Each plant got 1/2gal of feed water. Also to get the feed water ready I'm using a 5gal bucket and prefilling it with tap water with a pump and an air stone to aerate. Ive got an RO filter coming on Friday, My tap water is extreamly high in the PPM department. Updates will be every Thurday.

December 2nd: Made 2 gal of water and used 3/4 of a gal on each plant. pH to 6.3. between 750-800ppm due to really hard tap water, I've got a RO filter coming on Friday so that will help. First runoff measure was 4000+ppm, I'm assuming this is due to it being the first one, I will monitor it from here on to make sure that number goes down drastically. December 3rd: Some early in veg. LST, this consisted of bending the plant slightly and supporting it with the soil, not much, just enough to bend and move back toward the light to add some extra strength to the stem. December 5th: Increased to 350 PPFD.

December 5th: About 14 hours after I updated my grow diary one of my plants started showing signs of overwatering, I haven't watered my plants in 2 days but when I use a soil probe, I'm getting 50-60% wetness around the middle of my pot but 95% at the bottom. I don't necessarily believe these probes plus I'm using fabric pot, but my plant is still showing signs of overwatering. Now, I'm not freaking out or anything, I understand that if it is overwatering it will correct itself if I don't water, I'm worried about possible other issues like root rot, how do I know if it is root rot? I posted this dilemma and pictures (same as I am posting on my diary) on the questions part of the website but didn't get an answer. If you have suggestions on what's going on, please let me know, otherwise I'm going to let he go and see if overwatering was the issue. Thank you in advance. 12/10/2024 UPDATE: The leaves start drooping shortly before the plants go to sleep, watching a time lapsed video helped me to realize this. Check it out, its pretty cool. December 6th: Plant is doing much better today, unsure why it started drooping like it was, possibly hit a high moisture spot in my pot. I will be trying out coco my next run. Trimmed lower leaves on one plant, branches were getting pretty big. December 7th: Watered with 0.75gal of water each plant, pH to 6.3, 500ppm, the RO filter is doing wonders with my hard tap water, watered until runoff. Topped both plants. December 10th: Trimmed off 2 fan leaves from the taller of the 2 plants, doing LST leaf tucking on both to get lower branches more light. December 11th: My Vivosun thermostat controller took a crap on me today. Unfortunate.

December 12th: Watered both plants with .75 gal pH to 6.4, 2.5ml Armour Si, .75ml CalMag, 2ml FloraMicro (was supposed to use 4ml per gal but accidentally used 2ml per gal), .75ml FloraGro, 2ml FloraBloom, 1/4tsp Recharge. Defoliated larger fan leaves from the bushier of the 2 plants. Also, I used plant training clips but ultimately took them off this day due to plant not responding well to them. December 14th: Flushed both plants to help with salt build-up, Runoff: 5.5pH, 2500ppm. I also super cropped the larger of the 2 plants but less then 24 hours later the plant was standing straight back up, I don't think I did it right December 15th: Trimmed off largest leaves on the taller plant to open up for air flow. December 17th: watered with 1/2gal each pH to 6.9pH, 750ppm, 2.5ml Armour Si, 1ml CalMag, 5ml FloraMicro, 1ml FloraGro, 2ml FloraBloom, 1ml Floralicious Plus, 1ml Root Starter, 1/4tsp Recharge for each plant. December 18th: Sprayed both plants with Lost Coast Plant Therapy for preventative measures.

January 3rd: Flushed both plants with 3.5 gal of water with 10ml Florakleen RUNOFF: 1000ppm, 5.9pH January 5th: Watered both with .75gal, just RO water pH'd to 6.4. Realizing last week with my 4000+ ppm that I was feeding to much, i thought that every time i watered my plants I was to use my nutrients, well come to find out you need periods of just plane water in between feeds that keep soil pH and ppm ideal. Ill be doing an aggressive feed next to supplement the lost nutrients from the flush's. Please leave a comment and let me know if this is wrong, this is my first grow.

January 22nd: Both plants were watered with 1/4gallon of RO water with 1ml CalMag due to a possible calcium deficiency starting, I pH'd this to 6.3. The RH of the 4x4 Vivosun was 32-35% for the last few days until my new humidifier came, due to this I wanted to give them the 1/4gallon of water just to wet the soil. January 23rd: I gave both plants 3L of RO water, mixed in a small pinch of epsom salt, and .5ml Liquid Koolbloom pH'd to 6.7. January 26th: Watered both plants with 1 gallon of RO water and 1/8tsp of Recharge pH'd to 6.7.
