Plopped the Seed into a glass of Water for 24 hours, then transplanted into a damp Rokwool cube in a 300mL Paper cup with used soil ammended with Micorryzha and Alfa-Boost.
After 48h of Stagnation I went looking for progress, she managed to wedge herself sideways in the Rockwool... I decided to give her a helping hand. I hope it was the right decision.
If she doesn't make it I have 6 other tries, where I will use other germination methods. This one worked well with 8 out of 9 Auto Seeds.
Sadly she failed and i learned a bit.
The next Seed sat in Water for 24h and in a bag with a damp Papertowel for 48h and has developed a Taproot of 6mm.
It was transferred into a new Rockwool cube at the 19th October 2024. Now i have to be patient... my previous Autos were definitely faster.
Second one is doing way better with the Taproot forming before transplanting into the Rockwool.
Timer is Time in Growingmedia.
Time is flying by, this Weekend she will be uppotted.
Uppotted in a Lechuza Balconera 50 on 9th Novembre 2024.
She seems to like the new ground, was a bit sad this morning but recovered til the evening Photo.
And she is taking off, so far she was a nice Plant for a first Photo.
Timer is time in growing medium.
She is a lot slower compared to my previous autos, but it is a relaxed learning experience.
I am training her lightly to grow a few branches out to collect cuttings.
Took off a few Fanleaves at the End of this Week to give the Branches a bit more Light.
She is making a lot of Branches which grew a lot after getting more light.
Took a Cutting, dipped it in Water and then Rootinghormones. Then it was poked into a Rockwool Cube and set on wet perlite.
The small tent was getting crowded, this weekend I will finally be able to test a few other cloning technics.
I only watered her 3 times the last 2 weeks, the Balconera is a godsend for situations where you have to neglect the poor plants.
With the Waterreservoire and the Soilstaggering she seems to even like the Situation.
She is really forgiving.
The two cuttings are doing ok, the first one was put into a Vase, because the stem was rotting. Then a root began to grow and now she's on her second chance😅
The Clones are looking good and are growing, but no Roots on the new ones and only a stub on the old one. Hope that changes until Xmas.
Still hoping on Rootformation on the cuttings, changed the setup a little bit.
Ok, calling the mother a thriving plant would be an understatement.
It grows realy well and takes no offense in the taking of limbs.
Said mimbs are doing well, but still dont have any roots... puzzling.
The small one is back in a Rockwool Cube.
Next test will be replanting one of the aquaponic ones into Soil
and taking a new one direktly into Soil.
Finally an update...
The waterresorvoire is a godsend, I water her every 5 to 7 days.
The small one is one of her mainbranches I tested with, another clone was given to a more experienced grower for testing and possible crossing experiments.
After the Eternity Grow I will send the daughter into Bloom.
The mother was heavily debranched and defoliated, ca. 50cm hight was cut back 2 weeks prior to the photo.
She is really resiliant!!!
"Thank you for choosing our beloved THCV to start your first grow diary on this platform 🤗. We wish you great enjoyment in growing her and send you intense 'orange' vibes 😉, Kannabia Team 🧡
@Kannabia, It will be an interesting journey, since it is of medical interest to me. I hope these strains with helpful cannabinoids will get a lot more traction than those with only THC and/or CBD.
