Week 3 Review (Day 15 - Day 20)
This week was marked by significant efforts to stabilize environmental conditions and support plant growth. The plant has shown slow but steady development, and I made several key adjustments to maintain a healthy setup.
Key Nutrient Adjustments:
Nutrient Solution: Added 1 mL each of Sensi Grow A and B for a balanced nutrient mix.
Supplements: Included 2 mL of Voodoo Juice for root health and 2 mL of B-52 to strengthen the plant.
pH Management: Faced challenges with pH levels rising to 7.0 each evening, requiring daily pH down adjustments to bring it back to 6.0, which is crucial for nutrient absorption.
Environmental Conditions:
Lighting Schedule: Continued with 20 hours of light and 4 hours of darkness. Despite the plant's small size, high light exposure was maintained to encourage growth.
Humidity and Temperature: Humidity was regulated between 65% - 75%, and the temperature was kept stable between 21°C and 25°C.
PPM Levels: The nutrient concentration varied between 106 and 155 PPM throughout the week, indicating controlled but sufficient feeding.
Observations:
Plant Growth: The plant remains small but has shown some development. The leaves have experienced minor issues, likely due to earlier pH fluctuations.
Root Development: A visible root was noted, suggesting some progress in root health.
Concerns: Leaf health and slow growth remain concerns, but steps were taken to address these.
Steps Taken:
1. Adjusted pH down each evening to maintain a consistent level of 6.0.
2. Replaced and prepared a fresh nutrient solution while closely monitoring PPM levels.
3. Maintained stable humidity and temperature settings to minimize plant stress.
Goals for Next Week:
Continue to monitor pH daily and make adjustments as necessary.
Watch for signs of recovery and improved leaf health.
Ensure that environmental conditions remain stable, with no drastic fluctuations.
