I know its not from the start, but I have not seen many journals/reviews for the Kush Fromage from medicann seeds except for the auto version. So since I am new to this site, figured it would be a shame not to do one for this beauty. My setup is a 2ft 2 tube T5 then a 400w(ultrasun) mh ran by a Galaxy Grow Amp ballast, in a 4x4 tent for seedling then early stage of veg. after they have grown a few sets of leaves they go into the 5x5 veg tent with a 1000w(Hortilux blue) and quantum 1K ballast. And for the flower room, is a 10x10 but i sometimes split it, if its not full of plants😢. for lighting I have 4-1000w hortilux super hps run by quantum digital ballasts👌. She was a little slow starter but once it has roots established she blows up with growth. The branches grow almost horizontal off the plant then once out from under the fan leaves above it starts to go up to the light wanting to be taller than the top branches. She has been a very good plant not to tempermental just make sure she has a plenty of room in her pot . She already has a nice smell to it. This strain really handles topping very well, I had topped it 3 days before those pictures were taken. Overall loving this strain so far.

overall it was a good week! One thing I've noticed about this strain is it loves having plenty of room for its roots to grow it was showing some signs of being root bound. It isn't but it is time to up pot once again, some strains can handle not having room for more root growth better than this one. Tho I do not mind this reacting before it gets root bound because then i can up pot before it is actually root bound in a case like this; where I never expected it to have filled the pot up so quick, so it can be good or bad just depends how you look at it. other than that she is growing nicely and should be going into the flower room soon😊. I will take pics and upload when it is up potted.

She had a good week, I did not get a chance to repot her this week. but she did not mind just had to bump the feeding up a little plus I raised the bottom of the pot up to let airflow to the roots and kinda air trim em. She responded very well to it and is growing nicely again😊. In the following week or so she will go into the Flowering room👍, just depends how she reacts when up potted. I am thinking of putting her into a 10gal pot with anywhere from 7-9gal of Happy Frog soil from Fox Farms. I will most likely add some Root Organics uprising Bloom. I had good results with it the first time I used it so why not try it again.

Was a great week, most of the lower branches have pretty much reached to top ones. So the ones that do not reach the top will be pruned. Plus I will trim what doesn't get light under the canopy. Then get her ready to go into flower tomorrow!🙌

So it was not a bad week, tho I was hoping to get her repotted and into flower last week I wasn't able to due to back injections😠. But she is now in a bigger pot and into the flower room😊. She was put in a 20gal Smart pot with about 9-10gal of Happy Frog soil. Yesterday was her first day of flower and she is under a 1000w Hortilux super hps bulb and a 1K Quantum ballast. I am going to prune the lower areas that get no light so that food can go to the canopy instead. Oh yeah I also bumped the Soil A & B base nutes up to 14mL /gal.

Not to much to report this week. She is starting to stretch up a little bit, and loves the bigger room for her roots😄 starting to see some hairs she doesn't have many but still they are starting👍.I did trim a lot of the lower portions that were not getting any light and will do a little more this week to focus all the energy to the top👆. She would have made a nice mother plant, but I figured I will get a ton of clones from her any way so make one of those into a mother. Out of the amount of them that root I should have plenty of choices. I am feeding her House & Garden Soil A & B at 14mL per gallon instead of what their feed chart says, other than that I am feeding just as the Feed chart says for and 8 week flower with the rest of their line..

Heyy my fellow Growers, it was a pretty good week for her😊👍 she is showing lots of Bud sites. Since the re-pot she has recovered very nice(she was a little root bound, not bad but enough to where it was showing slight signs of deficiencies, even though she was being fed. All of the new growth for the last 2 weeks are looking nice an healthy👌 I was giving it 2mL/gal of Nitrogen Boost every third watering the past two weeks but dropped it down to 1mL/gal every third watering for this week. Everything else has stayed the same with feeding schedule House&Garden Soil A&B 14mL/gal, 1mL Amino Treatment, 3.8mL Multi Zen, Bud XL 3.8mL/gal, Drip Clean 1.1mL/gal with Hydrogaurd at 1.5mL/gal once a week. 😎

Sorry I wasn't able to get the diary updated yesterday, it was a rough day for me. but it was a great week for the Kush Fromage!👍 She is slowing down with the stretch and starting to fill in with buds! She has a good size canopy and I did some slight defoliation of the lower parts that do not get any light. She is being fed House&Garden nutrients Soil A&B at 14mL/gal, Multi Zen at 1.5mL/gal, Bud XL at 4mL/gal, Drip Clean at 1.1mL/gal and last but not least HydroGaurd once or twice a week at 1.5mL/gal. For light she is under a Hortilux 1000watt Super HPS ran by a Quantum series lighting 1000watt Ballast.

