Reviews. Nutrient
Great line of nutrients to use as a newbie. It was really hard to mess things up. I did cause some burn early on but that was my fault for feeding too soon and using the wrong soil initially. I will probably use these again for my next grow before switching to something else.
Not really sure if or how it helped as it is my first time growing and nothing to compare to but it definitely did not cause harm. Will use again.
I liked this a lot. Colas really swelled up nicely shortly after starting Cha Ching. Probably will opt to try an organic alternative next time around but I'll definitely use this again in the future. It'll last for years.

This was an awesome learning experience and can't wait to start the next cycle. The strain was very resistant to damage and disease. Not happy about the description for these Auto seeds on growers choice website. They indicated no switch needed but after 8 weeks of veg I had to flip. I screwed things up quite early on and managed to keep things going without a hitch right until the end. Due to an unplanned trip I had to harvest about a week or so early but I am still very pleased with the quality and quantity of the harvest. The first batch in harvested last week I smoked yesterday and although it still had a grassy smell to it, it smoked quite nicely and a very nice high. The latest batch and final from the plant smell much better and will have lots of time to cure before I smoke it. I will update with a few more pics and final dry weight when available.

Supposed to be an autoflower strain. This is week 8 and I don't know if I see any signs of flowering or not. I just switched to flower nutes anyway for one watering to see if I can jump start it. I have a photo seedling in the room so don't want to switch to 12/12 yet.

Bad news bro, no signs of flower, it's ready to flower but no signs of flower , probably a photo which was mislabeled by the seedbank or the breeder. Bad news : you'll need to switch to flower. I will say though just because you're in 12/12 doesn't mean a seedling will suddenly flower , after all there is such a thing as a technique called 12/12 from seed - so.switch away when you feel comfortable. This plant is looking healthy and showing preflowers meaning it's ready to flower . Great first grow actually : every grow has some sort of issue and yours has this random pretty rare issue but you're doing a great job growing so... That's a plus ! Hope this helps ! 🚀

I noticed that a couple of leaves have some yellowing on the edges . Im feeding her less than half the recommended strength of nutes. In the last pic above. Any suggestions on what might be causing it?

Where is that discoloration on the plant? Top, bottom, or middle? It doesn't really look like much to worry about. With how dark the leaves are elsewhere I would imagine its not a nitrogen deficiency. It could just be a weird defect that happened to crop up. The first thing I would do would be to check the runoff ph or make a soil slurry and check its ph to make sure it is not some sort of ph issue. If your ph is good I would probably just let it ride for now and see if it gets any worse. It is just at such an early progression that it is really hard to identify.

How do I know when it's time to add Cha Ching? Was going to do it for one week, then flush for two weeks but have no clue when to start. 5th week of flower this week

Your plants are ready to start with it , its supposed to be from the 5th week on but some people start it at week 4 that really is a personal choice though . This nutrient runs all the way till your last week before you decide you wanna flush . One thing that I would recommend tho is that you don't give cha ching every watering try and do it every 2nd or 3rd watering this way you can ensure your ladies suck up most of whats there before adding new stuff into the medium . To me this product isnt organic so I would probly recommend a good flushing in order to take out all the chem based nutrients you have added over time . If your confident that its organic then you dont have to flush you can use the product right till the end . I hope this information helps you understand the when you can start using the product "Cha Ching" and when its recommended to start using it . -Happy Growing!

@experimentgreen thanks. Went ahead and used it at a quarter strength. May just go with the one dose possibly a 2nd. I see a lot of people say it's strong and not to use it with every feeding as @mrs_larimar stated also. Definitely going to flush as I'll be making some edibles.

@Gteh420, sometimes it gets pretty difficult to sort through all the bullshit...cannabis is such a big money business and I get tired of having to find out if the nutrient companies and light companies and on are actually reliable and credible. So many wild claims that aren't accurate and no one to regulate them.😕
Experimentgreen

@Gteh420, totally. I didnt use the miracle grow stuff but i thought it was insane in the similarity. This summer I'm going to try to piece together all the elements myself from the labels and make my own top dressing or nutrient pack to add in the soil. It's wild how much cheaper it is, and then I can somewhat guarantee it's using organic material and if it isn't i can only blame myself lol.

