I soaked the seeds in a glass of warm water, covered them with a tea towel, and set them on a seed heat mat for about 12 hours in total. The seeds dropped and I transferred to the seed starter tray filled with moist coco coir in the dry tray, about 1/2 inch of water in the water reservoir and humidity dome with a led grow light. The seed starter tray had been sitting on the seed heat mat so it would be the same temp as the water as to not shock the seeds.
April 2 and 3 four of the seed sprouted
April 5th
I transplanted the seedlings to the tent and fabric 3 gallon grow pots that sit on top of AC Infinity Self-Watering Fabric Pot Base (it is a wicking watering system). I had the VIVOSUN VS1000 LED Grow Light with Samsung LM301 Diodes & Sosen Driver Dimmable Lights Sunlike Full Spectrum set 24 inches above the plants and set to 70% strength.
April 15th
No change to the lights, humidity, temp, but the nutrients did change. This week we stopped the Voodoo Juice but the other ones remained the same.
April 22nd
No changes to nut's, temp, or humidity, but we did have to raise the lights with the growth.
I may have mixed up a couple of my Green Crack grow's images but I did the exact same with both grows with amazing results both times, so if you see three then four plants it is due to my well intentioned intent to post each of these as I did them but forgot. LOL
The plants were not quite as tall as I would like to turn to flower so kept it another week in veg. No changes to anything but lights being raised to keep it at 24".
No changes to anything just sitting in Veg waiting on the ladies to get a bit taller. Of course consistently moving lights up to keep the 24" and still at 70% strength.
We finally switched to flower and the ladies have a new nutrient mixture, the lights were switched to 12 hours on 12 hours off and moved to 18" above the plants.
I loved growing this strain. The diary combines images from two grows, but the experiences are based on the second grow. I went with a longer veg stage this time because, in my first grow, the plants only reached about five feet tall. I felt they could grow taller, so I extended the veg period, and it definitely paid off. Both grows were smooth once I stopped overthinking the seeds and treating them like they needed special care to germinate. I wasted quite a few seeds at first by not sticking to my usual germination method, which has always worked well for me. This strain has become a fan fav in my world for both growing and enjoying!
OH, I forgot to weigh it wet but the dry weight was 11 oz.
that looks really good so far! if you want unasked advice: try to even out the plants as much as possible, this will guarantee you nice, even sized and developed buds.
good luck with your grow!!
