We’ve reached the end of our Grow with the Gorill Glue Auto. Overall, I made two mistakes. The first was stress training it at the beginning of flowering, which didn’t allow enough time for proper recovery. The second mistake was overfeeding it with a flowering tea, which caused the leaves to turn a dark black/brown instead of the healthy dark green they should have been.
That said, I’m very happy with this grow. I think it’s a solid first attempt at an auto, especially since I’m more experienced with photoperiod plants. Autos are definitely a different challenge—they’re much bushier and have a more intense growth spurt during vegetation.
One key takeaway is to keep your grow environment in check, as the dense bushiness of this plant can make it more prone to mould.
She’s currently curing, and I’ll share pictures along with the final dried weight soon.
