Purple Mystery

Stinkfox Soaked the seed in water with Bigfoot root stimulator. I then planted directly into soil. It popped in two days and hasn’t stopped yet. Seed was given to me. It’s supposed to be a heavy purple indica. We shall see!

Stinkfox Growing quickly. I’ll be transplanting within the next day or two. Once recovered from the transplant, I’ll top at the 5th node. Who knows when I’ll flower? Who knows if it’ll end up being female? 😄

Stinkfox Topped this week. She’s recovered beautifully, and I’ll start giving nutes this week.

Stinkfox I started nutes this week. I took off the biggest lower leaves and applied a little LST. Another two weeks, and I’ll likely flip to flower. Then maybe we’ll see some purple. Or some male flowers...who knows? 😄

Stinkfox I continued training the branches outward throughout the week. I’ve mainly been tucking leaves. Once she’s reached 16 inches or so, I’ll defoliate and flip to flower.

Stinkfox I defoliated and flipped to flower today. She had a nice even canopy. I’m hoping for a decent stretch. I’m not really sure what to expect. I have more of these seeds, so this is a test run.

Stinkfox No power this week, right after I defoliated and kicked into flower. 🤦‍♂️. So not sure what the stretch will be like. Got power back a couple days ago.

Stinkfox The power outage definitely robbed me of any stretch. Hopefully the bud quality makes up for lack of size. This plant absolutely reeks right now, without any significant pistils formed yet.

Stinkfox I will defoliate this week. Buds should be forming in abundance soon.

Stinkfox Hooray! We’ve got purple! She’s recovered from defoliation, and buds are doing their thing.

Stinkfox She’s packing on frost, and the purple buds are beginning to show. The cold night temps are pretty much finished, so I won’t be getting much help there. But they look great so far.

Stinkfox Buds are fattening up. I’m getting less purple, as Spring begins to envelop the land in warmer temperatures. No matter. The purple will be inside, where it counts. Literally. I’ll be able to break open the bugs and find the purple inside. 😄 I’m uncertain as to what the flowering time will be, exactly. We’ll all find out together.

Stinkfox Getting closer. But she’s not as mature as her Wedding Cake sister. Probably looking at 10 weeks of flowering.

Stinkfox She’s swelling up and looking tasty! I’m thinking a 70 day flower. I’ll begin flushing soon.

Stinkfox One week of flushing down, and one more to go. Smelling a bit grapey! I’ll harvest by the end of next week.

Stinkfox It grew well and easily. I think my overall harvest was affected by the power outage the entire first week of flower. Not much stretch. Very indica in stature, growth, and smoke.
