Sam's Crack has been a treat to grow and I hope Mephisto chooses to make her a part of their stable. I'd gladly buy more of these seeds! They grow big and thick, and take abuse pretty well. And depending on the pheno, can be done in as few as 67 days from my experience. Great plants!

Reviews. Nutrient
These will be my go-to primary nutrients apart from what's in the soil from now on,
She worked, but I changed out to something more all encompassing with the Maxibloom.
Worked well but Maxibloom is going to be my standard.

Mandy was a bumpy experience at first. She sprouted after eight days under the dirt with one cotyledon and it was almost black. She struggled, and struggled. I had the room and being my first grow, I was determined to keep her going. She went! She was a few days behind her sister, all the way through, but this morning I gave her a once over and she had 10-15% amber, which is my chop trigger. Luckily Sam #1 was officially dry today (Four days, but she doesn't smell like hay so we're good.) This tenacious girl was in a 3 gallon Rootmaster, so she had half the dirt to work with that her sister did, and she managed to come out with almost 14oz of wet bud! If she dried like Sam #1 did, that will put her in the 3ozish zone! An all around win for our girl Mandy! Edit: She came in a 2.5oz. Not 3 like I had hoped, but good enough! Also gave me 19g of frosty trim.

@SCAR17s, I know right!?! This was a plant that was born half blackened and missing a cotyledon leaf, too! Classic underdog story! :-D so proud of her. She'll be the one I remember most of my first grow.

What ever your doing keep it up she looks great. Keep an eye on the leaves/buds. The highest leaves are showing signs of the beginning of light burn. Could be those parts are more directly centered under the light where it is most intense. I dealt with a simular issue on my grow. I was a bit faked out thought it was a deficiency. If shes close to her chop day you could cut down to 20hrs of light it might help.

@Philindicus, Yeah she's a weird plant, actually. She was heavily LSTed and had a flat canopy. I mean super flat, and at day 56, out of the blue, maybe five days after her flower stretch ended, she just decided to shoot a dominant cola out of the center of her mass. I mean she was DONE going up for days and all of the sudden BLOOP, a top, sticking six inches up. Was so weird. And then of course her main canopy, which is made up of eleven or twelve 12 inch colas is at a perfect height. So I'm kind of stuck in a dilemma at this point. Let her other colas get the right amount of light and risk damage to that dominant or let the unanticipated dominant get all the glory at the possible expense of a whole lot of yield. So I decided to let her get a bit bleached. We're at day 62 of a strain whose parents are a 55-65 day grower (Sour Crack) and a 70-75 day grower, (Samsquanch OG.) so I'm guessing that she's got maybe a week or two at the outside? I'm not sure. I guess you never know with gen 1 crossbreeds. If it looks like that top will get irreparable damage before the end of her life cycle I may take some action. Does that make any sense?
