From past experience, I've found that defoliation is necessary with this plant to keep it healthy. The vegetation is so think it is prone to disease and bud rot. This time around, I'm keeping it thinned out some, so that air can circulate around the branches.

Veg Begins: Topped both plants at the 4th node. Light veg feed around outside edge of pots to promote outward root growth.
