I am a bit late, with this report because I wasn't sure if I really want to write one. That's also the reason why I only made a few pictures the first three weeks but I will improve the report as soon as possible. As always I started the germination in paper towels, 4 of 5 seeds opened up, what was enough for my project, so I didn't put any afford into the last seed. After the seeds opened up I put them into 5 gallons fabric pots and watered the pots completely with around 1 gallon of my nutrient solution until drain was showing up.
Week 1 - seedling stage: nothing to do, as always. Just waited until the seeds came out of soil and made sure the conditions are well for the little ones.
Week 2 - seedling stage: first pictures added, beside that just gave them time
Week 3 (15.10) - veg stage is starting, now the fun begins since the girls really start to grow faster and you can notice changes every day.
Week 3 (20.10) - Watered the plants and took a bit care, removed some seedling leaves and noticed already a nice smell I really, really like - excited about it.
23.10 Implemented IPM in form of Amblyseius cucumeris and Amblyseius californicus
25.10 Topped the girls between the fourth and fifth node
27.10 They are doing well after the topping
01.11 Girls are doing well. After the first topping a week ago I did a second one, beside that I defoliated a lot so the branches get more light also I did some training for some of the branches.
02.11 They liked what I did yesterday as you can see on the pictures of that day. I will start flower end of next week.
This week I trained in form of bending and defoliated from day to day. Since they fill up the space already I changed the light cycle at 8th of november.
25.11 Nothing much to say, VPD is pretty perfect, from time to time I remove some fan leaves, beside that I have only to water and watch the buds starting to grow.
01.12 - Stretch has stopped, so I decided to change my nutrient plan and also lollipopped all of the girls during the week when I watered them. They develop really well and I look forward to see the buds growing.
29.12: Purple comes from everywhere now. Fan leaves and also the buds develop a really nice colour. The smell is still really fruity, trichomes are sticky but start to get opaque. I think in two weeks this grow will find an end.
05.01 Happy new year! The official time of bloom, regarding to the breeder, is done (8 Weeks). I checked the trichomes and still see some clear and mostly cloudy trichomes, amber isn't really shown yet so I think they will need one to two more weeks. I will reduce my nutrient scheme now, check next week for the scheme if you are interested. Beside that I reduced the Light to ~650PPFD for the last ripening process.
I harvested at 19th of January 2025.
After 12 days of drying it was time to trim the buds and put them away for further curing. Am pretty happy about the outcome, it's a bit more then 1 gramm per watt . For the first run with this setup am super confident that I can improve this numbers a bit. For the next run I plan to improve the usage of the space, since there were a lot of gaps between the plants within this grow. I think I will go into a ScrOG run next time.
Thanks for visiting. So long - Fil!
