So far so good, hurricane took it. This is my attempt to have it back.
6/6 seeds hatched.
6/6 in the dirt
5/6 sets showing.
Thank you to the good folks at
Marks Organix( OG Breeder), Chalisa Farms(Kindness and direction) and Superfluous (Keeper of the seeds).
Update, new pots/ forever home placement today. So excited they seem sturdy and well adjusted. Played some music for them today.
They are still a little fragile, I hope they put on some size this week, will transplant to their forever home 3/5 gallon fabric pots and potentially top them in half depending on overall vigor. Deep cuts go nuts.
.
They recovered topping , now on track, give them a few weeks of training then flip la script
Topped back a few sets, not as deep as I had hoped. It's done and they happy
Back on track, avoided living in a van down by the river. Add some support nutes and a light feed. The tops are looking tempting.
They will get topped this week for sure. We back on track.
## made a booboo, remember to stay up to date with calibration of testing of diagnostic equipment . I was running really acidic while feeling confident I was in spec.
##good maintenance can lead to greatness ##
Day 45. We are about to go on a ride to flip City. I generally wait a little longer to suss out the semi-natural shape and begin to pull it wide. However, things are not always exactly as they should be. I need to defoliate and get it switched by Sunday.
Day 43, found an intruder, captured and secured him and inadvertently freed him within a 10-minute. MnF'er still at large .Everybody looks happy.feeliing a flip soonish.
Day 41 from wetting seed, using auto pots , ac infinity. I like a lot of the things they make. It's good stuff
Day 38 from seed wetting
I am impressed with this seed stock, these are hardy plants with sturdy expressions and vigor. They so far, are not to needy or demanding. There natural tendency lends itself to my style.
My system is simple, air-pots , pro-mix, auto water assistance, RO water with a full suite of Botanicare products.
Day 54 Spread em. As they stretch, mind the canopy uniformity. And a grasshopper, grasshopper 👃
Day 51. They goofed off for a few days after flip, they acted like they didn't know thats what we were gonna do. Back on the move.
Day 47, just a few days shy of seven weeks. These pups are starting to smell with a little stem rub. Cut them back hard, feeding water and supplemental nutes, MammothP, liquid Karma and rhizotonic to kick off the flip in good spirits
Caught that bug again. He is currently in time out.
Fyi, I cut everything back but the last 3 to 5 pairs. This has worked for me in the past. I feel like some people call it lollipoping. They were the last in line so there is a little slop. I will most likely finish with spot clean today.
Day 59, all is well. May add some milk crates even out the canopy. I'm about to roll out my second trellis in an effort to support things as the get, Moe Phatter
8 weeks since seed 56 days
10 days into flip.
Beating them a little trying to keep bud sights cleared buy stretching plant and cleaning a big fan or two. Nothing much
Day 68 since wetting the seeds
Day 21 since flip ,stretch is mostly done so turned on the CO2, I do this as not to assist stretch. Running 1000-1400ppm ac infinity gear. I retarded the blow off venting to increase heat in the room . We about 84. Also did a mild prune to open them up a bit and clear the bud sights
63 days since wetting the seeds for those counting.
It's 9 weeks on the button. This part is kind of slow, however, as things stretch I'm diligently work to fill cells in my trellis. I also work on removing big fan leaves and general pest maintenance.
Currently on the pest maintenance tip, I'm using yellow sticky traps which appear clean, diatomaceous earth at the soil level and a foliar trueguard product from general hydroponics as an under canopy spray. I feel like the cornerstone to good pest control is diligence, cleanliness and grow space hygiene.
Day 73 all is well the hard prune was well received they are recover and moving along . Day 70, gas has been on for a few days
Two days late on my 21 post flip heavy prune, sometimes more of an art than a science
All is well
35th day of flower, picking up some stink, oil production is there. I have to be careful with odor containment and stealth hygiene practices.
All is good in the hood.
Today is day 31 of flip. We have a little over a month month left .
Will run gas another to weeks then work to drop temp.
Most of them are tracking 70ish day. One looks like a 120 day Long-Term relationship.
Day 41 update
These have been a steady source of wonderful surprises. They were a little slow to start and I still feel like they're a longer run than I can fully incorporate into my stable. That said. They are Hardy, bug resistant vigorous. Vigorous. They have a very nice smell. Any end in sight as to their growth and robustness. They are on track for the last defoliation over the next few days. They have taken proudly and directly on the chin. Everything I could throw at them. And afterthought I am growing some more finicky strains in conjunction with this, they limit the amount of nutrition I can push, that said, these things are like a sponge and they haven't even managed to burn the tips which is saying a lot because I push them harder than most. Great job Superfluous.
Last heavy defoliation scheduled for the end of the week. This is starting to have a nice smell. Decent frost and high quality structure. This one seems to run a little longer than the one I lost which may create logistical difficulties. We'll have to see if it's end Result is greater than it's longer run time. So far a true gem.
