Started adding the fox farm trio by this point. At 1/2 dosage per FF schedule. Did this every other watering. TDS of 800~ going in, but 1800 coming out at runoff, so that tells me the nutrients were still packed in the soil.
I had topped 2 more times by this point and attempted to LST the branches out evenly. She got kind of sideways and off center, but grew vvery fast and rebounded nicely from topping each and every time.the first few tiny pistils started showing, and I knew flowering was coming up soon.
I was able to count 22 colas forming with nice white pistils everywhere. I defoliated quite a bit in week 4 and am glad I did. I now have a fairly even canopy with each bud site looking incredibly healthy. I’m adding 1 tspn/gal of calmag every watering, and 2tspn/gal of tiger bloom every other watering, the mixture goes in at about 800ppm, run off measuring this week at about 950. Previously the run off was over 1500, telling my the ocean floor had plenty of nutrients left to give. Now it feels like most of the soil is being used up as she transitions to flower phase.
She really started to show her flowering this week and ended up stretching up for a vertical of 9”. Did some light defoliation of larger lower fan leaves to keep air flow nice. The bud sites on each cola really impress me.
Tied the outer colas down to attempt to let more light and airflow enter the canopy. Densely stacked colas and by end of week 7 the buddies in each cola have begun to grow into each other. I expect to see a lot of weight added to the bud sites through week 8 and 9.
