Hello fellow growers! RQS have kindly sent me this strain a wile back, the name was Kush Banner #4 at the time, they have update to HulkBerry. HULKBERRY THC: 27% CBD: Low Yield Indoor : 400 - 450 gr/m2 Yield Outdoor: 650 - 700 gr/plant Height Indoor: 80 - 140 cm Height Outdoor: 160 - 200 cm Flowering time: 9 - 10 weeks Harvest Month: Late September Genetic Background: OG Kush x Strawberry Diesel Type: Sativa 65% Indica 35% Effect: Clear and energetic Flavor: Sweet Climate: Warm ------RQS.HB COMMENT------ Had germinated with the usual method, scarify, glass of water soak for 20h, paper towel till seen the taproot, then plant in a small vase than transplanted to a 25l airport, first time using this pots. They were outside, in my balcony for approx 1 week then I have setup the tent, no rush as is a photoperiod run the objective is to outgrow the tent to see the limit. Feeding only root enhancers, voodoo juice and recharge combined, ec of my tap water is .25, with this products we go to .5 and with a AN sensi grow 1ml l to EC 1 , feeding around 250ml of water every watering, every other day. My temps are on the high, have to modify a few things in the exhaust system, and soon it will arrive an CREE CXB3590 to cover this tend in veg, 100w real draw with a Meanwell driver, another tent will be setup to flower, probably with Samsung Diodes, lm301b aka quantum boards. Thats the plan for the next months so replace my ship bestva led that generate a lot of heat and is inefficient if compared to this more contemporary techs. Happy growing to all!

Did some topping and lst. Feedin around 300ml every other day, I alternate the contains af each feeding besides the recharge that is constant. the sister by the side is a free bean from kannabia and the other in the small vase is a purple kush mutation...

Major changes are comming up, decided to switch my current LED to a CREE CX3590 100w draw with a meanwell driver, temps are not a problem anymore, got a drop to 26C so -8 degrees, running nice and smooth. Got a 100x100cm tent to use as flower tent, plans are to run a perpetual cicle, missing the lights for the flower tent, have to decide between QB or COBs Some further LST was done, just tie here and there. Decided to give a good watering to get all the substract in contact, around 1,5l each airpot, running constant feed with lower ec.

The flower tent is almost up and ready to go. Girls are responding well to the training and the new cob. Got a reverse osmosis filter running! Ec gets filtered and reads 0.0/0.01, its crazy, water gets normally out at .28 - .3 ec tap. I’m suplementig with calmag but woul like to run some tests with the new water.

So far so good, we are at the 5 veg week, the hulk berry is shooting up many pre-flowers. The RO water has been great, using this clean water is much better and you see a strong difference, and you are able to dial the ppm/ec without the interference of random stuff plus the chloride and fluoride that comes with tap water in my region. This version of the Hulkberry i have is a bit more on the sensible side of things, se feels already if you keep touching her, also better not to nuke this strain with nutrients from what i have seen so far, so I’m going easy on her. The other two strains form Kannabia, one been the unstable version of Purpple Kush, got many aliens already out of some seeds, and ironically a Lucky dip, mystery strain is extreamely vigorous and nice to work with. A side from that i have chosen two HLG QB324 V2 quantum board with a Meanwell 320H-54a driver to build a DIY light, with passive Heatsink and 90 degree optics to power the flower tent, so basically i will move this plants to the other tent in a week or two when i get this build. This is a huge step up for me since i was using a generic Chinese blurple led. My setup changed a lot and i will try to keep things consistent, i may have some adaptation going on to drive all this new perpetual style grow.

Gilrs exploded in growth, all look nice, temps droped a bit and humidity is rising because of the plants transpiration as they grow, combined with summer rains outside. Have to flip 12/12 asap, they are becoming too tall, and in the veg tent space finished to train Wide... Got the Horticulture Lighting Group boards to light the flowering tent (100x100x200cm), and build a custom simple Aluminium frame for the build, A meanwell HLG-320H-54A will power this two boards remotely. Efficiency should be at the top with Samsung lm301b diodes, I’m missing the wires to connect them and conclude the build, this is a huge step um from my bestva chinese burple leds, and I’m very exited to conclude the build!