Hey Fellow growers! It was a good week for the Kush Fromage Yesterday was Day 28 of flower she is slowing down on the stretch and starting to fill in her buds. The smell is getting stronger😷👌 it's a very kushy fresh grape like smell at this point. Her buds are already starting to be covered in crystals an looks great. I bumped up the base nutes to 16 mL/gal. Feeding every 2 waterings with plain pH'd water in between.

Well it was another great week for the Kush Fromage by Medicann Seeds😊 The pics are all from Day 35 of flower. She Is looking pretty healthy an has bounced back from a slight Cal-Mag deficiency she started to show👍 Her buds are getting bigger and the trichomes are really starting to come in😊 She has a earthy kush with fresh grapes on a grapevine like smell to her that is getting stronger and stronger everyday👌This week she has been very hungry so I have started feeding her on an every other watering. Overall so far it is one great growing plant😎

Hello my fellow Growers👊 It was another Great week for the Kush Fromage 🙌 All the pictures were taken on Sunday, which was Day 42 of Flower. She is really starting to reek the whole area up. It is a very earthy kush like smell with fresh grapes on a grapevine mixed in, it's a very unique smell😊 She is supposed to be a very heavy resin producer and have a high THC and CBD content. Anywhere from 18-26% THC and ~3% CBD according to the breeder. I can tell you this it is one very very resinous plant😵 even the fan leaves and smaller leaves that have no trichomes on them have developed an oily resin on them. It's awesome so I can definitely say it is a heavy resin producer. If a sugar leaf touches another leaf you can see an oily resin where it touched it, my fingers get sticky just from the fan leaves👍The breeders estimated time of Flower is around 63 Days. So we got a few more weeks to go!! I hope the buds will fill in a good bit more but I am not counting on them getting huge due to this strain being more on the quality over quantity side of things. It's not a bad producer and I'm sure they can get some pretty huge flowers on em, but I have seen plants that can produce way more, but this strain makes up for it in its potency and resin production. Plus I personally like the Quality over quantity strains. Though at least nowadays its nice that we have a lot of strains that are a nice compromise and have great yield while also having great quality😎 Thank for stopping by and checking out the Grow👊👍 Happy Growing an plentiful Harvests to you all!!🙏

Well it was another awesome week for the Kush Fromage!👍Day 49 of Flower and she is putting on some weight. The branches are starting so sag down a little bit😊. Her trichomes are starting to ripen up quite a bit and are about 60-65% cloudy. Looks like she will be done right around the breeders estimated time of ~63 days of Flower and could be harvested a tad bit earlier if wanted, but I am in no rush. I am feeding her the same nutes as last week with the exception of the addition of some unsulphured blackstrap molasses. The smell is starting to change a little bit with a pungent cheese like smell starting to come out Overall just one wicked plant😵 it has it all smell look and serious resin production!! I really can't wait to try the smoke! Thanks for checking out the diary Happy Growing an Plentiful Harvests Everyone🙏

