It’s NYC Diesel & Tangerine Dream for this run. 1 of each started from seed on 1/16/2019. Let’s see what we can do! Happy Growing everyone ✌️
Update** 1/19/19 official day 1 for both plants. Both seeds germinated and sprouted within 72 hours.
This week was a breeze! The girls are growing fast and healthy and the genetics seem solid so far. Everything is looking great 👍. Happy growing everyone!
2-2-19 Start of week 3
2-4-19 A few days into this week and the girls couldn't be happier. Both plants are still about exact in size and growth. This is my first run with Barney's farm and so far im seeing some quality beans 👍. I'll keep y'all posted as we go. Happy growing everyone !
2-6-19 Both plants have been growing vigorously so I started LST. I gave each main stem a ponytail..( I use pipe cleaners), allowing the lower shoots to grab more light and eventually become tops.Both girls responded immediately with their leaves and newly exposed shoots praying towards the center of my lights... just what I wanna see.. In a few days I will then bend and tie down the same main stems on both to further our LST
2/12/19 and we are 4 days into week # 4 .. Awesome growth so far this week. Plants have responded wonderfully to the LST all lowers nodes are now even with the main top and now these girls are showing preflowers and I can tell that they are getting ready to hit their flowering stretch. Also just a side note I moved the grow into my closet simply for the bigger space. Will probably start a few photoperiod strains in there soon.
2/15/19 Day 27 Update** Switched out the LED and put in HPS will use just hps until harvest. I was going to use both lights but decided against it simply for the excess heat in my space from an unneeded amount of light.The girls look nice and healthy and are ready to really start stretching as we go into flower. Also I just started a Blueberry Fem (photoperiod) from canuk seeds and will start a separate diary on that. And As always happy growing everybody !! ✌️🤙😁
Lush green happy healthy plants as we go into flower👌 LST’d these girls into the exact shape I was looking for and now I’m just gonna let these beautiful ladies grow out some nice big buds👏. Happy growing everyone!! ✌️
2/23/19.. Start of week 6 💪😁👍
2/27/19... Day 40 and the the ladies are looking perfect. I'm thinking this will be quite a nice harvest from these two girls . The Blueberry from Canuks is looking great as well and is loving the ocean forest soil.
Finally starting to smell that heavenly smell and seeing budlets exploding everywhere. Both girls were defoliated a little at a time over the past week to expose any prime bud sites. So far both strains have been lovely and easy to grow as long as Nutes are fairly light. Will keep updates through the week and as always happy growing everyone!😊🤙
3/10/2019. Start of week 8 and the Tangerine Dream is fattening up it’s buds and kicking out more frost every day. Even though the NYC Diesel is exactly the same age as the Tangerine Dream it looks about a week behind in flower but it’s also a far bigger plant and will definitely take longer to flower out. Final defoliation was done to both girls. I willl update through the week as always . Happy growing everyone ✌️!!!
3/15/2019.. The tangerine dream is really beefing up her buds this week. The room smells like sweet orange candy mixed with skunk fuel from the nyc diesel. For sure this tangerine dream is gonna be a very frosty pheno. The nyc diesel is finally starting to really grow out it’s bud sights so really not much to report on her. Overall everything is looks perfect with both girls. 👍
3/17/2019.. Strart of week 9. Day 58. : The Tangerine Dream is looking so dank. I can’t believe the resin production on her. Im thinking this week she will really start darkening those pistils. The smell of my grow room is mouthwatering 😋!!!
3/23/2019: Day 67 for these girls and they’re looking quite happy 😊
3/25/2019. Woke up this morning and checked on the plants and was pleasantly surprised by a dank grapey gas smell the NYC Diesel is giving off now. 🍇 ⛽️ Should be in for some nice smelling buds 👌
@Joehydro, well cheers then dude.👊 I’m trying to max out my own indoor system with what’s the most manageable in combo with most productive. I still grow in coco indoors as well but most of my soil grows will be taking place outside👍. So far - at least dwc of any sort saves on watering and run off cleanup. Big bonus there so far👍
@TheBudWhisperer,I used to grow in coco both organic and also with bottled nutes. I do currently have a girl in soil as well. But in my personal opinion i just feel like hydro gives faster and stronger growth all around. I actually wanna build an RDWC system for the next grow , probably a 6 site system.
@TheBudWhisperer,oh no my man that sucks!! But hey ain’t no big deal right, there’s always more beans to pop. Sucks tho when ur excited about certain beans and they don’t pop.. I hate that 😢
