Tangerine auto freebie from seed city I think.
My roommate has the other banana purple punch. He's growing it in soil tho. All the rest are in 5 gal coco perlite mix from mother earth.
I germinated them all in peat pellets and they all seemed to pop in 2 days These pictures are from 2 days ago.
I missed a week. I hate doing that.
Massive growth.
The battle of the purple punches is advantage soil at the moment. Coco version is in transition to flower it looks like while the soil has got cute little buds already. Soil BPP looks to have too much nitrogen I think. I believe he watered it a bit extra to try and get some run off.
The Tangerine is the lankiest. Had to tie her down a bit.
The coco are all getting week 1 flower nutes at the moment. They are starting to get a bit thirsty in these 5g pots. I'm gonna bump watering up to every 2 days.
Soil Banana Purple Punch is 15" now. I think he should top dress this for extra flower nutrients by now but I don't have too much soil experience.
Coco Banana Purple Punch appears to be a couple weeks behind soil for bud development. It is 12" tall. This one needs some leaf thinning after the stretch is done.
Tre Lime Sorbetto Is 13" tall. Looking better today after the new feed. Giving them 2nd week of flower green planet medi one schedule.
Tangerine is very stretchy. Used some bud training clips on her to help. This one is 14" tall with the clips on to balance her canopy.
The lime is growing so strange. Crazy amount of long pistils or maybe they're long skinny leaves. I stretched it out with some bud training clips. It is stretching out like crazy. It is also the thirstiest plant and will look all sad and droopy if you wait 2 days to water.
Coco BPP doesn't wanna stretch. Had to use some clips on her to open it up. Soil bpp looks great and has some purple leaves.
The two Banana Purple Punch could not look any more different. Coco one us getting gooey while the soil one us completely covered in orange hairs now and dark buds.
Harvested at almost 14 weeks I think. All plants at the same time. They got a bit mixed up some of the buds during bagging.
End result: 2 x 1/2lb grove bags stuffed full + 3 1L Mason jars.
Tre lime buds were so many but skinny. Sour smell.
Tangerine buds were good and chunky. Sour smell. 3rd highest yield.
Soil Banana Purple Punch filled up 1L Mason jar only. Dark buds though. Smells sweet I guess.
Coco Banana Purple Punch was close in weight to tre lime. Thick chunky crystal covered buds. Looks and smells amazing.
They've been curing for 4 days now only. Jars i have to burp everyday and take the buds out. The grove bags I took a look to check and they are doing just fine. I'll leave them for a month but will definitely steal bud a from the jars. The dry took only 4 days but I didn't do a very good job with controlling humidity.
