Everything going well despite a small stripe on one leaf, maybe some kind of fly inside the tent because of the high temps (here it’s summer now). I’ll try to put a yellow trap asap. Entering week 2 nice and healthy!
Well, after a bit of heat stress on the first week I started adding rhino skin on every feed. Still not 100% but holy cow she’s groing big and super healthy! So far my biggest auto for only 2 weeks! Wasn’t expecting to achieve a 5th top on day 14, but here she is!
After her topping on Day 14, she didn’t stop growing fast, top branches showing much more dominance than lower ones, probably they will catch up during the early flowering stretch. Most of the LST done wasn’t just to keep the canopy flat, but to create a nice distance between each branch so light can penetrate better during flowering.
Increased a bit more base nutrients and Calimagic, saw just a start of deficiency on the older and lower fan leaves, but everything else is just fine! Due to rhinoskin early addition, her branches are super strong, soon I’ll be incapable of training her.
So far, first pistils showing up as expected (11 week strain), probably on full flowering at the end of next week!
Finishing the vegetative stage right now, really satisfied with her size, almost taking the whole tent (2x2ft). Leaving her to get some height and keeping the LST just to make a few adjustments on distances between bud sites. She’ll probably double her size in the next 1-2weeks.
Still not on full flowering, lots of vegetative growth Removing like 20 leaves every 3 days for better air flow and to uncover bud sites.
Saw a start of Mg deficiency on the oldest leaves, nothing to worry about so far! Starting Big bud next week and maybe lowering .5 mL/L base nutes to reduce N.
Now at full flowering! Was expecting a good stretch this week, but got lots of pistils instead (not complaining) :) Next week we’ll have the final answer if she’s going a bit taller or short and very bushy!
Added big bud and bud candy at low concentration and also lowered base nutes to reduce a bit of N. Still a deep green color on most leaves and a bit of yellowing on the older ones. Overall, a very healthy girl!
That week was really bad, couldn’t give her enough attention, and when I took a close look at her, saw a bunch of problems.
First, as I suspected, was feeding her too much nitrogen, even reducing base nutes down to 0.5mL/L, got some clawing in new leafs. That said, gave her plain ph’Ed water, runoff was ok at 6, new leaves growing flat and healthy. Next watering, base at 0.5mL/L and again, clawing, but this time with lower leafs turning yellow in 1 day, lost about 10 leafs and plenty more to die.
Right now at the end of the week, figured out what was happening, the bottle of Sensi bloom A was pretty much done, there was like 20ml on the bottom, but a lot of “mud”, which was increasing the nitrogen concentration by a lot. Now, she’s taking only plain water until the nitrogen toxicity is controlled, then I’ll start a new bottle of Sensi bloom.
Enough of bad news, the buds still grew a bit, and starting to get frosty! Hopping for a good recovery, she still got mostly of top leafs green and healthy :)
And a tip: always shake your nutes so they don’t build up a concentrated mud at the bottom! This could literally killed her in a few more days.
After a bumpy week 6, a full bud fattening week 7, the smell is taking the whole house! Fully recovered from last week, keeping base nutes low at 0.5~1mL/L and added Nirvana. Probably removing big bud now and starting overdrive for week 8 until flush and harvest.
Overall she’s doing great and probably finishing around week 10-11.
Now, the most boring part of every grow, watching those beautiful buds growing slowly and maturing while the smell keeps teasing my nose harder :(
Jokes apart, there isn’t much to do, watering every other day and checking also for amber trichs! When I see the first couple of amber trichs, I’ll start to feed her just plain water for 10-15 days. Trichs right now are 50/50 clear/milky, tried to take some shoots, hope it’s visible :)
Nothing special this week, everything just going as it should. A tiny little problem was: weather. She went thru some high temps for maybe 4h (up to 35C), took a bit more of water than normal and looked wasted that day, but on next day she was just fine!
Now entering her final umpf, leaves starting to yellow everywhere, most pistils are brown, but no sign of amber trichs! Right now >90% are cloudy (zoom in), still giving her feed for more 3-4 days and then just plain water for more 10-14 days. Maybe I’ll get 10-20% amber in the end, which is just fine for me :)
She’s getting ready for the chop! Packed up a bit more weight as some branches started to twist and fall, solved with some disposable chopsticks and imagination haha :3
It’s been 7 days since I started to feed her only plain water, probably extending to 14 before harvest, totalizing 77 days. Last trich photos were taken around day 67-68, still almost none amber trichs, some strains show it, others don’t, I’m going with the second as most fan leaves are yellow and pistils brown and curled in.
amazing result, i'm growing the same strain so i'll try and follow your grow too ... she's doing so well ! if i do half as well in 2 weeks i'm golden, congrats !
@CRiSPrGrow, Thanks a lot bro! I wasn’t expecting her to grow so fast as well, but a pleasant surprise for sure!! Good luck with your girl, seeing your last grows, she’s in good hands!
