Hello everyone. 👋
Last grow did not go as planned as the Moby dick auto got some serious heat stress (I was away for 3 days, they got too dry and temperature got too high) at the beginning. I did not know this could happen but now I know and I am going to be extra careful with small seedlings from now on. She finally started growing but its too late since she an autoflower and ended up being a mini pheno.
I am starting new project and this time I am growing sativa strain bred by Barney's farm called Tangerine Dream. I am excited to see how she grows in this new mixture of 40 to 60 soil to coco mix. I am using biobizz nutrients and microbes mostly(I got some random organic seaweed extract which I am also using as a foliar spray and with watering sometimes).
Everything going according to plan. Happy little plant growing slowly but surely. She looks healthy and in a few days we're probably seeing a good amount of growth, .
She has recovered from the topping pretty well and started growing already after two days. I am going to top her again but don't know when it's the right time? Guess when she has grow a bit first.. maybe next week or so.. I will install scrog net soon but don't know when it's the right time to do that aswell. Maybe you guys can instruct me with these as I've never topped twice before or used a scrog net.
Little curling on the leafs, friend told me it's cause of too mich nitrogen so I am giving only water once every three watering. Well see if that helps. Little rust on the leaf maybe cause of nutrient build up. Hopefully that watering plain water helps with that too.
*Need help!*
Why does the leafs get rust/Brown spots?
This is my first time growing sativa dominant strain and in 60/40 coco-soil mix. So far so good although we haven't avoided all problems, she is looking healthier by day. Some rust still there bur I figured it may be the air flow which was inadequite. I now have my ventilation fan on 24/7. No more rust appears to form or atleast very little.
Update day 49
First few days of flowering behind and first pistils are visible.
Update day 54
Decided to remove the scrog net since it wasn't helping and it was hard to tie her from behind. Now I was able to spread the branches nicely so she has room to grow and flourish.
Day 61 update
Shes really starting to flower now. She looks fine, no deficiency. Increased the nute amount a bit, following the feeding schedule from BioBizz.
Moby dick will be in dark for 24h and then chop.
I am glad to see her so well. Every day I water her and give her my love. Not much else needs to be done so no more words just videos and pictures to you guys. Happy new year! ❤️
Flowers are swelling really nicely. Also giving 4ml of top-max since last week. Giving last nutrients this friday or saturday then just plain water i think altho i heard that when growing in coco you don't need to flush that long that 4-5 days will do so probably giving nutes last time this saturday.
Harvest this week (at day 64 flowering).
This stuff is really sticky and smells sweet. Already tried little bit and it gives a nice strong sativa high. Definitely could see myself growing this again.
