Not even a week old yet. Germinated all 3 in between a weak Rhizo dampened kitchen towel, between two plates. All 3 sprouted roots within 30hrs :)
Straight into coco 5gal pots, pre soaked in a weak nutrient solution
Watered twice with ph’d weak solution
Started to bush out a bit more, hopefully these girls exploded in the next 2/3 weeks of veg :)
Running the two 60watt lamps on full spec and the 600watt on just veg spec
At first I thought the EC was quite high but no signs of any issues
Started to LST the biggest one, other two are about a week behind..
going to flush this week, they’ve been getting about just over a litre of water throughout the week on Nutes.
Starting to smell a bit sweeet
Starting to get their grow on!
1st water - full nutes, 2nd water - ph’d and cal mag, 3rd water - 1/4 nutes
Light cycle is a bit irregular due to timer being off??
Bushed our and doubled in size, must admit since running boost into the cycle plant health and growth seems to be better.. greener leaves, faster,
1 - seems to be pure bush and just about to go into flower, slightly bigger, and it seems to of topped itself - it’s growing 2 semi main colas?
2 - Because she’s directly under the lamp, I’ve been giving her extra cal mag and heavier LST
3 - Slowed down a bit, been at the same sort of growth (mid first week flower) might loosen up her ties
Managed to readjust the height of the light so it’s a bit further away.. 600watts of dual spec don’t want it too close aha
Starting to show a load more bud sites
Taken off all lst as them seem to prefer without
Did a little test on each 3,
1 no lst and no surprise is the biggest
2 light lst and a nice broad size
3 heavy lst which seems to of stunt this week.. see how she is next week
Ohhh and they have some friends.. an orchid and some sma orange plant
Starved her for a few days before heavy nute n juice feed; 1 is already starting to bud up, just needs to ripen and fatten up
The other two are still about a week behind, hopefully she’ll finish up end of the month. Fingers crossed
The buds are pretty dense and the average size for each nug is about the length of my middle finger and can nearly touch finger and thumb around in girth. Resistance was strong, it’s quite humid here 60-90% and there’s no sign at all of any mould. I probably should of fed them more than I did. They are quite a hungry strain. Next time I won’t be LST’ing them, I set up 3 ranging from different lst and the one still going about 200g+ wet was the one with no LsT the other two averaged about 110g+ wet with LST. Could of done with cropping the 1st one a few days earlier but managed to get there other 2 fine.
So I start I had 3 nice Bluetooth auto from msnl. Always wanted to try sweet tooth and the way the Nugs turn out, once cured from Bluetooth I couldn’t resist. It was my first time growing so I set up 3 little tests and conditions for each beaut. 1 with a lot of LST, 1 with medium lst and the last one pretty much no lst. It appears that not LsT’ing is the way to go, the one that hasn’t been LST’d is still going and looks like a 200g + plant. The other two weigh in (wet weight) about 200g together (70g and 130g). Resistance is strong, it’s quite humid here 60-90% most days and there’s no sign of any mould. I have been using an air filter to recycle the dirty air and pump out clean air. Another thing I learned is these puppy’s like their food, I have 2 more seeds left and I’m quite excited to use what I know from this one for the next grow. Now for a good week of drying and 2 weeks of cure at least. The smell is amazing, smells like candy and blueberry, and a hint of citrus
Congratulations! Your findings regarding LST are very interesting as most people insist that LST will always increase yield. Obviously this is not always the case.
