cheech87 Amnesia Haze Soma is a highly regarded cannabis strain known for its complex genetics and potent effects. This sativa-dominant hybrid combines Southeast Asian strains with Jamaican Haze and Afghani-Hawaiian genetics, resulting in a rich profile of flavors and effects. It is famous for its high THC content, typically around 24%, and offers a fruity, crisp aroma with earthy and spicy undertones.
The effects of Amnesia Haze are often described as strong and euphoric, making it suitable for both recreational and medicinal use. It can help alleviate stress, anxiety, and pain, while also enhancing creativity and sociability.
Cultivating Amnesia Haze can be a challenge due to its long flowering time of approximately 12-13 weeks, but the resulting yield of around 600 grams per square meter is well worth the effort. This strain has won multiple awards, including the High Times Cannabis Cup, highlighting its popularity and quality among cannabis enthusiasts.
I hope my Amnesia Haze plants won't develop any nanners at the end this time.

cheech87 I won't torture these two directly in the 12/12 light cycle this time 😅. Instead, I'll let them grow under 18 hours of light at first so they can develop better during the vegetative stage. This way, they have more time to establish strong roots and a stable base before they go into flowering.
Both seeds have germinated well and are currently in separate cardboard boxes under my two Sanlight Flex 10 LED lamps with 18 hours of light per day. I'll keep them under these lamps for as long as possible before I transplant them into the tent.
To support root development, I've watered them with a mix of Voodoo Juice, Piranha, Tarantula, and Bud Candy.

cheech87 My Amnesia Haze plants look a bit different in appearance and leaf shape.
Right now, they are still in the box under two Flex 10 lamps from Sanlight.
Let's see how they look next week. 😊

cheech87 She is now alone, as the other plant was too small for me and didn't want to grow properly.
Everything is going well with her 😊 she has grown nicely under the 10-watt lamp (Sanlight flex 10). However, I think she will have to move to the 12/12 tent soon, as I won't have any more space for her otherwise. Let's see if she can stay in the cardboard box this week 😅.

cheech87 She's been in the flowering tent since the beginning of this week.
Well, the move stressed her a bit and the leaves got burned because of the stronger light, from 20 watts to 190 watts. 😅😅
Let's see if I can manage it this time without her turning hermaphrodite at the end. I think she reacts sensitively to bloom boosters, so I'll skip those and just use regular nutrients. Let's see how it goes; it's still a long way to the full 13 weeks.

cheech87 The Amnesia Haze keeps going as if nothing happened, and I'm really curious to see how it continues. However, I believe I have a different pheno than last time, as it's growing bigger and stretching more than my last pheno. This week I will fertilize it, but only very lightly, with an EC value of a maximum of 1.3. Let's see how it reacts to that.

cheech87 Everything is going great, the stretch still isn't over. The leaves look fantastic; I even counted 12 fingers on one leaf. Truly impressive genetics! I'm curious to see how it develops further. It's definitely very different from my first attempt, definitely wilder in growth. I can't say much yet, but so far it's a robust plant that can take quite a bit.

cheech87 I love this plant with its beautiful leaves. So far, it hasn't caused any problems. The stretch seems to be over, and it has shot up relatively quickly. The buds are already starting to grow, which makes me very happy.
The plant is already giving off a strong, healthy smell, which is a very good sign. The early aroma definitely shows that this strain has a lot of potential. I really liked my last plant of this strain as well, even though it was harvested a bit too early back then.
This week, I plan to fertilize lightly, but I'm still not sure which nutrient I'll choose. Let's see what fits best.

cheech87 This time my Amnesia hasn't stayed small, it's outgrown them all! I haven't topped it either. This week I will give it a light feeding, but I'm not sure yet what exactly. I'll write it here as soon as I've decided.

cheech87 She's developing beautifully, and her aroma is really something special; it's definitely leaning towards Haze/Amnesia. I'm very excited for the coming weeks and hope I can take good care of her until the end. Her production is excellent, and she has beautiful flower sites.
The long white stigmas are currently growing like little bunches of hair, very dense—a good sign! The trichomes are already emitting a hazy, yet very sweet smell. I'm sure this will develop further, but I already like it. A strong smell at the beginning is always a good sign for me.

cheech87 This time she's really going for it, she's gotten quite fat.
The smell is intense, with a sharp note accompanied by a hint of mint and tropical fruit. It's still too early to say anything definitively, but she's a real stinker, which I really like – usually a good sign.
The development of the buds is really promising. The stigmas are still sprouting, remain bright white, and are very long. Even though they're not finished yet, the buds already look beautiful with their silvery sheen and shiny trichomes. So far, she's super easy to grow; I haven't done much, and yet she's thriving!

cheech87 My Amnesia looks better this time than during the first run. Now it’s just about keeping her happy until the end. The trichome production has been very good so far, and I’m curious to see how the bud structure will develop. I hope she forms thick calyxes like a typical Amnesia, but I don’t think I have such a pheno. The buds are already way too fat and have an incredible amount of stigmas. I’m really excited to see how this turns out.
This week I will give her a light feeding, with half the dose of the Advanced Nutrients Grand Master Schedule.

cheech87 When it comes to the yield, I don't have to worry, and the quality is also looking good. The plant is showing impressive production, and the trichomes are already quite abundant, especially for a plant that still has 4-6 weeks to go.
The smell is very unique, and I'm curious to see how it will smell when dry. Hopefully, it resembles Amnesia Haze; we'll see. This week, it’s getting the full dose of nutrients from Advanced Nutrients Grand Master Schema.

cheech87 The current grow is going very well so far, and the plant has produced massive buds with a wonderful aroma. The scent is complex: a mix of lemon, tropical fruits, and a slight spiciness.
The plant is now showing early signs of yellowing, although it is still being fed. This suggests that it is slowly nearing its end, a natural process. For this phenotype, this seems to be quite fast, as the flowering phase should normally last 11 to 13 weeks.

cheech87 For a sativa, she was surprisingly easy to grow and forgives beginner mistakes. Her scent is pleasant and not too overpowering, making her perfect for newcomers.

cheech87 This time I harvested a decent yield. The buds emit a lemony aroma with a sharp pepper note. Surprisingly, the plant was ready after just 11 weeks of flowering.
I definitely need to grow it again to get to know the different phenos better. But one thing I can say for sure: I'm completely satisfied with the yield.
Now I'm curious to see how it tastes. As soon as I've tested it, there will be a new report!