Have fliped the switch to 11/13, as suggested by Dj Short, the blueberry strain creator. I’m experimenting a bit with light schedules, in veg I have used 6/2 x3 , so the lighting was divided in equal periodes of 6 light 2 dark, that provided a more stable climat, girls responded well. The ignitor to try that was a few articles that suggested the plantas have a limited amonth of light that can be processed and that helps absorb and process more since they have fragmented rest periods. I’m wanting to experiment with some deep red diodes, IR and UVA diodes. I have taken some clones of this mistery strain that is growing great, and the veg tent will be their home for two months Until I harvest the girls. The HLG leds are working great, and was very fun to build, I’m not sponsored by this guys, by the way, but the outcome is just amazing by what I has used to... My next DIY project is a Aeroponics cloner machine!

All have been good, beside some white flies i have spoted, so basically i have pruned out the leafs with eggs, removing the most i could find, in two sessions. Step two was to wash the girls squirting pressure water in the back of the leafs abundantly. In the morning with lights out applied some neem oil extract, will reapply in a few days to make sure, and continue monitoring the leafs. I choose not to deleaf and ended up deleafing... one thing i don't like leaving the plants populated with leafs is that the airflow is compromised, and fir sure this is one reason for my pest issues. Anither thing is that my tent does not incloase itself with nets to avoid the entry of stuff from outside. Humidity is a bit high, at 70-80%, not planing on buing more parafernalia at the moment, turning up the exhast make it so loud that seams like an airplane taking of lol, so limited options there... For the rest the plants are performing very well, growing with vigor, and deveping well!

Everything is working well, the white flyes are extinct for now. Got a bit of spotting here and here that i presume is from the neem but not sure. Runoff is getting out in the same value as the input, and PH is not dropping, but I suspect to have a bit of salt buildup. I have diled a bit back on the base for 2ml/l, leaf color is great. Have to travel soon so I’m putting up a irrigation sistem to help out in this 7days that i will be away...

Buds are forming nicely, the Hulkberry has a sugary scent, very pleasant looks like very green weed, vibrant. Leafs are showing some cal mag deficiency, I’m using RO water, but supplementing with cal mag, and leafs still demonstrating that for a wile, could be the led to cloase, checked the runoff ec 1.4 and ph 6.5 looks normal, tested the soilless, is between 6.5 and 7. This looks like a more fragile strain, wile by the side i have a heavy feeder, and a normal feeder, runing three distinct diets is out of question at this point... The Purpple kush smells like candy and is really purpple and the unknown strain is like mint with a strong indica look. I’m going to be away for 7days so I intalled a drip sistem and I’m hopping it does the trick...

I have been away for a week, had setup a drip system that watered every other day. Noticed a strong yellowing, lost a bit track of the feeding since i was away for 8 days, and have used a mile concentration of nutes, no recharge. I decided to live it be as is and start flushing, in two days, today will be the last feeding, and will be done with overdrive an the base. On top of that I have ordered a floraflex round matrix, a bubbler from them.

Flowers got really dense like bricks, also the lower ones. Felt like starting the flush at the point I’m at to have the cleanest smoke possible. Have around 2 weeks to go, or till i have strong yellowing. Flushing with terpinator, flowers still getting bigger.

Harvest time is near. This is probably the last update before it happens. Flushing flushing flushing. Visual results are satisfying smell is absurdly strong, bud density is the best I had until now, rocks suspended by sticks and eveverything is collapsing from the weight...

This was a challenging grow cycle that redefined most of the way I have grown, is a joy to have a bigger space and a dedicated one to veg. The RO water I’m finding hard to use because mainly I can’t read the ph on it when its plain and pure, also replenish the cal mag still not on point. The tent is simple and less quality than the Homebox white I have, the mylar is just not hygienic like the white plastic, and all other components from the mammoth tent feels lower. The Quantum boards I have built from the Horticulture lighting group are a bomb and very high in quality, very penetrating with the lenses mounted, and just great great outcome, a serious piece of equipment. The growing process was plain and simple otherwise and just had some issues woth White flies that I have dealt with using neem but I could not completely get read of them thru late flower, when they have reappeared and I had controlled them with defoliation only. The results the results were fantastic as follows: Kannabia purpple kush - 480g wet -88g dry Royal Queen Seeds Hulkberry - 600g wet - 106g dry Kannabia Mystery strain - 1,154kg wet - 225g dry, this holds the best weight I had on a single plant to date. The smoke report and other infos will be posted organically. ------UPDATE. #1 ------ Buds have been curing for two weeks, the aroma that developed is fantastic. Very fresh scent, sweet and sour, a bit like sour mint, very pungent, incredible. Definitely not stealthy. Didn't try to vape yet, one more week and will test it. 0