@Experimentgreen, ya definitely fishy. Organic all the way next time

Hi gteh420, in my opinion the stuff got to much Nitrogen, there are other P and k boosters that will do a safer job, happy flowering

@Gteh420, there are other companies other then Green planet that will provide you with organic nutrients but i honestly find GP preforms really well and its super kick ass in price . the medi one kit that comes with the 5 , 500ml bottles is 64.99 CND thats not bad for 500 ml bottles of a base and 4 adds :) they have a lot of products its well worth it to check them out man mygreenplanet.com

@The_Projexx, awesome thanks. Will check that out on the next run . Would definitely like to keep it organic if I can.

@Gteh420, and in terms of a better system for your next grow , try green planets system they sells starter kits that will give you your main nutrient plus 4-5 additives depending on the kit you choose . The medi one kit is nice , it comes with your base nutrient Medi One , then 4 adds Rezin , Liquid Weight , Massive Bloom and Ocean Magic . They are all organic too :)

@souljasam thanks. The leaves are near the top probably 2nd node down from one of the branches. I'll check to make sure it isn't spreading and check the pH as well. I haven't been checking pH at all since the 4th week or so. Not adding pH down either
Gteh420
Gteh420
@souljasam, just a few leaves. Like 3 or 4 only. All on the same node. Will pick up a digital meter for sure as maybe I'm reading the colours wrong. I'm using half strength nutes. 3ml/gal of calmag and 10ml/gal of the bloom. In veg I was using same calmag and 10ml of botanicare grow
souljasam
souljasam
@Gteh420, spend $50 and get a ph meter. much more accurate and way easier to read for someone who is colorblind. That said it seems like you are doing well with the phing if it does indeed fall into the 6.0-6.5 range. I have to wonder if it is holding that ph though as that is quite the drop for just the nutrients to be doing. For example mega crop even at the highest dose I do typically only drops me from 7.0 to about 6.1 or so. I would mix up a small batch of nutes for testing the ph over time. Like maybe 1L or so. Take ph readings 2x a day for a few days and see if it is pretty stable or if it shoots up. If it stays stable then all is good and it is likely not a ph issue. The discoloration could just be an odd little thing that happened. Is it on a lot of the leaves or just a few?
Gteh420
Gteh420
@souljasam, tap water here looks to be about 8.0. After I add my nutes it's between 6 and 6.5 I'll have to check the runoff next time I water. Im colour blind too so the shades on the pH bottle are hard to tell. Have to focus lol

@CRiSPrGrow, Well I just fimmed or topped 4 different tops. The 4 tallest ones in the pic. Couldn't tell how much I pinched off. Fingers crossed. Will flip in 1 week
CRiSPrGrow
CRiSPrGrow
@Gteh420,if you top it once more you'll get 1x2+1x1 = 3 colas, top it twice to get 1x2+2x1 = 4 colas does that make sense ? Answer is : yeah top away anyway you can keep it in veg lol
Gteh420
Gteh420
@CRiSPrGrow, I hear ya. Does sound excusey. Their site says 70-80 days flowering time. I assumed when ordering that meant total time but she said until it starts flowering. https://www.growerschoiceseeds.com/shop/cannabis-seeds/auto-flowering/critical-purple-auto-flowering-feminized-cannabis-seeds/ Either way I'll switch to 12/12 next week. I already topped it once a few weeks ago. It's safe to top again now before flowering begins?

I’m sorry the timing sucks. I hope you’ve said something to Growers Choice. They’re super responsive to me, but I’ve only exchanged positive emails back and forth... if mine ends up like yours, I’m going to give them hell! Following your grow definitely helps me mentally prepare, so thanks again for reaching out!
Gteh420
Gteh420
@MissCannabitch, ya pissed me off too just because I had a photo plant that I wanted to train and veg for like 6 months to put outside in the summer. When I called them they were like, oh just flip because it's only 10% ruderalis...... Misleading but whatever lol. Because of this problem I ended up flipping the entire room. Good luck to your grow!
MissCannabitch
MissCannabitch
@Gteh420, that irritates me more because on the strain info page they say that there’s no need to flip. They seem to be as sneaky as the reviews I’m starting to find are saying! Honestly, like I said, you really are helping my grow out a lot. Thank you!! Can’t wait until your Harvest!
Gteh420
Gteh420
@MissCannabitch, thanks. Seems to be working out and growing nicely. They we're responsive to me I just think they don't inform well enough. They explained that this auto is only 10% ruderalis and that you may need to trigger flower by flipping. That's jnfo they should give up front instead of saying it'll flower automatically in X days. Maybe that's the case with most autos? Not enough experience for me yet.
