Had some extra tents opened and decided to pop a few more beans. This will be 100% organic with my own super soil that I created, soy amino acid, fish amino acid that I made and Roots organics during veg
Was on vacation so I had someone watch it and water it lightly hence why its still in the solo. This plant is 2 weeks from germination but rather small with very short node spacing, I'm going to move it out the solo tomorrow when my pots arrive and hopefully she takes off then with the nutes.
A big improvement from being in the solo cup, I'll probably have to remove all the fan leaves with this plant as it appears already that its determined to grow into a bush. Those type of plants always seem to shine when it starts to stretch sorta like Anesia Sleepy Joe. Its starting the 5th node and I'll top it down to the 4th once it reaches its 6th node
Not feeling how she's been growing from the start and against better judgment I shouldn't have topped this plant but so be it. Organic isn't going to get her to catch up so I'm going to move her to synthetic nutes and see if that can help with some more growth. I'd rather not veg for longer than 5 weeks but I will if I have too so the plant doesnt waste my time yield wise like some of the stunted plants in my last run.
Forgot to add a week but I started it on synthetic nutes, shes way too small for my liking. Been going a little strong on the nutes and shes showing no signs of burn I would raise it higher to the light but then it'll cast a shadow on my other bitches in the tent and we cant have that. I've got an extra 2 weeks before the flip so let's see how this works out.
She's responded very well after switching to synthetic nutes but I am discontinuing the roots/Aurora nutrients line moving forward and switching to advanced nutrients. Got a little carried away with the training and split her down the middle where she's tipped but she will be OK. Flip begins now.
Loving the new nutes and so do the plants, very happy with this switch and in only 1 weeks the plant is showing pre-flowering. Ive never experienced this before so I'm excited for it and a early harvest. She's took off since switching to synthetic nutes and im just happy that i won't have to deal with low yields BC it stunted. I've been pushing the nutes on my plants this harvest as I'm putting all my knowledge from research and other growers to work. My NPK is about 6-8-21 for the entire solution not per plant, per plant its 2-2.6-7. Never been this high in NPK but I sorta know what I'm doing by now lol
She smells soooooooo good and shes had this smell since veg where its a candy type of smell in the air and to the touch. No plans on switching her back to organics she's doing great as is. I don't think my yield will be great because of the space in the tent but I'll keep training till I can't anymore
Did some more training this week and removed some lower bud growth that wouldn't amount to anything. Having more fun training this plant than anything else tbh, she has a tropical smell that getting stronger and its been there since veg so for anyone considering growing this and you don't want your mom to know you will need a carbon filter very early. With the increase in CO2 ive gone up on the feeding to 2.5L, BTW this is my first experience with CO2 and I didn't start with it until In the middle of week 2.
Elevated the plants closer to the light with a milk crate to get more PAR, its now 12" from the light with 2200ppm. Wished I had more room in the tent but I know the yellow will suffer on this one but that's OK. She has a more intense smell and is approaching the end of her life cycle. The fan leaves are starting to change color so the buds should start fattening up soon, in another week I will cut back the CO2 to about 700-800ppm moving forward
Did some super cropping to get some more light penetration in the last month of flowering. plant got hit with a case of spider mites but I believe I got it on time. She smells super sweet and should be done in another month
I'm not doing much to the plant at this point besides feeding it and spraying it with neem, its on cruise control for the next week or two till chop them.
Life happens and it takes me away from my grow a lot but so be it. I usually check out by week 7 of flower at time but its almost done. Buds are rock hard and smells great, took the picture 3/16/22 will probably cut it down on 3/19 weeks shall see. Actually had half a mind to cut it down while I took these pics, buds are heavy and falling over had to hold them up for the pic
Stinky plant she was, she's actually dried and I had a sample today. Very ice cream like I'm the smoke and gave me a a 2+hr high and counting as I'm typing. Will be back with the smoke report in about 2-3 weeks, I rather it cure for a while and give an honest review even though it smokes pretty good already.
