lights a bit to raise the umol/s up to 750-800. Otherwise just a light defoliation on the girls second day of the week, maybe 30 leaves total with the back two losing more than the front two. Lots of airflow now and not having any issues keeping humidity down, has been 58-59% but will lower to 55% for the last few weeks. With higher temps I'm still hitting my VPD target of 1.0 so not too worried. I've flowered plants at 60% right through to finish before without issues, just need a lot of air exchange and flow through the canopy. Exactly why I have fan above and below canopy and extractor always running. Can't wait to get these girls finished up and sampled! Last few weeks are always the longest hahaha.
Lights 15" @ 750-800 umol/s
UV 1 hour per day
Water 32L every three days
6" Exhaust @ 40%
4" Intake @ 60%
6" oscillating fan @ 50%
damn brother, sooner or later you're gonna spot a tiger in that mf jungle!
looking nice as always, something to strive for, although.. me going into automated drip shit stuff? maybe in a few years 😂
@ironf1st, thanks dude! I have noticed a huge difference since switching to the AutoPots, especially with auto strains. No more guessing how hungry or thirsty they are, they just drink as needed. No fancy pumps or drip emitters, just plain easy gravity feed bottom watering. Although the air domes help (about 30% more yield) they aren't a needed if want to keep the watering system power free. Now it's just up to me to keep raising the lights to keep up with the plant growth haha
They are looking beautiful my friend, and yes, if you'd asked me, I would've said, their growth is slowed down due to the defoliation, that's why I would rather prune them a little bit every couple of days through the grow, automatics are really finicky when it comes to handling stress like that. I have noticed it with the white haze automatic my friend gave me, my first automatic I had, I just Pruned her carefully, bit by bit, it grew much bigger than the one I have in there right now. They get shocked very easily. Not a fan of autos tbh. But still, yours look beautiful. Good luck on the final phase my friend!