hello my Friends! The Bush'OKush had a great week!😊It is Day 56 of Flower. She is really putting on the weight in the last 2 weeks, A lot of the branches have started to "droop down from the weight to where the stems are almost horizontal. Normally I would stake/tie them up but she will be harvested within the week otherwise they would get tied up to prevent any snapping of branches that could occur.I am surprised actually on how much they have sagged or drooped from the weight due to the size and how sturdy the stems are. She really surprised me in these last 2 weeks with that🙌. As for when she will get harvested it is looking like it is going to be right around the breeders estimated time of ~63 days Flowering👌 You could easily harvest it around the late 7th to the 8th week depending on preference and growing conditions. I am going the full 63 Days at least even though the trichomes are pretty much at there peak I'd say its about ~90% cloudy/milky and ~5% clear ~5% Amber. So I am hoping for a heavy hitter of a smoke from this one so that why I will go the full breeder time of 63 if not a few days longer all depends on how quick the Trich's mature/ripen and oxidize. I will be watching them closely. I am still feeding her some nutes but only every 2 waterings, so it's feed-water-water-feed. I have also lowered the level of nutes slightly and will keep doing so until it is just plain pH'd water for the last two days. She has a very odd kinda hard to describe smell😷, it is this like fresh grapey smell at first then a kushy, earthy, fruity-ish yet pungent like smell 😂 Hopefully the next update will be a starting to harvest update👍 Thanks for stopping in to check out the diary! Happy Growing an Plentiful Harvests Everyone!!🙏

Hello my Friends!! Sorry for the late update was a very busy week! Bush'OKush grew phenomenal through out this grow. This is her last update before harvest. The pics were taken Monday, and I started the Harvest chop on Thursday That was a nice BDay present from the Cannabis gods🙌 She Was not the easiest but not that hard to grow at the same time lol. I think even a beginner can grow this strain just pay attention to it and it should not be to much of a challenge.👌 She really bulked up with lots of weight these last 2 weeks. It actually surprised me because it was one of those strains that builds the buds nice and big and then they dense up later on during the grow. So as they just kept getting more dense an dense as the last 2 weeks went on it was a nice surprise. I ended up having to stake and tie up a few of the branches and would have done more if it wasn't so close to harvest when they started to squat down. So if your growing this strain don't get upset if you think the buds are staying real fluffy, they will dense up in the end👍 It looks like she should have a pretty good yield!! She smells fruity/kushy/earthy that is so strong it almost burns your nose😷 She is getting harvested as close to 100% milky/cloudy trichomes but leaning more toward having more amber than clear trichs for that ~5-10% since it is pretty much impossible to get 100% cloudy. Other than that I just have to finish up trimming and yea I'll have the harvest update soon!👍 Happy Growing an Plentiful Harvests everyone!!🙏

👍This was an Awesome grow of Kush Fromage by Medicann Seeds. This was my second time growing it, but the first time was a couple years ago and it did not come out nearly as good. This go around went well, She grew very good with the only real downside is it really likes room for the roots, Like way more than others. She had a little symptoms of being root bound half way through the grow but when i re-potted it the roots Did not look root bound, They were right where you would want them when trans planting . She bounced back very quick and it did not affect her at all. I did not expect this much of a yield from her either🙌 she filled up 10- 1 Quart wide mouth jars!👌🙌 The buds look and smell so good!! it had a very pungent earthy kush like smell that almost burnt your nose while growing and during the drying period. Once it got jarred up for a few days it changed to a very cheesy smell with a slight earthy kush smell. I would have never guessed that it would have changed that much that quick I love it! It's a straight original UK cheese smell. The smoke is soo smooth for only being cured for a week. Nice cheesy earthy taste with a slight hash undertone to it as well. The Final Dry weight was an Awesome 234.6g Just over 8 ounces🙌😵👊🙌👌🙏 I figured it would be around that number due to the bud being a very similar in denseness as the Critical hog and any time I have filled 5 of those jars it is usually right around ~4 ounces give or take a little. So when it kept filling them up and I got to 10🙌 I knew it would be a very very good yield. If you had this strain dialed in and have ran it a few times so you know what it tends to like I think it could have some very good potential to be a huge yield. She loved The @House & Garden Line of nutes, I would highly recommend them to anyone weather your in Soil or Hydro! I also used Botanicare Hydrogaurd throughout the grow to help the root zone stay nice and healthy and man does it do wonders I would says it is one of those must haves👍 Also I find The Aurora Innovations Uprising Bloom to be a big help in the late flowing stage as It is already in the soil for the plant to use, It also makes it so I can keep the Bud XL from House & Garden at the recommended rate instead of having to use more when they require a little more food . This was such an Amazing Strain to grow and smoke!!😋😁 Thee kush Fromage will definitely Get grow again and most likely get her into the rotation of the perpetual grow cycle That's how much I love this Strain 😊😎🙌👊😵👍
