VacaVerde She’s a sour diesel seed found in a sour diesel bud. Seed was about 2/3 the size of the average seed. Was a surprise to me that the thing managed to sprout.

VacaVerde Started with rapidstart and biobizz. As a first timer I had a hard time figuring out how much nutes I should feed. Since I don’t have any nutrition on my substrate (50% pear moss 50% perlite) I believe I could have used more nutrition.

VacaVerde Some leafs still getting yellow. Some leafs started so swirl. Latter I learned that it was due to wind burn because of the fan that I placed close to the tent intake in order to try to control the heat. Did a topping prune.

VacaVerde Plant still looked hungry. Did some strong feeding during the week. Also, transplanted to a bigger 7 liters airpot. Changed some things around my tend adding a exhaust and a small fan inside. Added an humidifier. Topping went well. Some leafs started to show signs of heat (is there a thing such as overlight?) Temperature started do low a bit.

VacaVerde She is starting to recovery. This first grow is coming with a lot of learning. I lost a lot of time but gained a lot of experience. Felt like the plants were starving with biobizz. I’m sure is a nice line of nutrients but maybe is a little more trick for a first timer. I think that since it’s organic it takes a little bit more time to the nutrients to be available to the roots. I was having a hard time keeping my ph balanced also. So I was trying to figure out what was my problem. Heat? Nutrients? Ph? The heat was much more manageable after I added an strong exhaust causing negative pressure. I decided to change to advanced nutrients to have a fast action nutrient while fixing my soil ph with their ph perfect tech. After the first feeding the new leafs are back to full health. I’ll definetly try some biobizz once I get better on growing to see how it compares. Also, I ordered an optic 2 light rig that I hope will be here in time for flowering. Even though this Chinese unbranded cob led light is doing ok growing I feel like I could use more power. My next grow will be auto and I heard you cannot lose your hand with it.

Can anyone spot (if possible yet) by this last pictures if it’s a male or female? Looks like a “drop” shaped pre flower but I don’t know if it is a pre flower or new sprout with leafs. I’m having a lot of ramifications on this one and saw this happening on other areas.

You need to lower your hours of light. Or wait, it will show itself sooner or later. If you choose to lower light hrs get to 14 on and it will usually show sex... after that you can increase light hrs and go back to veg easily.

VacaVerde Lot of things happening this week. New light rig arrived. Planning on debuting it soon (optic 2 form optic grow lights) First, im almost sure it’s a female! This is my best looking plant so far so it’s big news for me. One other thing is, I was summing all my ferts and ppms for the weak but thinking about it I believe the best way to use it is registering how much per feeding right? Can someone let me know what’s the best way to log it in here? Last but not least I got my first bugs. By the look of it I guess it’s spider mites. What I did so far is spray top and bottom leafs with a neen oil solution after lights out and since I saw it on only 2 of the bottom leafs I when ahead and removed it. Keeping an eye on this one.

It is looking like thrips , not spider mites , spider mites marks are round dots and not the rules of marks you have. Anyway neem oil is still working on thrips. My only advice would be to spray during 2 week at least to get rid of the bug/larva & eggs 😊 . Your plant is a female, you can see 4 pistils on the picture named " female ? " ✌️🏼

Thanks for answering @SoinnerCaribbean. After some research on thrips I must say you are spot on. Putted some traps and will keep spraying neen. @souljasam, thanks for your answer. Happy it’s a female. Will do some clones soon.
