ok guys so i got 3 tops from my topping haha. she is showing some vigor now and stretching some under my DIY COB's. she will soon be placed down in the basement wheer im constructing a Photoperoid room in an old spare canning room in the basement.
ok guys so since putting her downstairs which has high humidity , she has really exploded with growth. i also Transplanted her into her final home which is a 5gal Airpot so im expecting her to be a decent size. as you can see i have started her LST and she is taking to it great!💪 there are some autos down there with her for the moment but they will be moved up to the Auto tent upstairs once room opens up.
ok guys so i switched to 12/12 on 6/16/17. she showed preflowers before the switch so i dont know what thats about i thought it wasnt supposed to happen until after the switch... O well !💪
ok guys so the critical kush has pretty much switched into full bloom an the buds are starting to fill. i need to get a de-humidifier down there asap once funds allow me to.🙏
ok guys so this plant has just been growing itself which is why i kinda forgot about logging it last week. the buds are swelling up and the trichs are coming out also🙏
ok guys so we made it to the end with NO BUD ROT WHAT SO EVER!!!! WHEEEW!!! that hurricane fan must really kick ass! ive dried a sample bud before i harvested and it has a great sweet kushy smell to her that's just relaxing! i cant wait to smoke the hell out of this plant! She was flushed for 9 days and i couldnt wait for her any longer since i have 2 of her clones in my auto tent that need to get out of there and flowered out. I can say im very happy i took some clones of this girl to run it again!
ok guys so the Barneys Farm Critical Kush is a wonderful indica smoke, i like to smoke this a little before im ready to go to sleep as i have insomnia issues and this strain fits the bill for that!
ok guys so the Barneys farm critical kush grew flawlessly even in the high humidity of my basement with 0 bud mold or rot. i think i could have done better if i had more room and light to spread her out and get more light to the buds but im still very happy with my 1st ever photoperoid grow. I did take 2 clones off of her and am now flowering them. they were about 14" before switching them to 12/12 so lets see how thy do with a shorter veg.
i dont really see any advantages of Photoperoid strains over autos so i dont understand why people hate on them so much....
like i said im overall happy with barneys farm and the critical kush, i can definitely recommend this one to you guys!0
Wow nice job. I grew this one's cousin, a CBD enhanced variety (CBD Critical Cure) on a balcony 2 years ago and it was great. Critical to get those nice big buds and a strong fast flowering indica that makes your grow easy and predictable. Add the Kush taste and I'm a happy camper even if the THC content was low. It's all about the flavour baby.
Actually, pre flowering is a vegetative phase so it is normal that the plant shows pistils at this stage. That's the benefit of photoperiodic : you can prolong vegetation as long as you want and it only affect the size of the plant. Don't worry, you won't be having a very large plant due to the early switch, but you're doing it very well :)
@Tripaholic88, To be completely honest with you I'm inclined to not believe you. I've got screen shot proof of multiple grows of yours where you are using way more lighting than advertised. Specifically your Stardog, Rhino, C4, Mexican Airlines as well as you #1 voted diary for this month. It's very evident you've specifically removed this individual plant from your tent to take most of the pictures and done so in a manor that doesn't show the scope of your grow area. I can tell in the first pictures of week one that this plant, AS WELL AS ALL YOUR OTHERS, are under both your DIY light that consumes upwards of 400 watts as well as multiple Mars Hydro lights In your tent no less. I wouldn't of come here and said anything if I couldn't prove it 100%. I've been in contact with the staff of Grow Diaries all morning and now you've commented a blatant lie when this very diary proves just from the lighting alone that you know you are falsifying your grow information,
@BigDaddyK, To be fair, if he was just another diary in the mix I would probably have just privately reported this and went on my way. He's the second highest liked Master grower on this website and all of his information is incorrect. Once again I have all the evidence of these lies screen shot so that he can't pretend that he isn't lying. I'm happy to PM it to you if you'd like. He's been blatant about not caring that his information is incorrect and has in fact responded that he's happy to change it to 400000000 watts just because he can. His nutrient ratios are lethal and could never be flushed if the plant were to actually survive. His claimed wattage is absolutely ludicrous seeing as 99.9% of the respected literature that exist pertaining to growing says a big fat NO. People are coming to his page and liking his grows and following his instructions when they are drastically incorrect. He's won numerous awards that need to be stripped from him because he was voted for under the false pretenses of his yields when they are wrong. He's violated two whole sections of the terms of service and bragged that he doesn't care and most people wont sift through everything with a fine tooth comb to prove him incorrect. Luckily I have and I'm happy to share it with everyone. Notice he hasn't formulated a real and well thought out response because I'm right and engaging me would only make a fool of him further. The advertisers and sponsors will pull out if this continues because he's representing fast buds products incorrectly. Thats bad for all of us.
@BigDaddyK, Honestly, no man they really aren't. The plants look great but when you factor in the actual real wattage used for them all they are sub par at best. .75 - 1 gram per watt with lab tested results are whats considered amazing grows. putting out 500 grams per meter squared is considered amazing. I've never said the grows don't look great though, the plants look fantastic. That doesn't change the fact that the information is entirely incorrect and intentionally done so. Once again I reference the violation of the terms of service both section both in section 3 "(If any information that you provide, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that any information that you provide, is false, inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or violates these TOS, any Additional Terms, or any applicable law, then we may suspend or terminate your account. We also reserve the more general and broad right to terminate your account or suspend or otherwise deny you access to it or its benefits - all in our sole discretion, for any reason, and without advance notice or liability.)" and in section 5 "(Be Honest and Do Not Misrepresent Yourself or Your User Content. Do not impersonate any other person, user, or company, and do not submit User Content that you believe may be false, fraudulent, deceptive, inaccurate, or misleading, or that misrepresents your identity or affiliation with a person or company.)". @BigDaddyK, your grows are amazing and truthful and I'll commend you on that. I however don't think that anyone on this site should have to deal with false information being published. I have opened a dialog with Grow Diaries staff and have presented reasonable and logical evidence that his diaries are based on false claims and methods. The advertisers and sponsors of this site will pull out when they see their products being misrepresented and I don't think thats good for this company nor the rest of it's user base. I'd be more than happy to present you and any other person who asks my proof of his false claims and documentation using his own photos and videos.
