DailyDabs Week 2 going well, 1 plant is thriving and growing at a great rate but the other runt is falling further and further behind. I'm probably going to scrap the runt and end up cloning the other. For now nothing has changed though I am going to be topping soon.

DailyDabs Just started flowering. I am still having the ph problem where it shoots up to about 6.5 by the next day and I believe that's whats causing the brown spots. either way im just going to keep going and see what happens. I'm not really sure why the ph keeps rising that fast though.

DailyDabs Going into week 2 of flowering and shes looking pretty nice if I may say so my self. I've been trying to make her as flat and wide as possible for the last few weeks with some LST using paper clips. For the last few weeks the pH was raising daily from 5.5 all the way to around 6.6 over night so I would have to go back every day and add some pH down to bring it back to 5. I was thinking it was due to light getting into the reservoir so I added more black out to the bucket and for the last 3 nights I've checked the pH has been steady at 5.7 so I'm thinking I solved that problem.

DailyDabs Starting week 3 of flowering and week 6 of over all growth. she seems to be very happy now that I've fixed the pH issue and she is growing pretty fast. I decided to do a decent defoliation and pull everything to the sides again trying to keep her as wide as possible. I also super-cropped a few of the shoots in the middle to keep them at the same height as the branches I pulled down and to the side.

DailyDabs Bud sites are starting to look real nice now, I'm thinking the main stretching has already happened but I'm still expecting her to get a bit taller.

DailyDabs Going into week 8 she is looking great. I just added some cha ching and it looks like she doubled in frostyness over night. Its been a little longer than I thought since I last took some close up pics but I still think it shows a difference,

DailyDabs I think This is going to be her last week. Time for a nice flush. I looked at the trics and there was a few amber and a lot of cloudy so I think its time for a week long flush and then harvest time 🙌
Finally finished the cure and smoked a bit of the bud today and was decently impressed. I think I found what was causing the whole pH issue, while getting the roots out of the net pot I noticed a decent amount of nutrient goop in there. I wasn't doing flushes every 2 weeks and I think some nutrients where able to build up in the roots. Never the less the bud turned out pretty nice. Decently smooth with some nice berry notes, not a real heavy Indica but i can tell shes a Indica hybrid.
@DailyDabs, Nice bro! Hope it solves! Both girls are showing? In my case i felt was a PH problem with a bit of salt build up, is a diferent medium but you get the point, too much iron also locks cal mag. 👍🏻👍🏻
@CANNASIM, I was thinking maybe some light was getting in the reservoir so I added more layers of black out on the bucket. I'll try adding a bit more cal-mag since its only at 1.5 tsp/gallon.
Awesome 👏👏👏
I don't know if it takes you a lot of time to do such a great Timelaps, but keep on making them, it's really fantastic to see how she grows 👍
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, Thank you and I plan on haing a time lapse all the way up to when I smoke her haha It doesnt take to much time to do the time lapse I just have to remember to turn the camera on and make sure its plugged in so the battery doesn't die.
I am glad you did this. For several reasons I use DWC.
1. I wish more people could see just how fast they grow in DWC. (Thanks you’ve shown this)
2. DWC uses way way way............ less nutrients.
3. Several quality nutrient companies have included organic components in hydroponic fertilizer such that mine tastes and smells as good (or better) than soil grown.
4. Maintenance on DWC isn’t really difficult.
I could go on... I’m hooked on DWC!
@CANNASIM, Thanks man, the lights are just 4 (2 currently) 25W leds wired together. 1 of those per plant. I was thinking about getting some COBs but I already had one light top from my space buckets so I decided to go for it and try them out.
@BigDaddyK, no its not the battery, I keep it plugged in. The Time lapse app only allows a set number of pictures, 990 and only allows you to change the intervals at which the picture is taken and it only goes up to one picture every min. so one picture a min for 990 pictures is 16.5 hours. Idk why they done just make the picture count unlimited. Seems like a very simple patch fix.
@BigDaddyK, Thanks man :) I'm using the Sony A6300. Its not the best camera for time lapse but it is a very nice one. Some things that kinda suck are that you pay a little over 1K for the camera then they make you pay 10 bucks later for a Time lapse app that only record 16 hours so I'm missing 2 hours a night in veg. The camera takes very high quality pictures and has great 4K video its just not a great Time lapse only camera.
@BigDaddyK, That's what I was thinking as I was posting this haha I'm having a hard time getting that fan in a good spot to blow her around a bit without being too strong so I put it on the lowest setting and have it aimed at the reservoir but I'm moving it around every other day so I'll find a good spot eventually haha
@BigDaddyK, Thanks man! I was planning on growing 2 strawberry Kush plants but the second one just didn't hold on so I had to scrap that one. Since I am using 5gal buckets for the reservoir I can only fit 3 of those buckets in there at a time and then its starting to get cramped so I would have a lot harder time changing the water and doing pH checks. I think 2 plants in there LST'ed to be as wide and flat as possible is my optimum set up.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, I have a lot of un used extra cables in there right now. most cables in use are strung along the wall though i do have the power strip along the back wall water yet to get back there.
